Function Group inculde FUNCTION_UXX needs to be attached to TR number

HI
Whenever a new FM is created, inculde FUNCTION_UXX will be updated by the function library. We have a situation where we are not creating a new FM, but due to some issue we need to attach this include and transport it to other client.
If any one has any solution, please reply.
thanks.

  • Function Group - CUOV; Help needed

    Hi All,
I am designing a Function module which will be used by a Variant function (LO-Variant configuration). The function Group CUOV has the list of standard function modules. But I am not bale to create successful test data for any of them. I had asked SAP to help me with the function Module documentation, but they said no since the function modules are not RELEASED.
Now, If, any of you have worked with these function modules, please share your code/ideas.

  • Authorization for Function Group

Is it possible to assign an authorization group to a function group? I need some dialog programs to be restricted from some users, unfortunately, my main program is a function group. Normally, in the program attributes, there is an authorization group field. But with function groups this attribute is not there.
    Please help.

    Hi JT,
I think it is not possible.
You can put seperate authority checks in each function module.
Or you can create a common subroutine at function group level and call this subroutine from all the functions.

    Dear All,

    Hi Laxman,
The F1 help of the field says:
Name of the function group, to which the generated maintenance modules will belong.
Means the PBO & PAI modules of the screen will be created under this Functio group.

  • Help regarding SGOSDS function group (attaching Notes and all)

    Hi All,
we have a requirement where in BSP page we have to attach Notes and also some URLs to one particualr service ticket at the time of creation of that service ticket in BSP.
now user again wants to look at that created note and attached URLs.
In R/3 to do this there are function modules in function group SGOSDS.
is there any way to use the same functionality to attach and display these Notes and URL.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vithal

    Hi,
Any existant FM can be called from the BSP via the system itself or if you want to do this via RFC (see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bw31/helpdata/en/22/042537488911d189490000e829fbbd/frameset.htm for this).
You have to create the screens on your own though.

  • Can we attach whole function group at a time to a transport request?

Hi, thank you for viewing this query.
can we attach whole function group at a time to a transport request?
please adivce.. as soon as possible.

If the function group has not been transported yet to other systems (and it's not a local object), there should be a transport already with a FUGR entry.
If not, you can manually create a transportable workbench request via SE01 and add entry R3TR FUGR <name of function group>. This will transport all the dependent subobjects that you mentioned.

  • Question about Function group

    Hi All,
I have to transport a function module from development to next environment. The function group has around 9 function modules among them i have edited one and assigned to a transport request. Do I have to include function group also in the transport along with the function module? pls suggest, in which scenarios we have to transport function group along with function module?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Suresh,
You dont need to transport the Function Group. You would transport it only if the FG is not available in another system or if there is any change in the main program of the FG.
If you create a New Function Module and attach the FM to this FG, then an include gets automatically added to the main program. In this scenario you may need to transport all.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ram.

rblgp_old TYPE rblgp,           "rblgp before aggregation
           END OF mmcr_drseg.
    I retyped this as follows:

        x_drseg_sm         TYPE drseg_sm,

But here's my question.  To load the new table from the SAP table, I've had to use the code below.  Is there any way to simplify this code?  (I don't think there is because the drseg structure is included in the old and the new, so you can't simply say new-drseg = old-drseg.  But maybe there's another way to do it and I'm not seeing it.  Also, note that I had to loop on each of  the inner three tables because it wouldn't compile when I tried statements of the form "new-table[] = old-table[].)

  • Transporting a Function Group

    Hi All,
I created a new function group and few function modules within it. Function group is attached to one transport request. But for some reasons I want  to transport it with some different transport request. So I deleted it from original request.
But now when I am trying to activate the Function Group, It is not attaching the associated function modules and includes within the function group to new transport request. It is only attaching Function group Text and Main program to transport.
Please let me know the way by which I can attach complete function group its related function modules and includes to one transport.
    Thanks,

  • Exporting data from one function group to another

    Dear all,
can you pls provide the solution for the below.
in my requirement two function groups are there. one is standard function group & other is user specific function grp.
in the standard FGRP i have one SAP standard screen xxx, & one user created screen yyy. from xxx screen call goes to the yyy screen. then from yyy  call goes to the screen zzz which is in user specific FGRP.
how to export the data (i.e from structure) from screen yyy which is in one FGRP to screen zzz which is in some other FGRP.
    Regards
    Venkat

    Venkata,
The receiving FM should have a parameter under TABLES for your structure.  You have to put the structure data in an internal table, and then read table ... index 1 to retrieve it both in the FM, and in the calling program.  Upon return to the calling program you wil again need to read table ... index 1 to retreive it and restore it to the structure you process in your calling program.

  • AC 5.3 - Web Services as part of Function Groups for inclusion in RAR

I need to be able to add webservices into my function groups to create risks  for AC 5.3 SP9.
Is there any guide available on how to create rulesets that contain webservices and how to load the equivalent of the USOBT/SU24 and TSTC information for web services?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Simon

    Simon,
Can you please provide clarification on type of web services you are referring to? Are those hosted on SAP system or Non SAP system? How user access is restricted to web service?
I believe you will have to load the web service authorization data as if it is for a Non-RTA system (using RAR data Extraction functionality).  As RAR SOD rule logic is based on Risk -- Function --Action --- Permission concept, you will have to represent webservices as dummy actions, add dummy permission if there are any further authorization restrictions on web services. Define and load dummy text and permissions ( to replicate USOBT/SU24 and TSTC information)
Define functions and risks based on dummy actions/permissions, generate rules. Refer latest AC configuration guide for Non-RTA system's data mapping templates which you will need to upload the authorization data
Hope I understood your question correctly, let me know if u meant something else.
