Function Modules for time subtraction.
Hello abapers..
I want two function modules...
1) to subtract 1 hour from time and date.
for eg if the date entered is 23.3.08 and time is 00:00:00
then the function module should give the result as
22.3.08 and 23:00:00.
or if the date is 21.03.08 and time is 12:00:00.
The result should be 21.03.08 and time 11:00:00.
2) the second one is for validation..i am not sure if there is
a function module for that.
I want to validate whether the date entered by the user
in the select option for type sy-datum is in the correct format.
I mean the user should not enter anything except a date.
For eg:
If the user enters 97898jjjj then it should also invalidate this
as well as if the user enters 34.07.08 then also the FM should invalidate this..
Points will be rewarded for helpful answer.
Try this
DATA : diff TYPE i.
PARAMETERS :
iv_stime TYPE t,
iv_sdate TYPE d,
iv_atime TYPE t.
ev_endtime = iv_stime - iv_atime.
diff = ev_endtime - iv_stime.
IF diff > 0.
ev_enddate = iv_sdate - 1.
ELSE.
ev_enddate = iv_sdate.
ENDIF.
WRITE : ev_endtime.
WRITE : ev_enddate.

For Concatenating the month and year into the date format
CONCATENATE p_list1 p_list ws_i INTO ws_c_date1.
CONCATENATE p_list3 p_list2 ws_n_days1 INTO ws_c_date2.
date = ws_c_date1 - ws_c_date2.
In the above sample code the selection screen has month and year as input.
Also check this link

Check FM
<b>RP_CALC_DATE_IN_INTERVAL</b> Add/subtract years/months/days from a date
<b>SD_DATETIME_DIFFERENCE</b> Give the difference in Days and Time for 2 dates
<b>Also for checking valid date:</b>
U can specify the date field as
Select-options: s_date like likp-date(similar to ur requirement)
This itself ceck for the valid date no seperate validation needed.

Function Module for Job reschedule
Hello Experts,
Is there a function module for job rescheduling as i need to create a automation program where i need to select all jobs from excel sheet and reschedule at different time.
Thanks and Regards,
Nikhil Kanegaonkar. You could use the following FM
- [BP_JOB_READ|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=bp_job_read] (read first from TBTCO to fill field JOBCOUNT)
- [BP_JOB_CREATE|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=bp_job_create] (change schedule parameters first)
- for recent versions [BP_JOB_COPY|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=bp_job_copy]
You should take a look at FM of the FG BTCH and SAP documentation like [Programming with the Background Processing System (BC-CCM-BTC)|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/fa/096c53543b11d1898e0000e8322d00/frameset.htm]

Creation of function module for updating the ztable
Hi,
I am sending the requirement for ceation of function module for updating the ztable.
Requirement----
Table Updation rule (New record)
While creating a new record the calling function will export the following to the table handling function.
Table field Probable Values
ZORDERNO-------> Sales Delivery no in case of sales orderShipment no in case of transfer order
UNAME----
> User ID
ZORDTYPE----
> SALEOR in case of sales orderTRANSF in case of transfer order
ZREFDOCNO----
>Sales Order no in case of sales orderPurchase Order no in case of transfer order
ZREFDOCNO1----
>Delivery no in case of transfer order
The table handling function will calculate the following fields
Table field Probable Values
ZREQNO----
>Running serial number (incremented by 1 for each new record)
ZREQDAT -
>System date
ZREQTIME----
> System time
ZSTATUS----
>OPEN (for all new records)
Before inserting a new record the table handling function will always check if a previous record exists for the same order / shipment no. if record exists the function will not insert a new record.
Table Updation rule (Status Update)
While updating a record the calling function will export the following to the table handling function.
Table field Probable Values
ZORDERNO----
>Sales order no in case of sales orderShipment no in case of transfer order
ZSTATUS----
>CANCEL if cancellation successfulERROR if cancellation not possible (order already processed)
The table handling function will calculate the following fields
Table field Probable Values
ZSTATDAT----
>System date
ZSTATTIME----
> System timeDo you have to create/update new record in Ztable through Function Module ?
or you need to write FM only for validation?
Any how, you need to create a Program with Input values for the fields of Ztable, and for rest of fields the Value can be calculated based on input as per your requirement.
Let me know clearly what exactly u need ?

How to findout the Function module for a particular object
Hello friends,
Related to my thread, there was one thread in the forum,to find out the function module for a particular object.I tried the solution provided my our experts but couldn't got the results.Thats why i am putting this thread again.
I want to find out the function modules used for the particular object, i.e. Production order.
solution i tried is, first go to T.C SE37, then in function module field put the object name like Production order and enter, than it will show another screen, there also put object name in function module field and than press enter, it will show all the function modules available for that object.
So could you guys help me out to find out where i am wrong in the process of finding out the function module for a particular object.
Plz don't bother abt the point.Helpful answers will definitely get awarded.
Thanking you guys for your valuable support till now and hoping to get in future too.Dear
When the problem is solved please give points too. Otherwise why people will help others, give time and share their valuable knowledge. This will build up self confidence.
If not solved and closing, then mention the difficulties what u exactly looking for. Simpy closing is not enough because who ever is providing solution will not able to know the real problem.
How to give points I believe u already know that and need not explain.
I had seen many times this problem with others too. Even if the problem is totally resolved they give 2 in stead of 10.

BAPI Function Module for SCM APO Tcode /SAPAPO/AC42
Hi,
I want to know the BAPI Function Modules for SCM APO Tcode /SAPAPO/AC42.
This BAPI FM should return the column values "Remaining Prod Alloc" and "Incoming Order Quantity" when we give
below details as inputs for the Tcode /SAPAPO/AC42
Product Allocation Group
Product
Allocation Procedure
prod Alloc step
Product Alloc Object (Characteristics of Product Alloc Group)
Plant (Characteristics of Product Alloc Group)
Customer Group 5 (Characteristics of Product Alloc Group)
Reward points if helpful.
Thanks,
MichHi,
You should be able to get the information using the standard BAPI (Assuming you are using SCM5.0) BAPI_APOPAL_INSERT in the transaction BAPI.
ProductAllocationAPO.DataInsert
Interface to Import Product Allocation Data Functionality
This method is used to adopt data from OLTP systems for product allocation in the global availability check.
You can do the following using the method:
Adopt new data
You can adopt new characteristics combinations or new time series. Newly created characteristics combinations have the status Active and are therefore included in the product allocation check.
Change existing data
You can overwrite existing data if you have set the interface parameter ALLOW_UPDATE. You can set the status of existing characteristics combinations to Active if you set the interface parameter UPDATE_STATUS. If the characteristics combination does not exist, the system creates it.
The product allocation quantity is overwritten for existing time series. If you also want to change the incoming orders quantity, you must set the interface parameter UPDATE_INCOMING_ORDER_QTY. If the time series does not exist, the system creates it.
Prerequisite
To be able to use this method, you must have made all the Customizing settings for product allocation. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for SAP APO under Global Available-to-Promise -> Product Allocation.
