Generate Sender Service using UDF

Hi Experts,
We use a RFC lookup in one of our message mapping. We use a UDF to attain this. There is no problem in the RFC lookup.
There is specific lines code which generates the Sender service during runtime in this UDF.
Code:

strSenderService = XIVMService.executeMapping("XIDesignTime","http://xi-design-time","R3System","XIRunTime","http://xi-run-time");
trace.addInfo("strSenderService is "+strSenderService);
This specific lines of code is generating the Sender Service which is already deleted and activated in XI.
Note: If we hard code the Sender Service to the required Service name the scenario is working fine.
The same code is working in Quality system.
Hence there is some minor change needed in this lines of code, so could anyone help us on the same.

if the same code working in quality means then i dont think chnages required in existing code.
my suggestion is.. better to hard code bussiness service name, in quality / production if service name chaging then alter your code like check for which enviornment dev / qual/prod , retrive system id based on that pass your service name(hard code it).

So if I'm correct you have already exposed a PL/SQL procedure or function as web service?
In that case you can generate a proxy (client) for the generated web service using JDeveloper. It will generate Java code which invokes the web service.
See the wizard in JDeveloper, it should be in the same category as the create PL/SQL web service wizard.

Emails not being generated using UDF

Hi,
We had setup a functionality to send email via UDF using the following blog.
Mail without email adapter? Part - I - Process Integration - SCN Wiki
This worked fine for some time. However, it does not generate emails anymore. There were no changes done on the objects. We checked the java mail service settings as suggested in some of the SCN posts and everything looks configured fine.
We are not able to determine what is preventing the emails from being generated. Any pointers would be really helpful.
We are using SAP PI 7.31 java only installation.

How to send request to web service using .pem certificate.

Dear All,
I have a .pem, WSDL file and (Request and Response format), this files are provided by the customer, now I have generated the ServiceClass using WSDL file using wsdl.exe.
Now when I send the request I am getting error as "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error
occurred on a send" when I told my customer to remove the certificate validation from their web service the "Request
and Response both are working fine".
When I opened the .pem file in notepad the content was

I want to know what else I have to do my customer have given me only .pem file with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and -----END CERTIFICATE----- nothing else in the file.
Can anybody please help me in this, below is my code snapshot.

This issue might be due to the invalid .pem certificate file.
Make sure to include the beginning and end tags on each certificate.
The result should look like this:
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
(Your Primary SSL certificate: your_domain_name.crt)
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
(Your Intermediate certificate: DigiCertCA.crt)
-----END CERTIFICATE-----

Problem using WSDL from SAP in IBM's RAD for generating web service client

When importing a WSDL from the ABAP stack on a SAP 6.40 system into IBM's RAD tool for generating a web service client there are errors with the soap fault classes that get generated. The WSDL declares the types for the faults with WebServiceName.RfcException and these have elements of name, text, and message. When the tools see this in the WSDL they generate classes that extend the Java exeception class and this causes an error because the "message" name conflicts with the standard java exception message. Has anyone else ran into this problem? It seems like a basic problem many java tools for generating web service client proxies would have because the soap faults get turned into java exceptions. This name conflict of the java exception with the WSDL fault definition means that code always needs to be adjusted and cannot simply use the classes that are generated from the WSDL. Anyone run across this or a similar problem in the java environment using the SAP WSDL?

It doesn't work when I can't get 3G, whether at home or overseas. Receives no problem, and 3G works fine when it's available.

Maybe it is a 3GS. Anyway, I get the error that the network is not responding, and to check my settings. My ISP is Uniserve (Canada) but I am trying to use Telus (at home, where there is no 3G in my neighbourhood) or whatever is available as I travel eg. US or Europe for outgoing mail when 3G is not available. My husband has no problem with his iphone 4 when he sends email the same way usinf wifi.

Send Email using service broker

Hi,
i have a service broker application that i send message to the queue and a specific SP reads the message and process it, part of this processing is sending the information found on that message to a specific email accounts. this means i have two service broker applicatins, one for my business (sending messages to queue to be processed and the secound one is the SendEmail service)
when i send email using the SP "msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail" the email is recieved 100% true, but when i come to send the email through the SP which recieve the messages from the SB queue, the email is not sent and i dont know where it goes.
this means that i cant read from a queue and send to another one at the same time... can you help me in this!

First of all, this UDF is pretty well knaown so there is no error in this UDF or your configuration for this UDF. I can suggest you something that at the time of configuration in IR, give a context object for that particular field of that file and then use the contect object name everywhere to refer that field. and also check the message type config for correction for my sake.
There is also a possibility that of the input data. i guess you are sending the input file from Cognos and you making the file and putting some where in XI directory and want these to process something and generate with some new desired filename. Check the input because i guess its finding NOTHINg as an Input. check once again.

Soap Action missing in the WSDL generated for Service Interface

Hi All,
I have modelled an interface in the ESR and have created the proxy in the back-end ECC6 system. It is basically an outside-in approach. I have generated a WSDL using the Wizard in the SPROXY transaction. But the WSDL does not have any SOAP Action. I tried to create a web-service for an existing BAPI. That WSDL also did not have any SOAP Action. Can you please let me know why the SOAP Action is missing? Is there any other way of generating the WSDL?

Hi Geetha,
Please try configuring the entire scenario in PI.
If you are using PI 7.1, You can see the WSDL by right clicking on Sender agreement. Please use SENDER SOAP Channel. In PI 7.0 you will have to generate WSDL manually.
