Generating OVA from VSphere Studio, when trying to deploy via OVA Template, missing Custom Properties page?

This has got to be something simple I'm missing. However I am able to build a OVA package using Vmware Studio, when I use "File->Deploy OVF Template" on the Vcenter server the original OVA was built on it works fine, shows me all the Networking and Custom Application Properties I set up. However, if I take that OVA to a completely different vsphere box (stand alone), those "pages" are missing, there is no section for configuring the Network or my own custom properties.
Is there something simple I'm missing?
Thanks!
M

That is true, Scott. I forgot to mention that I had manually altered the workflow files to change out the old content type id with the new one. The workflow *is* available in the new location, it's just the task form fields that are messed up.

    Hi 99jon,
Many thanks for that. Had been going through this list yesterday and now again today:
Ref  Solution 1: Lightroom is at its latest update
Ref  Solution 2: It's interesting how I cannot find the Preferences file anywhere on my mac. (new mac pro, OS 10/9.2) . . .
Ref  Solution 3: Lightroom doesn't allow me to do anything after the error message appears
Ref  Solution 4: don't have any Nik Software plug-ins
Ref  Solution 5: checked permissions and changed all to "Read & Write" - makes no difference
Ref  Solution 6: I don't have a different user account on my mac.
Not sure what else to do.

  • Error code -45054 from iTunes store when trying to purchase content

Tried everything I could think of. Had already done a fresh install of OS Mavericks and this issue recently came up. Couldn't find any threads describing a fix so any help is appreciated.
error code -45054 from iTunes store when trying to purchase content
    Specifically:
"We could complete your iTunes store request
    An unknown error occurred (-45054)
There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later"
    3 days later...same error code.

    Hello there, Tyger2204.
The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great steps and additional reference links for troubleshooting issues connecting to the iTunes Store:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1368
Feel free to begin with these recommended steps:
Make sure your computer is up-to-date and meets the following requirements
Make sure that you can access the Internet on your computer or device.
Make sure that your computer meets the iTunes minimum system requirements.
Make sure that your operating system is up to date:
For Mac: Choose Apple () > Software Update to determine if updates are available for your computer.
    Troubleshoot issues on a Mac
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store, a software conflict or your Internet service provider (ISP) may be blocking your access.
Update iTunes and Safari to the latest version.
If you have a firewall, your settings may be preventing you from connecting to the iTunes Store. Follow these steps to configure your firewall.
You may need to reset your keychain. Connection issues are occasionally caused by keychain issues. Learn how to use Keychain First Aid to resolve any issues with your keychain.
If you're receiving a specific error message, follow these steps.
If the issue still persists, contact your Internet service provider and confirm that these ports and servers are enabled over your network.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • A report that uses tablix returns error when trying to deploy to Report Server 2005

We have some reports that have been built using tablixes, and tested in a 2008 Report Server. When trying to deploy to Report Server 2005 (don't ask why) we get an error saying
The report definition is not valid. Details: The element 'ReportItems' in namespace 'XXXXXX' has invalid child element 'Tablix'
So.. what is the issue? I guess 2005 does not support tablixes.. And we cannot upgrade the server version. So the real question is.. is there a workaround for this to avoid having to remake those reports for 2005??
    Thanks!

    Hi Shei Pi,
Unfortunately Microsoft provide upgrade option only, not downgrade  .
SSRS 2005 report can be seen in 2008.. but 2008 report cant seen in 2005.
One guy created the utility which is paid, to convert the report from 2008 version to 2005.
You can see similar thread in MSDN here, you can find the paid utility  link also for this issue.

  • Getting bad host error when trying to deploy simple web sample application

    hi,
Can someone tell me why I'm getting this error when trying to deploy the simple web application from samples
    This is what it said:
    deploy_common:
    [echo] Deploying ../assemble/war/webapps-simple.war.
    [exec] java.net.MalformedURLException: Bad host: station_1
    thanks

    Hi,
    Another update on this issue.
To remove the error that we were getting (java.lang.LinkageError: Class javax/xml/transform/Source violates loader constraints), we tried some searching around and found out that the way to fix it is to provide correct versions of xalan.jar, xml-apis.jar and xercesImpl.jar. We downloaded the required version from the apache site and added it to our WEB-INF/lib folder in the WAR file.
Now, we are getting this error:
XPathFactory#newInstance() failed to create an XPathFactory for the default object model: http://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/dom with the XPathFactoryConfigurationException: javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactoryConfigurationException: No XPathFctory implementation found for the object model: http://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/dom
What else we might be missing in our libs or do we need to check some other configurations?
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

  • All contacts disappeared from my iphone when trying to use icloud. What happened?

In order to set up Groups, I was advised to install CopyTrans (free version).
I have also set up and use ICoud.com through my PC to make Groups and arrange contacts.
But now I have NO contacts in my iPhone.  When I close the Contacts App and reopen it, some appear. But when I touch 'Groups' they all disappear again.
How do I access all 700 contacts stored on iCould?
When I Synch with my PC (which uses Outlook) all those 500 contacts are added AGAIN and AGAIN forcing me to delete duplicates constantly.
And then when I turn on the iPhone and touch Groups - they disappear again.
I switched from BlackBerry - was this a mistake?

Suggest you consider using an app to back up your contacts.  This will allow you to easily restore them if this happens again.  One I can recommend is My Contacts Backup Pro, although I'm sure there are others that work as well.  The app will back up your contacts as a vCard attachment to an email.  Send the email to yourself and save either the email or the attachment.  If you ever need to restore your contacts you can just tap the attachment to import them back to your phone.
Then, as mentioned in the other post, try saving your photo stream photos to your camera roll, delete the iCloud account, provide your password and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your data will still be in iCloud), then sign back in.  Hopefully it won't happen again after that.

  • EJBCompiler Exception when trying to deploy application in a cluster

    Hi,
I have setup a cluster environment with 2 Managed Servers. While I tried to deploy the application using the Admin console, I got the following exception on both managed servers. I have tried suggestions from different websites:
              1. adding JDK to $PATH in WebLogic startup script and the system PATH.

I solved recently a similar problem. The problem arised because the
developer had compiled the ejb.jar with JDK 5.0, and then he was trying to
deploy it to WLS 8.1, which supports only JDK 1.4 compiled classes when
              EJBCompiling.

  • BISoapException when trying to embed BI report in a simple jspx page

I'm trying to embed BI report in a simple jspx page in a simple application (without security). When I tried to run the page, I'm getting BISoapException: The connection retrieval failed. But when I test the BI Presentation Services connection in JDEV, it connects successfully. The connection.xml and jspx content are shown at the bottom. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

    Harry,
I'm not really sure why this error is showing up. I did not have any items in my content area. However, I just tested with another content area where I posted items, and the same problem is occurring. We have already set intermedia running, so the searching/indexing functions should be working.
The search navbar is a separate navbar from the default one associated with the content area. However, I still created it under that content area.

  • ZipException when trying to deploy to AS

    Hi,
    I have a rather annoying problem ...
I have a Struts-application which I have developed in Jdeveloper 9.0.3.3 and java 1.4.2_03. I deploy ear-files to a Oracle Application Server 10g, and everything has worked OK until now. All of a sudden I get this error message when trying to start a newly deployed file:
JspServlet: unable to dispatch to requested page: Exception:oracle.jsp.parse.JspParseException: Line #1, <%@ taglib uri="http://xmlns.oracle.com/uix/ui" prefix="uix" %>
Error: java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry size (expected 3983 but got 3988 bytes)
Deploying the same application to the local OC4J works fine.
If I remove the uix-components from the jsp-page everytihing works OK, so it is the uix jars where the problem lies.
The code is stored in cvs, and i imported the same code to another developer and deployed it from his environment and everything worked ok .. so it is nothing wrong with the code or the jar-file for uix. I also tried to recreate the Jdeveloper system-catalog on my computer, but to no avail.
    Would appreciate any help,
    /Petter

Well, I can use everything without problem when I run the application on the local oc4j container. So I guess it can not really be anything wrong with the jar-file. To be sure I also rechecked out the jar file from the cvs.
As it looks right now it seems that I have to reinstall Jdeveloper.
