Function module for assigning BP Number to the Postion ID in org model

Hi Experts,
Is there any function module for assigning BP Number to the Postion ID in organizational model.
The requirement is:
1)There are some employees which are reporting to a Manager who has a position ID.
2) Each of these employees should be assigned to the given position ID.
This can be done by First Locate the BP Record in SAP via the Vantive Person ID and retrieve the SAP BP Number.
Then assign the SAP BP Number found to the Position ID.
My question is Is there any function module for assigning BP Number to the Postion ID .

What is the function module for converting weight unit to another unit.
I want to convert LB to KG.
Tried with fm UNIT_CONVERSION_SIMPLE.

The trick here is we need decalre input output with non-character data type like VBPLK-BRGEW.
We can test using normal SE37.
I tested and this program worked fine:

Here`s the way to find out how its using ...
GO to TR.SE93-> give "KO88" 0> click display
Double click program name and find "call fucntion" when list come up "serach "Settlement" . You`ll get idea.

Function modules for Individual Work maintenance

Hi all,
We're planning to use the functionality of individual work for our customer. And we're planning to use custom screens rather than GUI for creation, maintenance, deletion etc - as GUI screens seem to have some bugs (especially when you try to delete an individual from a student on PIQST00)
So are there any function modules (RFC if possible) related to individual works (for creation, maintenance, deletion etc)? I looked up some function modules but they didn't turn out to be as "functional" as we expected considering our requirements.
If no function module exists to meet our requirements, could you suggest any functional modules for its infotypes (for same purposes)?

Well I already checked those functions with starting HRIQ_INDIV. However none of them seemed to work for me. For instance, HRIQ_INDIVWORK_MAINTAIN. You cannot maintain (neither create ) individual work or anticipated submit date infotypes with that function I guess. Besides that, when I want to test the function and enter some import parameters it needs, let's say creating individual work - therefore opera = inse -, it directs me to Individual Work maintenance screen in module catalog in GUI with an pop-up error!
I need a function like HRIQ_RFC_MODULE_CREATE for instance when you are able to fill all infotypes related to a study modue... To give another example, I can say it can be HRIQ_ADV_ADVASSGNMT_CREATE_RFC when you are able to assign an advisor to a student with all the info needed just like you would do in PIQST00.
However, the function modules related to individual work are not as functional as the function modules I named above.
Should I go for infotype function modules?

1. I am getting the date field from the Flatfile, so i need to format the date to YYYYMMDD. Is there any Function module for that in BW.
2. Based on the above Formated Date i have to find out the Name of the Month like JANUARY, FEBUARY etc.
3. Based on the same above Formated Date i need to find out the Quarter like 1, 2 etc.
Could you please let me know if any function modules are there for the above questions in BW not in ABAP, why i mention is some Function modules are there in ABAP but not in BW.

1.If your input date format is MMDDYYYY then Use SDATE as conversion routine in trans strucutre to convert into YYYYMMDD.
2.By passing year as input parameter for the following FM you would get all the months with text.Using READ statement in routine you can get month name
MONTH_NAMES_GET
3.For Quarters you can use the following FM:
TSTR_PERIODS_QUARTERS

Can anyone provide me with the standard Function Modules for FPE1 and FP08 Transaction code respectively. Actually I need to create a payment request based on the user requirement and cancel/delete the same payment request if he/she wants to cancel it. To do this FPE1 and FP08 are used, but I need their functionality in the code, so I need some Function Modules, which can take care of this.

Also, if indirect valuation is being used, the annual salary field ANSAL also may not be populated. Again, there are some SAP function modules to help us out:
RP_ANSAL_FROM_PERNR - Use this one if all you have is PERNR
RP_ANSAL_FROM_INFOTYPE - Good if you have already data for infotypes 0001 & 0008
