Generally facilities for Smartforms

I am facing problem in Smart Forms.
I have all the required data in my internal tables. i need to go to new page for every new customer: Generally how to implement such basic requirements. Are
there no facilities given. I think This a common requirement.
I'm almost 2 hours busy with it in order to make a new pag
for every new customer.

Hi
In the Table Window Create a LOOP for the CUstomers data ITAB
In that loop create PROGRAM LINES and declare a counter (v_cnt, v_lines) and write the code
and increase the counter
describe table itab lines v_lines.
v_cnt = v_cnt + 1.
and create a COMMAND and in that give the condition
v_lines < v_cnt.
and check the checkbox GOTO NEW PAGE and give the page name.
this will fire New page for each customer

Incident 1. Since many months attempts to download new and updated APPs produced a response – Apple ID Disabled. I had no time to consult an APPLE Store due to work in distant lands. When I finally visited yesterday I was told that as my IPAD has been reported as stolen, and APPLE in its wisdom had blocked its usage! I am not sure how they became so misinformed and nobody every advised me while with a few swift moves APPLE could have located me by email address or SKYPE.
Incident 2. Once the above anomaly had been fixed I tried to down load a newspaper and diligently input my address, credit card number and personal data. Repeatedly I was advised that my Credit Card was invalid and my postal code was incorrect! Really!
I was left to guess that having moved from UK to the US I should have advised APPLE! Not being told of this requirement brought about a second visit to APPLE Store in the same day to waste both mine and their time with a routine anomaly. How parochial in the context of a globalized world!
In each case I tried to resolve the issues using online access to a help line and by calling by phone at the numbers on the APPLE Website. In each of four separate occasions I diligently went through the routine and ended up with a message that thanked me for contacting Apple followed by a polite ‘Good Bye’!
In desperation I went to an Apple Store for the second time in a day as it is close to where I live when I am not working. On both occasions I was courteously attended to by Apple Staff.
However, my work is usually far away from the US and it is generally many thousands of miles to the nearest Apple Store therefore online help is viewed as imperative if one is to resolve issues away from home.
Why can Apple not provide a clearly marked EMAIL address and Telephone number at a Help Desk with real people to respond to requests for help? It would cost nothing in relative terms and might restore my high level of anti-APPLE sentiment that these two recent events have provoked.

If that is your question, the answer is at the bottom right of this web page. It is clearly marked "Contact Us" and is the best way, really the only way, to contact Apple.
If there were a publicly posted email address for concerns such as yours, it would be quickly filled with spam in about three minutes, thereby becoming instantly useless to you and everyone else. Apple would need to change it hourly, if not more often. That is also the reason you ought not to post your name, location, and what appears to be your iPad's serial number on this publicly viewable website.
Apple does not respond here and I can find no other questions for your fellow Apple users to answer.

Printers for smartforms

Hi Gurus,
Can you tell me the what are the printers are support for smartforms?
Because my client has changes the printer,then the smartforms is not printing the Barcodes are support?

For printing Barcodes we have to use special Barcode printers
where as for printing general smartforms we can use any general printer
but some times certain printers won't accept all fonts and doesn't print the logos barcodes properly, then you have to change the printer settings

EN is not activated for smartform and has no errors

Hi Everyone,
I was looking at couple of threads on topic "smartform name" EN is not activated and has no errors, but I couldn't get a proper answer. So posting my query here.
I had a created a smartform for dunning process for languages F (French) and N (Dutch). While creating, in language attributes, under translation I had chosen the radio button Into selected languages and specified the languages and at the window level also I had maintained the condition on the language key (eg: wa_tab-spras) and activated without any errors.
After the configuration when we are checking it for a FR customer or NL customer, we are getting error saying "For smartform EN is not activated and has no errors".
Please suggest me how can I fix this error. Hoping for a solution...

Yes, it is generating the function module and I changed the general attributes into all languages.Will check and get back to you..

How to get general account for a billing document ( BSEG) ?

Hello,
For a billing document to a client , We need to get the general account for each item of the invoice . We based on the field XBLNR of table VBRK to select a document from BKPF with condition : VBRK-XBLNR = BKPF-vbeln . If yes we will get from table BSEG for bseg-vbeln = bkpf-vbeln and bseg-posnr = vbrk-posnr . then get HKONT.
But as you know BSEG is a cluster table, Select directly from this table is extremly long and seems impossible in our case. Could you please show me the way to do this ?
Our main purpose is to get HKONT ( General account ) for a billing document .

Hi Hoa Binh Xanh,
Why don't you look into tables BSAD and BSID (Transperant Tables) rather directly hitting BSEG ( Cluster Table)
Pass VBELN (Billing Document) in above two tables and get the doucment numbers and then if you need further info hit BSEG with the data you got from BSAD and BSID
OR else Pass KOART = 'D' while selecting data from BSEG it will help in improving performance

Hi Arti!
You can default user settings in a PFCG role, in the "personalization" tab.
If you have a PFCG role that is common to all your users, you can set the default values here.
However it does not prevent them to change these settings later, except if you modify the "user settings" fields properties in cProjects application.

Can I include unstructured files in the general rule for a book ?

I have a series of books with lots of generated files. I want to keep those as they are, but still add structure to the book and the content chapters. How do I write a general rule for the book element that allows an unstructured component - i.e. without wrapping the unstructured content into a container first (which would involve structuring the generated files with a special conversion table just to set the root element for them). Is this possible at all ?

Well,
In my projects the DTD/EDD has an element for the TOC and/or Index, both are defined as <ANY>. The unstructured book component is then wrapped into the appropriate element in the book’s Structure View and gives you something like this:
I am sure there are other ways to handle the population of a structured book with some unstructured files, but this is how I do/did it in several projects.
Using the R/W rules I exclude the content of e.g. <toc> from the XML.

New-page for smartform

Hello all,
I am facing a problem using smartforms. I am printing a report where there is a loop running for a list of plants. For printing the information of each plant, I need to use a new page. Information of one plant may take several pages but for every new plant, I need to insert a page break.
I am using a COMMAND with a checked next page option in my EVENT ON SORT BEGIN for the plant code.
This does the trick, but if I use the command at the bottom, it inserts a blank page at the end of the report. If I use the command at the top of the event, it first shows a blank page and then the data from the 2nd page.
Please sugest how can I fix this.

 You can use following tips for generating smartforms for every new plant.I have generated sales order report using this steps.You can refer it.Tips are given below:
1.Define the structure,workarea and internal table for sales order header and details and also define
select-options for sales order.
2.Also define the one STRUCTURE which has type as ssfctrlop.
e.g. control type ssfctrlop.
 This variable we have to define because we are going to use this in
SSF_OPEN function.This is used to avoid print preview while openning smartform
for every sales order.
3. Select data from vbak for sales header.

Sometimes we have audio with a freeze frame picture. It is difficult to maintain the attention of a 2 year grandson anyway, but the the lost connections make it impossible. Any fixes?

This is a connection problem with wifi. Either your wifi is failing, or your internet service is not fast enough for video feed.

I dont really understand what u mean by this- Accounts payable is resulting from procurement/ service cycle. U create a purchase order- receive the goods- make the invoice verification. This will result in accounts payable. When u create PO there is no accounting entries passed. When u receive goods it will pass the following entry:
Stock a/c Dr
Gr/IR ac/c Cr
when the invoice is recieved:
GR/IR Dr
Vendor Cr
When u are making payment
Vendor a/c Dr
Bank a/c Cr
This complete the purchase cycle.

There is nothing like special GL items. It is called Special GL indicators. Whenever u are receiving down payment ( advance payment) they should be shown separately as per the accounting requirement. They are indicated in the AP or AP by way of special GL indicators.> What is Noted items
Noted items are statistical in nature. Like down payment request. When u want to amke down payment u will create down payment request based on that automoatic payment program will create payment.

Hi ,
In smartforms we can switch between Portrait and Landscape formats in the tab "OUTPUT OPTIONS"
In the FORM ATTRIBUTES, "OUTPUT OPTIONS" tab we can select the type of page format, Characters per inch, lines per inch etc.

Role for SMARTFORMS tcode in DEV system?

Hi all,
I gave access for an ABAP Developer in QA and MIRROR system with a Z_ARCHITECT_MIRROR[Super role with access to all transactions] role.
Whic is restricted in PROD system.
There is a SAP role which contains access for SMARTFORMS tcode in PROD.
As far as I know this is not possible in PROD system??
Would like to know if there is a solution for this?

as long as your PRD system is locked against changes (tx. SCC4) there should not be a problem when the abaper can view smartforms.
check the settings of your PRD-system (no changes allowed in SE06) and no customizing and repository changes allowed in client XXX in tx. SCC4 and you should be safe.

The user which send the smartform to the spool (probably wf-batch) needs an output device. You can maintain this in SU01.

How to create coustom page size for smartforms.

To define a new page format, choose
Administration -> CCMS -> Print->® Spool Administration.
Choose Full Administration and then Page Formats on the Device Types tab page. On the next screen choose Change and Create or Create with Reference. Fill out the fields on the next screen.
Activating a New Page Format
Before using a new page format, you must specify it as a page format in a SAPscript form. Be careful when replacing a page format in a standard SAPscript form as the form may not necessarily fit on the new page format.
You also have to define a format and device type format for the new page format before you can use it.

Hi,
Do u want to print Standard Text or the Texts that are maintained at the Transaction level.
If it is standard text , then u use text id as ST or if it is Texts that are maintained at the Transaction level then u have to go to that specific transaction and check for that text , then go to text editor ,in the goto menu u have header data where u get the Text id , text name.... , use them in ur smartform in the INCLUDE text.
Further u have the option of text modules in smartforms which act as standard texts, so if u r going for creation of standard texts then its better to use text modules.
