Geneating a request certificate doesnt work
Normally it's a process that has no problem but in this server when I tried to generate a certificate request through the Certificate Setup Wizard, it says that the Administration Server is down.
The administration server port is running and responding and I don't have problems with Console, neithe accesing the other servers through the Console.
The attempt to generate the certificate is logging at admin-serv/logs/access
What change could affect the Setup Wizard?
Can I do this process through the command line interface?
Thanks in advance for your help, I don't have any idea where I have to review or correct something.
Hello,
I've has the same problems, and can't resolve it. However the
request was send per email, and the installation of the returned
cert makes no problems.
Best regards
Lars

Delete overlaping requests doesnt work with delta
Hello
I need to delete previous request delivered by delta DTP. Process type "Delete overlaping requests from cube" doesnt allow to select delta DTP.
Is it only for full load DTP?
AlexHi ,
Delete Overlapping request from cube works only for full loads.
Also if you have any such query regarding DTP functionality please reger this article

LMS4.1 OGS doesnt work for Eventconsole/Syslog
Hello,
Device selection doesnt work for Monitoring=>Eventconsole/Syslog, but you can filter with the filter function inside Eventconsole/Syslog
but without the possibility for device filtering. Message-Box "No device found ... " will appear also with selecting "All devices"
Device selection (OGS) works in any other applications - with being extremly slow for nested user defined groups btw - including to generate syslog reports from report generator.
Because Spectrum is used for FM in this network, customer will save resources at the slow GUI responding LMS server and switched DFM off, by deactivation at Admin > System > Device Management Functions.
Is the device selection issue in Monitoring=>Eventconsole/Syslog a known bug and can count with a bugfix in future?
Steffen
P.S.: after switching the GUI to https, the syslog subscription has been stopped due to a cerificate trusting issue. I expect from a prime SW that this should be included in the https mode switching automaticly. Please try the following steps:
1. Stop the daemon manager (Net stop crmdmgtd).
2. Regenerate the SSL certificate (Dont forget to start you shell/command prompt session as Administrator):
*Remove server.* files under NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\conf\ssl (take backup of all 4 files before deleting).
*NMSROOT\bin\perl NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\ConfigSSL.pl -disable
*NMSROOT\bin\perl NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\ConfigSSL.pl -enable
*Fill all the details it request for.
*Ensure that the following files are created under NMSROOT\MDC\Apache\conf\ssl :
server.crt
server.csr
server.key
server.pk8
3. Start the daemon manager (net start crmdmgtd).
4. Try to access the GUI with https://xxxxxx:443.

Certificate not works when deploy the store app package by powershell
I request a web service with a pfx certificate in windows store app, it works well, but after I create a package by VS2013, and
deploy the app with powershell, access web service failed, seems the certificate not works. Any hints, suggestion ? My code as below:
string certRawData = StringEncryptionHelper.Decrypt(ConfigurationLoader.ApplicationSettings.CertificateData.RawData);
string certPassword = StringEncryptionHelper.Decrypt(ConfigurationLoader.ApplicationSettings.CertificateData.Password);
await CertificateEnrollmentManager.ImportPfxDataAsync(certRawData,
certPassword,
ExportOption.Exportable,
KeyProtectionLevel.NoConsent,
InstallOptions.None,
ConfigurationLoader.ApplicationSettings.CertificateData.FriendlyName);
CertificateQuery certQuery = new CertificateQuery { FriendlyName = ConfigurationLoader.ApplicationSettings.CertificateData.FriendlyName };
IReadOnlyList<Windows.Security.Cryptography.Certificates.Certificate> certs = await CertificateStores.FindAllAsync(certQuery);
certificate = certs.FirstOrDefault();
var protolFilter = new HttpBaseProtocolFilter { ClientCertificate = certificate };
var client = new HttpClient(protolFilter);
HttpResponseMessage result = await client.GetAsync(requestUri);Hello Mosser lee,

Hi i have deployed a sandbox solution using visual stdio2012 on share-point 2013 site at my local machine. when i tried to add web parts from custom folder to web part zone following error comes "An unknown exception occurred while executing a sand
boxed code solution request in the worker process."
how ever this is working on sharepoint online site. but not only on my local sharepoint site
Can anyone help me . reply will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Ritu RanjanGuYuming,
You have not yet addressed the original issue, please DO NOT mark this as answered. The suggestion to use the ulsviewer would only help in finding out more about the issue, but will not solve the unknown exception. I have been able to duplicate
the problem in my Development Environment and it seems to be related to permissions or running the SP 2013 "Development" environment on a Windows Server 2012 Domain Controller (to support single machine development).
Ritu Ranjan,
I found a post with a similar issue but might be related to this post as well.
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/b7408608-c21b-45d9-bc16-e6afff510cd2. I tried switching the User Code Host account from the farm account to the App Pool account but the error stays the same.
Here is information from the ULS to provide more details to anyone who would like to help resolve this issue:

Non-domain computer request certificate
We have Enterprise CA with Certificate Enrollment Policy Web Service and Certificate Enrollment Web Service on same domain computer.
When I configure Enrollment policy on non-domain computers by adding exist Certificate Enrollment Policy Server:
mmc->Certificates(local computer)->Personal-Manage Enrollment Policy, all looks fine. But when I do request
New Certificate -> Select Certificate Enrollment Policy appears window with empty list and message:
Certificate types are not available. You cannot request a certificate at this time because no certificate types are available. From domain computers all works fine, I can choose templates from the list and can do command:
certutil -config "DomainComp\CAname" -ping.
from non-domain computers I can't do certutil -ping:
...Connecting to DomainComp\CAname ...
Server could not be reached: The RPC server is unavailable. 0x800706baI'm used select username/password authentication when installed CES/CEP roles. If I want to use authentication with
certificates, I must to make request and enroll it on CA. This is a problem for non-domain computer. By the way, using method:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/098f858a-3e89-48d2-828e-274487033f6b/how-to-request-certificate-from-a-nondomain-computer?forum=winserversecurity
I can manually make request file, issue it on Enterprise CA and export certificate file, when import certificate.
This method
http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/archive/2010/05/25/enabling-cep-and-ces-for-enrolling-non-domain-joined-computers-for-certificates.aspx not work because appears empty list of enrolment templates. -
OSB - Resume in Foreach Loop doesnt work
Hi,
I have used for each loop in osb proxy service message flow, and in the stage error handler i am using a resume action to resume the for loop in case of error for any loop.
But then it actually doesnt work. In case of error it continues to next stage instead of resuming the for loop.
Can any one suggest any solution for this? I searched for fourms and was not able to get the exact solution. Was wondering what the problem is. Any suggestions on this? Appreciate your help. Thanks
Note: I cannot use split join as i have to do sequencial invocations and in case of error from any invocation i need to log it and continue the for loop, which as per my knowledge is not possible using split join. Let me know if i am wrong. Thanks
Edited by: 791951 on Mar 10, 2011 9:02 AMThanks for replying. Nope I cannot call that proxy again from the error handler.
Below is the Message Flow
Proxy Service gets the Status as Input Field
Request Pipeline:
Then in the request pipeline proxy takes the status as input and queries DB for the messages (MessageID/Message) with that particular status.
Once it retrieves all the messages for each record of the queried record i use a for loop and post all the messages to an Advanced Queue.
So if there is any message which actually fails then if i call the PS again it again resubmits the messages which actually passed, which is not my requriement.
Please suggest why resume is not working. Appreciate your help. Thanks -
All of a sudden the menu button stopped working. It was fine one day then I put the ipod on charge, several days later when I tried to use it again the Menu button no longer works...
Actually I just realized that the Play/Pause button doesnt work correctly either. When you push and hold it it does not turn the device off anymore although it would still pause/play the songs. The forward/reverse work ok.
I tried resetting the Ipod using the updater and that didnt help. I also tried Menu + Select ... strangely enough it resets the device but after it resets the Menu key doesnt work.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
I submitted a service request. Is there any way of modifying the service request since I just realized that the play/pause button is screwed up also?
Finally, when you turn the hold on/off is that supposed to turn the backlight on/off as well? I never paid attention to it but now when I turn hold on that also turns the backlight on...is that screwed up as well?I am having a similar problem with my mini - it turns on fine and will scroll through the menus, but will not respond by going back through the menus. Instead, it freezes on a screen and does not respond to anything except resetting it (menu & select button). Doesn't seem like the proper way to navigate through the screens and is completely frustrating. I was ready to cry yesterday at the gym because it wouldn't work and didn't know the reset "trick" until 3 hours later! I have also had many problems turning it off too. My brother who owns a regular iPod thinks I am crazy but at least I am seeing people out there with similar problems.
On another note, I have to say I am completely disappointed with Apple. The company loves to portray this user-friendly persona, but in truth it is not that way at all. I received my mini in May and have just started to use it full force this month (October) ... now my 30-day phone support has expired and if I want "live" help I have to pay $50 for extended service. That's bull - I'd like some real answers but have been relegated to chat boards (no offense) and trying to troubleshoot the problem myself by finding close but not exact postings. It seems like such a deceptive bait & switch ploy by Apple. I am tempted to send my mini back for service but just read on the web site that I could be charged up to $100 for service. Again, sounds very sneaky so not sure if I should take the risk or live with a highly annoying product defect. Any suggestions? -
Gf4MX440-VTP TV-Out doesnt work.
I've just buyed a dual gf4 mx440 with 64Mb and TV-Out, TV-In.
When I installed it I began working with two monitors witout problems, but when I've tried to connect de TV-Out, it doesnt word.
I've checked a hundred times the cable connecting, and it's ok because with my old graphic card I could.
I tried to upgrade the BIOS with an unofficial version and it didn't work, I downdated to the original version of BIOS again.
The graphic card detects the TV because it enables the TV-Out option in the configuration, but when I enable it I get a strange screen of one color on TV. The TV get's of a color brown or orange or something like that and I can't see nothing.
I've selected my country format (Pal/B, Pal/G). I've also tried all other formats whitout any result.
I'm running Windows 2000 Sp3
My motherboard is a DFI AD70-SC (With AGP 4x)
AMD Athlon XP 1.500
512Mb DDR RAM
I've tried all but it doesnt work.
Thank you very much.Dunno if this thread is still going, but I figured why not
Well, I bought the GF4-mx440 VTP (8866) back in october, but haven't actually gotten around to testing it until last night, and I ran into the same issues.
For reference, the drivers on my cd are 30.00.
It was quite frustrating, but I did a ton of research and here is what I was able to find out. THis information isn't terribly organized, but bear with me because it's hopefully useful
TV-out on nvidia cards is not as simple as some may say. (Ie. all those who say nvidia has way better drivers than ati ).
Different detonator versions have WIDELY varying tvout support. In Some versions it works, some it works well, some it works poorly and others it doesn't work at all. Quite shocking, but sadly this is true.
Bits of info about the MSI-mx440 vtp itself. The tv out is based on a Seperate chip, the Phillips 7108. This chip handles the tv in and out features. (Geforce4 chips have themselves an "on chip" solution for tvout. But typically when manufactures use a Video In chip, you let that chip handle video out also).
Regarding the 440's bios. There is only one version (as listed through the live update running win9x). HOWEVER there are issues with this card and WinXP, to which the fix is to apply a bios update. I have not tried liveupdate on winxp (I run 98se), but I think that this bios update is only available upon special request to MSI. I'm not sure how it affects the situation(s) under win9x, but supposedly it fixes some winxp issues. (I will be installing XP in a dual boot config shortly, so I'l know for sure soon ). So according to the MSI support FAQ's, there is a bios update to address issues in winXP, that you can only get through special request (assuming you have winxp). I am not sure what the affects would be on win9x system, but since I am giong to dual boot soon, I'll probably have to apply the new bios and find out.
Okay, so how to find out if it's a software (driver) problem, or if it's hardware (a broken card that you can return). Here's what you do:
Unplug all monitors (vga connections) and plug in the TV out (I dont' have any s-vidoe tv's, so I just use the composite (RCA) jack) to a tv, and make sure the tv is on. Now boot your computer.
If you get output to the tv (usually the post info from the motherboard, followed by the win98 startup screen) this means your hardware works fine. (This is what happened to me). Strangely, it made it all the way into windows (on the tv), but typically what happens is that once windows loads you end up with the messed up pinkish brown screen. (I've never been able to have it boot into windows on the tv since then, heh).
SO if you do get picture during startup (before the os loads) then it means your card is fine, and it's a driver issue.
*Note: One thing I've noticed is that your tv-output is affected by which VGA out port you put your monitor on. For me, when booting with both connected (vga and tvout) if it's plugged into one socket, I see both monitor and tv, if it's plugged into the other socket, I don't see tv at boot. Not a big issue, but worth noting*
Okay, so now if you did see otuput on the tv during boot (before windows), you know your hardware is working. So you have to find a driver version that works for you. I'm going to list my own experiences.
MY cd came with the 30.00 MSI drivers. These gave me that icky pinkish brown flickering screen. Tv-out didnt' work with them. Tried the 31.00 MSI drivers, same thing. This was odd I thought, as the two most recent MSI drivers didn't work. So I tried the MSI 28.90 drivers, same thing with them too.
Finally I tried the MSI 27.20 drivers, and voilla, tv out worked! I was able to extend the desktop, and clone it, was even able to tape a downloaded episode of 24 on my vcr .
Of course using year old drivers is less than ideal (especially for 3d gamming). However, these are the ONLY MSI drivers that have tvout working.
I decided to move on to the nvidia detonator reference drivers, ideally you'd stick with the manufacture MSI, but what can you do. Here is what I have found so far:
27.20 MSI - Works with tv out
27.20 Nvidia - Works with tv out
27.30 Nvidia - This one is interesting, tv out works in extended desktop mode. BUT there is no tab in the options for cloning (the 'nview' tab is missing). So you can't clone, or overlay, only the extended desktop. So it's an "extended desktop only" driver.
27.42 Nvidia - Works with tv out (works same as 27.20s)
28.90 MSI - NO tv out
30.00 MSI - No tv out
31.00 MSI - No tv out
30.82 - Most resent 41.09 Nvidia - Tried them all, no tv out for any of them.
I have yet to try all the 28-29 nvidia reference drivers, so dunno if tvout works with them.
So what does this all mean? FIrst off, check if your cards hardware works (boot only with tv on and tvout connected, NO VGA). If your hardware works, then you have to find drivers that work with tvout. Give the ones that worked for me a shot, see if they work for you. (I typically plug in my vga and tvout at same time, so a see the POST in BOTH of them. Boot the computer with everything on, and then go to the settings and try to enable tvout).
This situation is less than ideal of course. It looks like you have to pick your drivers based on 3d performance, or tvout. But not both! Either use the most recent drivers for the best 3d support (but no tvout!), or 1yr old drivers for tv-out, but not the best 3d support. I'm an avid gamer personally, so this situation sucks.
What I find odd, is that MSI's own drivers (28.90, 30.00, 31.00) have these issues. They are privy to the peculiarities of the MSI cards, so they should be able to address it.
What the pattern (some drivers work, others don't) suggests to me is that MSI cards aren't fully compatible with the reference design. Possibly an issue with the bios.
I will try and get a hold of the bios update for the WinXp issue, and see how that affects the situation in win98se.
Hopefully this was helpful
(For reference, my system:
AMD xp1700, 256-DDR Kingston - Samsung chips, ECS k7s5a MB, seagate barracuda IV 40gb HD, LG 40x cdrw, onboard ac97 sound + lan, Usb keyboard + usb mouse).

hi,
my indesign CS6 worked perfectly until yesterday afternoon, when it suddenly crashed and wont open again. all it says is "There are required system fonts or cmap files missing. reinstall indesign". Did that, with the cc cleaner, but that doesnt work!
working on windows 7, sp1 -- never had any problems.
all i can find in other forums is about the cs2, which is fairly outdated. why does this happen?! all my other programs from the master collection work fine!ok, after a quite frustrating weekend the problem seems to have solved itself. what i did (for future requests):
- downloaded cs6 master collection (since i had my cds not with me)
- deinstalled old install
- wiped the system with the adobe cc cleaner tool to get everything off
- restart
- install cs6
- same error. no chance of doing anything.
i then installed a trial version on another computer to at least render my pdf. i then tried something new: i put the cmap & fonts (in C:/Programs/Common Files/Adobe/PDFL) from the working pc on a usb drive. when i "backed up" my PDFL Folder on my main pc into a zip (just in case), i gave indesign another try. it then started up -- since it was the first time a bit slower than usual, but it's back on track. -
Hi,
I´m using a custom user manager and the principals.xml file to declare the roles/groups and the authentication and authorization works fine.
However, i've added a servlet with a run-as tag and it doesnt work. The request.isUserInRole() method returns false.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks.
Luizhi guys,
just fixed this .... your service should run on the same account as you have logged. By default all the service runs as a Local System Account.
Thanx...

Personal hotspot on my iphone 5s operating ios7.1.2 doesnt work. my work laptop can see it and the phone initially registers contact but then it seems to give up and the connection always fails. i have tried resetting settings, switching hotspot on/off, switching 4g on off and nothing seems to work. it worked fine on the same service plan with EE on my old 4s. can anyone help?
Dear brothers
Thanking you so much to be interested about my answer but what I figured out is as long as you bought your iPhone from gulf or Arabian area it will not has face time application cause I think apple has made special software for Arabian areana to privent facetime according to special request by phone cells companies and one of my friends has told me if you want to make sure that your iPhone not for Arabian areana you should check the model number on your iPhone backside if it ends with 29 it means it's for Arabian countries if other numbers it's gonna be for US. Or Hongkong so it's ok
That's all I could know if you have another solution just please let me know
Thanks for all answers -
Click-to-dial doesnt work with Basic integration
Hi,
I have built a CTI adapter to work with Oracle Basic integration. I can do all the functions through UWQ using this adapter. But the click-to-dial doesnt work. Here is the scenario->
1. Customer Call comes in.
2. Agent gets a screen pop and the relevant service request form is popped.
3. Agent answers the call, talks and then hangs up.
4. Agent clicks on the click-to-dial icon next to the customer number field on the service request form.
5. Nothing happens.
Basically, Oracle is not sending the dial string to my adapter at all. I am expecting Oracle will pass the dial string to the CTI adapter to let it place the outbound call as it does in Direct integration. In Direct integration, the CTI adapter does get the dial string from Oracle when agent clicks on "initiate call". Any idea why this is not the case with Basic? Is it not supported with basic?
Here are the java console logs after I hit "Initiate Call" from the SR form ->

'Get All New Data Request by Request' option not working Between DSO n Cube
Hi BI's..
Could anyone please tell me why the option ' Get one Request only' and 'Get All New Data Request by Request' is not working in DTP between Standard DSO and InfoCube.
Scenario:
I have done the data load by Yearwise say FY 2000 to FY 2009 in Infopackage and load it to Write-optimised DSO (10 requests) and again load Request by request to Standard DSO and activate each request. I have selected the option in DTP's to 'Get All New Data Request by Request' and its working fine between WDSO and SDSO. But not working between Cube and SDSO. While Execute DTP its taking as a single request from SDSO to Cube.( 10 request to single request).
Regards,
Sari.Hi,
How does your DTP setting looks like from below options ? It should be change log, assuming you are not deleting change log data.
Delta Init. Extraction from...
- Active Table (with archive)
- Active Table (without archive)
- Archive ( full extraction only)
- Change Log
Also if you want to enable deltas, please do not delete change log. That could create issue while further update from DSO.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Mr Kapadia
