Is there any function module available for scheduling actions programmatically; ( like done in T-CODE CRMC_ACTION_JOB)

There are couple of FM.
SMOE_ACTIVATE_SCHEDULED_ACTION Function Module which starts Scheduled Actions
SMOE_CALC_SCHEDULED_ACTION     Function module which calculates the scheduled actions to be performed
SMOE_UNDO_SCHEDULED_ACTION     Function Module which finishes the actions started by SMOE_ACTIVATE_SC
SMOE_UPDATE_SCHEDULED_ACTION   Function module which updates running scheduled actions
But we can also write the code using FM:CRM_ACTION_CONTEXT_CREATE and 'CRM_ACTION_DETERMINE and method of the class:cl_manager_ppf

As there is no direct way of scheduling a function module, you may write a online program (program type 1) and call this function module in side it and schedule the program using SM36. Or you may record a CATT procedure for the function module and schedule it using SCAT transaction.Hope this helps

I need to create a one function module to fill the work flow container field. this work flow builder had only one task, that task is triggering through QM Action box. I need to maintain this function module in AM Action box, FM when saving field.
Please help me how to create a new function module in QM Acion box. When run the QM02 with usage decesion option is triggered Associated task is triggering, now how i will pass the notification number to work flow container.

SWC_CREATE_OBJECT 'QMObject' Object Key
Or you can pass the QM number to the Workflow and use GENERICINSTANTIATE Method of Business Object SYSTEM to instantiate the QM Business Object.

Function module to set user status during QA11 transaction

Hi ,
Anyone knows the function module to set the user status during QA11/QA12 transaction?
I received the user status 'e.g CFA1' from an idoc data and would like to set the user set based on this idoc value during QA11/QA12 transaction.
Any function module for this action? BDC seems impossible..

Function Module to Release Scheduled Jobs

Dear All,
I have a requirement to create all the background jobs in SCHEDULED status, this is achieved by using the function modules JOB_OPEN, JOB_SUBMIT and JOB_CLOSE.
Now at a later point of time, i want to release only a few jobs, which were created using the above mentioned procedure. Insead of doing it manually, is there any way to automate this step ??

Function module to get holiday class from work schedule for current day

I need to determine what the public holiday class value is for the current day in a user exit. Is there an SAP function module that can return me this data? This would be the information that is displayed when pressing the work schedule button from infotype 0007

Function module HOLIDAY_CHECK_AND_GET_INFO is closer to what I need. This function module returns an X if the day is a holiday. I will create a Z program and instead of returning an X for a holiday I will return the THOL-KLASS (holiday class) value.

Gui_download Function module is not working in Background Scheduling

Scheduling function module execution in background jobs

Hi,
I have requirement where in after obtaining all the required inputs from the user we will call an function module to execute it.
The requirement is that the execution of fm shld happen in background and a log must be created showing the user whther it was successful or if it failed with the list of errors.
Can you kindly give some input on how to schedule the execution of function module in background job and if scheduled how to create the logs to display the success or error message.

Hi,
Just create a simple program where you have to call this FM.
Pass the values to FM either by declaring some internal table of selection screen and execute the program in background.
For Message Log, you can use structurre BDCMSGCOLL
DATA: MESSTAB LIKE BDCMSGCOLL OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
After Call to FM, read from this internal table as follows
READ TABLE MESSTAB WITH KEY MSGTYP = <Message Type>
MSGNR = <Message Number>.

QISRSCENARIO - Action Box - Adding a custom function module

Hello Experts,
Under the scenario ID for Performance Award in the transaction QISRSCENARIO I created a custom function module in order to exchange standard. I clicked on the follow-up Functions of the MCSP and then I type my new function module, then when I tried to save the changes I received this error message:
The function module Z_CUSTOMFUNCTIONMODULE cannot be used.
Diagnosis
The function module Z_CUSTOMFUNCTIONMODULE is not suitable to be used as a follow-up function, as the interface does not contain the required parameters.
Does anyone knows what parameters am I missing?

I would do it this way..
MCSP is delivered with HRWPC_PCR_SP_TRANSACTION_PA30 as the function module. In SE80, copy the function group HRWPC_PCR_SP_ACTIONS into a custom function group..say Z_PCR_SP_ACTIONS. When prompted to copy the function modules,select HRWPC_PCR_SP_TRANSACTION_PA30 & name the custom object as , say, Z_PCR_SP_TRANSACTION_PA30. put your custom code inside this function module.Activate the custom function group & function module.Now got to the Action Box & replace the Std function for MCSP with your custom function module.

hi i have created a program for scheduling a back ground job for purchase order extract in that i have to get the last 7 days records when i schedule it on every sunday can any one tell me the function module which satisfies the requirment
Date Range input in my program to be calculated for past 7 days from current date (ie from Sunday to Saturday of the week.)

You can do it simply by
v_cdate TYPE sy-datum, " current system date
v_cdate = sy-datum - 7. " take date 7 days before current date
Pass this v_cdate in your logic

Dynamic Actions with Function Module

Hai all,
I got a problem while doing Dynamic Actions. I want to delete a record from 0105 infotype and it is through dynamic actions using function module. All things going correct but in the database table the entry was not deleted. While debugging it was giving as deleted but actually it is not deleting in database table. I hope u help me out.

ACTION - Function module /1BCDWB/SF00000003 of smartform delivered an error

Hi
I entered an order for a customer in eCom webshop. I next received Order Confirmation by e-mail. Then, after closing the order in GUI, I created RMA Request [Return Material Authorization]which was successfully submitted but I never got a Receipt Confirmation for that request. And when I checked in the Actions tab in the RMA Requests transaction in GUI, I can see that Confirmation action is in error status (Incorrectly Processed).
when I click the processing log, I can see the error logs as mentioned below:
Function module /1BCDWB/SF00000003 of smart form delivered an error
Line type IT_SCHED_TXT is unknown.
Action could not be successfully executed
I don't know how to proceed further to investigate this issue.
The smart form here used is Z_CONF_ZRRM
Processing class: ZCL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
Processing method: CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
can any one help if you faced such kind of issue or you know the solution?

This seems like a problem with the custom smart form.
I think your ABAP developers can help you in this regard.
They might be running a loop in the smart form for i.table IT_SCHED_TXT, where the form is unable to find that i.table.
