Generated WSDL doesn't work in Visual Studio

After an update of SAP we have some problems with our web service (WSDL).
First of all we created a webservice using SE80. The generated WSDL url mentioned in SE80 doesn't work in visual studio which is in our opinion weird. When we use the url from the SOAMANAGER "Open WSDL document for selected binding" in visual studio we get a little bit further but it still doesn't work. The problem seems to be the "parameter(s)" with or without "s". Does anyone know how we can generated a WSDL with only "parameters"?
ExampleWSDL:
<wsdl:message name="ZPIQ_GET_LEERWEGResponse">
<wsdl:part name="parameter" element="tns:ZPIQ_GET_LEERWEGResponse"/>
</wsdl:message>
u2212
<wsdl:message name="ZPIQ_GET_NATIO">
<wsdl:part name="parameters" element="tns:ZPIQ_GET_NATIO"/>
</wsdl:message>

Hi Ralph,
In order to consume SAP services in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, you need to convert WSDL from SAP (Document style) to Microsoft (RPC style) standard. This conversion is transparent to you, if you use [ES Explorer for .NET|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/dotnet?rid=/library/uuid/c0319dc4-d76d-2a10-d19f-e4f4ff315bde].

  • The touchpad scroll doesn't work in visual studio?

    Hello,
    As I mentioned in the title, the touchpad scroll doesn't work or affect visual studio community. The scrolling works very well with other software but it doesn't with visual studio community. This same button worked with VS 2010, VS 2012 (It stopped sometimes
    but still functioning correctly most of the time), and stopped with 2013 versions. Why?
    Take a look at the video to see the problem in action: http://youtu.be/Qt20pM6ZQAo
    Thank you for your comments!

    Scroll button on what? Are you using a mouse with a scroll wheel, or is this a laptop touch pad?
    If the latter, please read here:

  • ODT 11.1.0.6.20 doesn't work under Visual Studio 2005 server explorer

    I tried to connect to an Oracle Server by Server Explorer of Visual Studio 2005:
    1) In Server Explorer I click with right mouse button on Data Connections and choose Add Connection...
    2) I click on Change...
    3) I choose Oracle Database in the left list
    4) I choose Oracle Data Provider for .NET under the bottom left drop down list called Data provider (I see .NET Framework Data Provider for Oracle and .NET Framework Data Provider for OLE DB too)
    5) Instead of the dialog window shown at this link [http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/net11gobe/building.net/images/addconn04.gif] I see the dialog window shown at this other link [http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/8212/wrongvisualstudio2005se.png]
    6) If I try to insert a right connection string or simply click on OK I receive this message box: "An unexpected error occurred in the .NET Framework Data Provider for Oracle. Please contact the provider vendor to resolve this problem."
    If I try to redo all the operations I cannot see anymore the Oracle Data Provider for .NET under the bottom left drop down list called Data provider.
    My system configuration is:
    - Windows XP SP2 32Bit
    - Oracle 11g ODAC 11.1.0.6.21 with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio (I installed all the packages with Instant Client too, the client works I tried with SqlPlus and Sql Navigator 6.1)
    - Visual Studio 2005 Version 8.0.50727.762 (SP.050727-7600)
    - .NET Framework 2.0.50727
    I can use .NET Framework Data Provider without any problems, but I need the new ODT 11.1.0.6.20 because I can insert stored procedures into .NET dataset visual designer and call from a TableAdapter.
    I hope someone can help me.

    I downloaded ODAC 11.1.0.6.21 recently (two weeks ago).
    I forgot to tell you that I have Visual Studio 2003 Enterprise Architect (Italian language) installed too and I installed ODAC for this version too.
    In Visual Studio 2003 under Provider Tab of the Database connection I don't see any Oracle Data Provider, the only one I see is Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle.

  • Scrolling Header works in Visual Studio but not on Report Server 2008

    2008 R2 Reporting Services. My scrolling header works in Visual Studio but not when deployed to the Report Server and viewed in IE 9. I have read most every post on this issue and can't find a solution. I have the fixed data properties
    set correctly. Any suggestions?
    Help appreciated!
    Linda

    Hi Linda,
    As a suggestion, I would try to delete the deployed version and instead of deploying ther RDL file, i would try to upload the file and test it.
    If the issue exisit, then I would download the exisiting version from the reportserver and compare the xml versions of the two reports and check if the propoerty is getting over written while deploying.

  • Report works on Visual Studio but don't on server

    Hi everybody.
    I'm using Reporting Server link created a report and the dataset uses a expression based query as we can see:
    ="SELECT    a.bug_id AS Caso, c.name AS 'Nome Projeto', e.realname AS 'Atribuído a', b.version AS 'Versão', b.target_version AS 'Previsto para a versão', b.fixed_in_version AS 'Corrigido na versão', d.value AS RDI, CASE b.status WHEN 10 THEN
    'Novo' WHEN 20 THEN 'Retorno' WHEN 30 THEN 'Admitido' WHEN 40 THEN 'Confirmado' WHEN 50 THEN 'Atribuído' WHEN 80 THEN 'Resolvido' WHEN 90 THEN 'Fechado' END AS status, FROM_UNIXTIME(last_updated, '%d-%m-%Y') AS DATA, CASE WHEN locate('.', c.name) THEN LEFT(c.name,
    locate('.',c.name) - 1) ELSE c.name END AS ProjetoPai FROM         mantis_bug_history_table a LEFT OUTER JOIN mantis_bug_table b ON a.bug_id = b.id LEFT OUTER JOIN mantis_project_table c ON b.project_id = c.id LEFT OUTER JOIN  mantis_custom_field_string_table
    d ON a.bug_id = d .bug_id, mantis_user_table e wHERE     (b.handler_id = e.id OR b.handler_id = 0) AND LEFT(c.name, locate('.', c.name) - 1) IN ('" & join(Parameters!ProjetoPai.Value,"','") & "') AND c.name IN ('"
    & join(Parameters!ProjetoFilho.Value,"','") & "') AND last_updated BETWEEN " & Parameters!Parameter1.Value & " AND " & Parameters!Parameter2.Value & "  AND CASE '" & Parameters!Tipo.Value
    & "' WHEN 'Todos' THEN (d.value LIKE '%RDI%' OR d.value LIKE '%RDP%' OR d.value LIKE '%TDR%') WHEN '%RDI%' THEN d.value LIKE '%RDI%' WHEN '%RDP%' THEN d.value LIKE '%RDP%' WHEN '%TDR%' THEN d.value LIKE '%TDR%' END and (b.target_version in ('"
    & join(Parameters!PrevistoVersao.Value,"' , '") & "') or (b.target_version is null)) and (b.fixed_in_version in ('" & join(Parameters!EntregueVersao.Value,"' , '") & "') or (b.fixed_in_version is null)) GROUP
    BY a.bug_id ORDER BY c.name ASC "
    The report works great on Visual Studio preview but when I deploy the report, it doesn't work on server. When I click to generate the report based on parameters, it simply shows nothing.
    Can anybody help?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi Gabriel,
    According to your description, it seems that the reason why you using expression based query is that you want to filter values from a multiple parameter. If in this case, I suggest you can refer to the following queries:
    Change the query:
    c.name IN ('" & join(Parameters!ProjetoFilho.Value,"','") & "') AND last_updated BETWEEN " & Parameters!Parameter1.Value & " AND " & Parameters!Parameter2.Value & "
    To
    c.name IN (@ProjetoFilho) AND last_updated BETWEEN @Parameter1 AND @Parameter2
    We can use the above format to change the all query, then directly use T-SQL query as the dataset query.  Deploy the report to report server to check the issue again.
    If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,

  • Getting Dynamic Context Sensitive Help API to work with Visual Studio 2012 and 64 bit?

    We have RH 9.
    Our developers are working on implementing RH's dynamic CSH API inside of our software product:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/robohelp/robohtml/WSa7dd8288c271d662-26f4398e12b0c229082-8000. html
    The instructions our developer found say:
    Call your Help projects with the function RH_ShowHelp. The source code for this function is contained in the support files which you import into your development project. Languages supported are Visual Basic, C/C++, JavaScript, and Java. The files are in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp [version]\CSH API. The files are:
        CSH API\RoboHelp_CSH.cpp (C/C++, dependent on the .h)
        CSH API\RoboHelp_CSH.h (C/C++, dependent on the .cpp)
    I zipped up the CSH API from my RH 9 version and sent it to the developer. We're using Visual Studio 2012.
    But now the dev is asking, "Is there a newer version? This one doesn't compile in win32 without me making some tweaks, and doesn't work at all in x64..." and "Is RoboHelp10 an option? 9 doesn't seem VS2012 compatible or x64 compatible."
    Does anyone know if there are there is a later version of the API available that works for 64-bit / VS 2012?

    Hi,
    The RoboHelp 10 API should work for WebHelp created with RoboHelp 9. Since the RH10 API will now support Multiscreen HTML5 (introduced with RoboHelp 10), I imagine it will work with VS 2012. But I’ve not tried that. You can try the RH10 API, but Adobe won’t support it
    Alternatively: A colleague of mine created a custom C# API some time ago. That might work for you: http://www.wvanweelden.eu/blog/2012/08/03/custom-webhelp-apis

  • Upgraded reports with left join no longer working in Visual Studio 2008

    I've upgraded an ASP.NET project, which has lots of reports, from Visual Studio 2003 to Visual Studio 2008. Any reports that  contain a left outer join relationship no longer work and it's driving me mad as I've spent hours on this now. Basically, the join fails because there's no rows on the right side of the relationship. I'm checking for nulls in the formula's and there's no record selection criteria. The report is pulling data from 2 stored procedures and a couple of tables. Any ideas?

    Hi Ludek,
    Thanks for your reply. I've already applied SP1 and I assumed it worked, but looking at it in depth I'm not so sure. The installer runs and says its configuring windows etc and it l looks like it finishes, but it doesn't display a message to say installation was successful. When I look in the event log there are warnings during the install, I don't know if I should be worried about them. They are as follows:
    Error in Template (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\ItemTemplates\Web\VisualBasic\1033\AdoNetEntityDataModelVB_ASPNET.zip), file (ModelObjectItemVB_ASPNET.vstemplate). Invalid template element (TemplateID) value (Microsoft.Data.Entity.Design.VSTemplate.ModelObjectItemVB_ASPNET)
    Error in Template (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\ItemTemplates\Web\VisualBasic\1033\AdoNetDataServiceVBWebsite.zip), file (WebDataService.vstemplate).  Unknown attribute (_locID).
    For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
    As for the report itself, Its connecting to SQL Server and getting the data from 2 stored procedures and a few tables. There are no errors reported in the report, the only warning we have is when you close the database expert it says:
    "More than one datasource or a stored procedure has has been used in this report. Please make sure that no SQL expression is added and no server-side group-by is performed." We've always had that message and it's never caused any problems before.

  • Compact Server 4.0 not working in Visual Studio 2014 app

    I have an application that uses Microsoft SQL Server Compact version 4.0. The application works on Windows 8 and it works on windows 7, but it doesn't work on Small Business Server. I created the application with a compact server so it would be flexible
    enough to be installed on anyone's computer. The error I am getting is as follows
    "A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.
    (provider: sQL Network Interfaces, error: 52-Unable to locate a Local Database Runtime installation. Verify that SQL Server Express is properly installed and that the Local Database Runtime feature is enabled.)"
    I verified that the install folder has permissions and the application is running as administrator. Does anyone have an idea of what else I should check? I was looking at Visual Studio and I didn't see how to set "remote connections". Plus the
    application works on my machine (where it was designed).
    Thanks for any help you can provide.
    Hmm... I feel like I have more questions than answers. If you find my reply helpful please mark as Answer below. Thanks.

    Hi Trewaters,
    SQL Server Compact has been deprecated from Visual Studio 2013. Refer to this
    connect item.
    According to the error message, I recommend you install SQL Server 2014 Express or SQL 2014 LocalDB, which can be downloaded from below link.
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42299
    LocalDB is created specifically for developers. It is very easy to install and requires no management. While LocalDB is meant for developers, the regular SQL Server Express will continue to exist as a free SQL Server edition, fully compatible with and easily
    upgradeable to higher SQL Server editions.
    For more information about SQL Server LocalDB, you can review the following articles.

  • Ctrl+Tab not working in Visual Studio 2013 in Remote Desktop

    My PC is W81, and I'm RDing into a W7 machine running Visual Studio 2013 SP4.
    When I press Ctrl+Tab (and hold), I very briefly see the usual editor window list come up, but it goes away and the editor does not switch.
    If I hold Ctrl+Tab and let the repeat start, the same thing happens in rapid succession, but the current tab still never changes.
    I have of course rebooted both client and server, and made sure my keyboard wasn't at fault and toggled all the keys.  No dice.
    Thanks.

    Sorry, but that doesn't get me the original behavior, where I can tab through the list or double-tab, triple-tap TAB to visit the last, second to last, or third to last file I visited (or I could use the visual navigator).  I frequently use these commands,
    and it's really slowing me down.
    Can I please get an admission this is a bug and a commitment to fix it?

  • SSIS package works in Visual Studio but not as a scheduled Job.

    I have a SSIS package that takes some CSVs and Excel documents and imports the data into a database.  The CSVs and Excel document come from outside agencies so I have no control over them.  I have successfully created and ran the SSIS package in
    BIDS (Visual Studio)  However, when I try to run it as a scheduled job on the SQL server I get the following error.
    Source: Import Brazos CSV data Brazos Co CSV [1]     Description: Data conversion failed. The data conversion for column "offDescription" returned status value 4 and status text "Text was truncated or one or more characters had no
    match in the target code page."
    The column is set to ignore on truncation in the data flow source.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    KJ
    Kevin Joyner

    Hi Kjoyner96,
    The error usually occurs due to the data conversion between non-Unicode and Unicode characters. According to your description, the data type of the Output Columns of the Flat File Source should be DT_STR. If the source flat file uses Unicode encoding and
    contains Unicode characters, the data conversion from DT_WSTR to DT_STR will fail. So, I guess the source file in your Dev environment doesn’t have Unicode characters, while the source file on the SSIS server has Unicode characters. If this is the case, open
    the Advanced Editor for the Flat File Source, switch to the Input and Output Columns Properties tab, and change the data type of the Output columns from DT_STR to DT_WSTR. In this condition, the Data Conversion Transformation is not necessary.

    Hi,
    You can put a copy of your master page within the template site, use that for the site's master page, and then save the site as a template then check whether it works.

  • Download an s-record file. Works with hypterminal,doesn't work with meas studio.

    Having problems downloading s-record to unit under test. Hyperterminal downloads file in seconds. But, measurement studio takes a long time, have to send file byte by byte. Don't get correct return value when sending file. Tried Xmodemsend function. Com port is set for direct connection.

    This is going to be hard to solve without a little more information. Can you let us know what libraries you're using (NI-Serial, NI-VISA, etc), and maybe provide the code that's exhibiting the problem? I believe XModemSend is part of the LabWindows/CVI serial library - is that what you're using, and if so, are you using from Microsoft Visual C++ or are you developing with LabWindows/CVI? If the latter, you might get a better answer to your question from the LabWindows/CVI forum.

  • Creating *.dll  in Visual Studio (using c++) for JNI

    Hi,
    I'd like to ask, if anybody has experience how to make *.dll using Visual studio (2003) and use c++.
    I make *.dll library in C ( in DEV-C++), it is no problem in C , but when I use C++, it doesnt work (it is the same in Visual studio)
    I have the same code like in C ( the same header , and the "same" code - in dev-c++ it works well ) but when I try to create this same project using C++ it doesn work.
    Visual studio throws exeption:
    c:\Documents and Settings\patak\Dokumenty\Visual Studio Projects\jniknihovna\jniknihovna.cpp(13): error C2227: left of '->GetStringUTFChars' must point to class/struct/union
    type is 'JNIEnv'
    did you intend to use '.' instead?
    c:\Documents and Settings\patak\Dokumenty\Visual Studio Projects\jniknihovna\jniknihovna.cpp(13): error C2819: type 'JNIEnv_' does not have an overloaded member 'operator ->'
    Well does anybody have any idea how to solve this problem?

    Well I think I use my compiler (dev-c++) corectly:
    My codes :
    *.h file (that is produced by javah)
    /* DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE - it is machine generated */
    #include <jni.h>
    /* Header for class IntArray */
    #ifndef IncludedIntArray
    #define IncludedIntArray

    * Method: sumArray
    * Signature: ([I)I
    JNIEXPORT jint JNICALL Java_pole_IntArray_sumArray
    (JNIEnv *, jobject, jintArray);
    #ifdef __cplusplus
    #endif
    #endif
    And *.cpp
    #include <jni.h>
    #include <stdio.h>
    #include "dll.h"
    JNIEXPORT jint JNICALL
    Java_pole_IntArray_sumArray(JNIEnv *env, jobject obj, jintArray arr)

    jint i, sum = 0;

    for (i = 0; i < 10; i++) {
    sum += buf;
    return sum;
    and in Java : private native int sumArray(int[] arr);
    and again error : 10 C:\Dev-Cpp\dllmain.cpp base operand of `->' has non-pointer type `JNIEnv_'
    (when I compile it as C library, it works , but I need to use C++ in other code, I can find only examples where only *.C is used )
    Maybe here is an error, but I don't know how to solve this problem

  • XMP Toolkit & Visual Studio 6.0

    Hi!
    I'm a software developper from Germany and got started into XMP a couple of days ago. With Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, everything works fine (I compiled the sources and received the lib files as static libraries which I can use for my code).
    Does it also work with Visual Studio 6.0? I tried it, but a "LNK1196: invalid or corrupt import object: unknown version" error is shown then, I suppose you can't use lib files created in 2005 for 6.0. Has anybody successfully used the XMP Toolkit on this version?
    Thanks.

    Tutorial: How to install Visual Studio 6 With Service Pack 5 on Windows Vista RTM
    - If you use Visual Studio.NET, do not install Visual Studio 2002, 2003, 2005 or 2008 first. If you do, this tutorial will not work. You must install them in this order...
    1. Visual Studio 6.0
    2. Service Pack 5
    3. Visual Studio 2002, 2003, 2005 or 2008
    - Right click on Setup.EXE from the Visual Studio 6 CD (MSVS98) and choose 'Run As Administrator' (take note it doesn't matter if your user is already an administrator you still must 'Run as Administrator')
    - You may encounter some strange 'Yes/No' questions which you may not know the answers to that have not prompted you during Visual Studio Setup before. I don't remember what I clicked exactly, but I remember one of them said 'Do you want to overwrite your 'blah blah' settings?' and I clicked 'No'.
    - You will need to reboot twice during installation
    - Before running Service pack 5 setup, you must make modifications to the file 'sp598ent.stf' here's how to do that (note some of the spaces have been truncated, try to not remove the extra space in the stf file when modifying it. If you do, this will not work at all, and you'll get a "Setup Damaged" error)...
    Step 1) Open C:\ServicePack5Dir\sp598ent.stf with 'Notepad.exe'
    Step 2) Replace the following line
    13 Group 28 36 38 29 30 32 26 27 14 25 16 17 20 18 19 15 39 21 22 24 23 43
    -with-
    13 Group 28 38 29 30 32 26 27 14 25 16 17 20 18 19 15 39 21 22 24 23 43
    Step 3) Delete the following lines leaving only a carriage return where it was
    36 Depend "27 ? : 37"
    37 IsWin95 CustomAction "sp598ent.dll,CheckForMDAC"
    Step 4) Save and close C:\ServicePack5Dir\sp598ent.stf
    - Once you are done with that, you must run right click 'setupsp5.exe' and choose 'Run as Administrator' (if you do not run as administrator it will not work)
    - Service Pack 5 Setup should work fine now.
