Hello,
1. Use the FM: BAPI_COAREA_GET_RELATED_CCODES to get the Company Codes Assigned to one Controlling Area.
2. With the available CoCds go to table T001K and get the available plants (T001K-BWKEY).
3. With the available plants use the FM: BAPI_FUNCLOC_GETLIST (tables: PLANPLANT_RA) to get the Functional Locations (tables: FUNCLOC_LIST).

How can I relate an equipment with the PP Work center & functional location

Hi,
I'm trying to relate equipments with their PP work centers (field ITOBATTR-ARBPL listed in the Location tab of the equipment) and the functional location (field ITOB-TPLNR listed in the Structure tab of the equipment) through SQVI.
The workcenter is in a structure and the functional location relation in table ITOB gives me thousands of results with different functional locations per equipment so I can't tell which one is the propper one.
Additionally I would like to filter the equipments flagged for deletion, but I also can't find the field of thet flag).
In resume I need to create a query that gives me all equipments not flagged for deletion with their corresponding PP Work center and functional location.

Please check table EQUZ or view V_EQUI.
In table EQUZ (GEWRK is the work center object number ) -> Use this go to table CRHD and find ARBPL for the correct time slot.
For fucntional location in EQUZ (ILOAN is the location assignment ) -> go to table ILOA with the ILOAN and fetch TPLNR.
Please ensure you fetch records which are currently valid from EQUZ (Use the valid to date field compare . Valid to date must be greater than or equal to current date).

Select Functional Location based on Class

Hi,
In a query, I need to select the functional locations (TPLNR) based on class (KLASSE_D) and Functional Location Category(FLTYP) which are defaulted on the selection screen. FLTYP = 'G' and LKASSE_D = 'GT_RETOB' are the values always defaulted on the selection screen.
I was hoping to select the data from table IFLOT based on FLTYP and filter it by class later. In PROD system, we have about 7 million records in IFLOT where FLTYP = 'G'.
Can anybody know a better way to select the data based on these 2 conditions?

Normally the way I check for tables is as below,
Go to the screen or transaction to know the tables then on top menu System select option status
2. You will get pop-up, select Program screen double click, it will open ABAP editor,
3. Here on Menu utlities select Display Object List or (CtrlShiftF5) will take you to another screen where on left you can see menu for all the Function modules, Dictionary structures etc. Normally we can find related tables from Dictionary structures.
For getting exact tables it is always trial and error method. Pass some available data and check what are the required fields how to get dependent entries etc.

Equipment BOM & Function Location BOM

Dear All,
We are created functional location BOM and we are created Functional location order.In that order i found the Equipment BOM which are linked with functional location.I assigned functional location BOM as well as Equipment BOM items for that order.It will take the items.In Functional location order Equipment BOM items should not take.
Pls.Help me.

Your query is not clear.
Normally when your creating the maintenance order for Functional location. if this FL is having the BOM you will get the this BOM during the material planning in that order.
if your creating the maintenance order for Equipment. if this Equipment is having the BOM you will get the this BOM during the material planning in that order.
If there is no BOM you can plan the Material from the list also.

Check the Valid on date of your function location on which you are trying to install and then check the date on which you are trying to install the equipment.

Can I create 1 repair order for many equipments / functional locations?

I'm trying to create 1 single order for many equipments in different functional locations but it seems like the fields for "equipment" and "functional location" in Operation tab are not allowed to enter.
What is the Tcode to open up those fields?
Or is there any other ways of doing?

1. Object list Activate
IMG => PM & CS => Maintenance & Service Processing => Maintenance & Service Orders => Functions & Settings => Define notification & Order Integration
Select Assignment of operations to Object List entries active in Enh. Object list column for your order type.
2. Then create the order in IW31. Assign all the equipments in object list tab. Define the operations in operation tab. Go to object list & select equipment one by one & click Assignments button in the bottom. In pop-up window, select the operations for that particular equipment. One operation can be assigned to only one operation. If same operation requires for more than one equipment, then different operation rows should be defined.
3. Click Settlement rule button in the top (If you want to create settlement rule manually). Based on your equipment entry in object list, enter the cost center & % of cost to be settled.
4. If you want to automate settlement rule creation, as mentioned in previous posts, use the user exits. Transaction code for user exit is SMOD. ABAP people will write the code based on your input for settlement rule creation.

Functional locations are not transfered to the client

Hi,
I have the problem that no functional locations are transfered to the xMAM client.
I defined a func. loc. selection variant and assigned it to the master data selection of xMAM.
If I create a new notification using a func. loc. it isn't shown on the client (weather the notification or the func. loc.). If I open the notification on the backend, I receive the message that the notification is already transfered to the client. But where is it???
Any idea?

Hi again,
after some testing, I got it working.
1. deleted all log messages for my mobile device (MEREP_PURGE).
2. executed MEREP_EX_REPLIC with MAM30_030
and then it worked. Now funcional locations are transfered to the client.

An organisational unit that represents an area responsible for granting and monitoring credit.
outstanding recievables can spoil the business process. to
control credit limits in sap system we can configure credit
control area.
one company code can hav one credit control area only
but one credit control area can hav many company codes
i.e. u can assign one credit control area to many company
codes.
the relationship is one to many.

Where can I configure it in the *new GL - PCA*?

it's classic, so it's no need to configure it.
The new PCA report is using Financial Statement:Actual/Actual in the new GL report (sap easy access: new GL-information system-cash flow-general).

MAM 30 SR3 functional location characteristics - error on mobile client

Hi,
I added a class and a characteristic to a functional location. This is downloaded to the middleware, at least I can find it back in table merep_207.
It is also downloaded to the client if I look into the data of worklist for MAM_030 in merep_mon.
At the client when I go to technical object->FL->characteristics I see an empty description and empty value field and third field in the header says FUNCLOC_CHARACT_EDIT and there is a hyperlink below with same description FUNCLOC_CHARACT_EDIT.
If I click on it I get an error:
Failed calling event handler_InvocationTargetException_ onLoad in com.sap.mbs.mam.techobj.control.CharacteristicEdit.
Component: techobj
View: com.sap.mbs.mam.techobj.control.FunclocDetail
Event: onEditCharacteristic
Error Code: E503
Error Message: com.sap.mbs.core.api.CAFException

Hi,
1. MAM3.0 is only supported with DB. That fact is clearly stated in MAM 3.0 central note. The reason is not only performance: API for File I/O is missing some functionalities that are supported by DB API.
2. Edit characteristics is not allowed for free entry text characteristics. This is definetely wrong and you should open message for support team to fix it. Those charcteristics should be supported for edit as per specifications of SR3. Easy logic: GIS coordinates is characteristics as well, they are free entry and they should be editable from the device. There is a criptic paragraph in MAM3.0 SR3 restriction note though, something about data format (decimal dot versus comma, etc) that you might want to look into as I feel it might be somehow related.
3. Characteristics not edited from the device are removed from the backend. Please check that ALL backend notes are applied (there are tons of them). I remember finding this problem in testing phase and making backend people aware of it. I believe it was fixed, so it should be a note for this somewhere. If you are sure all notes are applied - that is a sure customer message for support team to fix.

Runtime error while opening stucture tab in Functional Location..

Dear All,
Whenever I'm trying to open the structure tab of functional location I'm getting the runtime error and the message is as follws..
Run time error TIME_OUT
Time Limit Exceeded
The program " SAPLIE01" has exceeded the maximum permitted runtime without interruption and has therefore been terminated
Error Analysis
After specific time,the program is terminated to make the work area available to other users who may be waiting
I did not understand the reason for it....
Any can throw light on this...

Dear
This problem is occuring due to your transactions has so many datas in output. So that system is providing the error. In each sap log in you can control the maximum idle hours at Option header menu at Main menu.
Else you get the Abaper+Basis for the help. There is no error in functional side for sort out.
