Garbled audio on publish --what can I do?

Before I get the standard answers that I've read in other posts: 1) I am working on the latest patch, 2) I imported .wav files (vs. .mp3s), 3) I can export the audio from the library and it sounds fine, 4) I have started in admin mode.

Sorry, i knew i was forgetting some helpful detail... All of the audio is slide audio. Yup, I tried that. I've worked a lot with Presenter in the past and I've learned that trick. This is garbled throughout the 200+ slide demo. I did discover the fix, however. Maybe this will help others: I had checked the box indicating that I wanted the audio mixed to a mono channel when published (I thought it would make for smaller file size). That was the issue. When I removed the check, the audio problem went away.

The reason the alphabetical sections aren't showing is because you don't have enough songs. In order for them to show, you have to have a certain number of songs. ( I think it's 40 ).

Welcome to the Apple Community Newbieappleguy.
Have you tried adjusting the "Audio Out" and the "Dolby Digital" settings in settings > audio and video? It may be worth trying several combinations of these settings, although typically it is the "Dolby Digital" setting that causes most problems for users.
If you are using a sound system/receiver, make sure that you have correctly mapped the input port on your sound system to the output, if you are unsure about how to do this, refer to the manual that came with your sound system.
Have you tried playing various content sources (i.e. podcasts, music, iTunes Store video, other video etc), do you have the same problem with all types of content? If you use optical you might also check that you can see a red light at the end of your optical audio cable. Is your optical audio cable plugged straight into your sound system, or does it go through a switch or other device?

Try going into the settings and 'reset all settings'
you will need to retweak your device but it's helped some with their sound issues.

When I first got my MBP (mid 2010) I was disappointed with the volume output. I noticed that the volume in iTunes is adjusted separately from the volume you control from your keyboard. I’ve also been able to boost my volume by adding an external speaker, either wired or via bluetooth.
If this doesnt fix your problem, there are a few 3rd party apps that will boost your audio output. Check out Soundflower or VLC.

Ive got a few songs that I'm want to burn to a disk. But they say they cant be burned because they are not in an Mp3 formaat. Ok, I fixed that, or so I thought. I right clicked an chose "create mp3 version" but some wouldn't becuase I bought them, and are protected AAc Audio files. What can I do to burn it as an Mp3 or am I screwed? I've chosen to burn them as an Audio file, but my cd players work better if they're set as an Mp3 format.

We are going to have to get at your export settings which gets us to the properties of the finished video that you are trying to play in Windows Media Player.
If you take your finished video from Premiere Elements 13 and import that into a new Premiere Elements 13 project with Add Media/Files and Folders,
does it import into the new project. And, when the video is in the new project, does it display video and have audio in the Edit area monitor?
We need more details of the properties of the finished video. Knowing that you have no problems with this matter in Premiere Elements 12 and that
the finished video plays in CyberLink are important, but they do not help to figure out what is happening in 13 so that it does not happen again.

Thanks restoring and restarting didn't fix my problem - i have started it fresh and still it doesn't work. Basically I press ONCE on the remote, after the machine has not had any commands for 10 minutes, and the cursor skips from one end of the menu to the other - so I can't choose network or update software etc - I sometimes manage to stop it randomly in the middle of the menu if I press on a command in the middle of the cursor skipping all the menu steps...not sure what the problem is but I have basically not used my brand new apple tv since I bought it for that reason! I should call Apple support I suppose! grrrr hate wasting time with stuff like this!

As note already on the iBA forum [ AppleID for ibooks publishing ], you need two IDs. You can't use your developer ID.
If you already signed up for books with that ID, you need to talk to Apple to straighten things out.

I have been working on animating a scene in flash for a few weeks and recently I have encountered a problem with importing my images on to the stage where the images I import do not turn up, however the key frame that I attempted to import the image onto shows that it is occupied by an image and every frame previous to the key frame that just imported an image that does not show turns up as a red square that fills the original perimeters of the image, there is no solution to this problem any where on the forum and the adobe technical support staff will not help me find a solution to this problem what can I do to get Flash running normally again and fix this problem?????

I don't know if Flash has a memory limit of its own. The memory for your Flash file is based on the available memory on your computer.
There is a limit on the number of frames that you can have in any given timeline. I think that it's about 15000 frames, but that's a guess. Flash does all of its work at runtime, this means that no part of your animation is pre-compiled like it is in a video file. So the more objects that you have on the stage, the more work Flash has to do. It follows that the more objects that there are to animate, the more work your processor and the video card have to do.

If iTunes purchases, delete and redownload by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise delete and resync if they play OK in iTunes on the computer

By default iWeb keeps its data in (user)/Library/Application Support/iWeb in a file named Domain. Without this file you cannot proceed (other than by recreating the site from scratch using the published version as a reference) so you need to locate it on the original disk.
To confuse matters, Apple have hidden the user’s Library folder in Lion and Mountain Lion to casual viewers, in an attempt to stop new Mac users messing their machines up. To access it, in the Finder go to the ‘Go’ menu and hold down the Option (Alt) key; the Library folder will appear as a choice.
