GeometricBounds of previous page

I have a 2 page spread.
When I add a new page, I want the geometric bounds of the previous page to be adjusted to

The problem is that the new text frame on the new page WILL ACTUALLY be on the PREV PAGE instead of the new page DUE to the geometric bounds. The geometric bounds need to be adjusted so it's on the NEW page BUT same height and width and position/margins. How would I do it?

Actually for this Javascript is not required, on click og back button redirect it to previous page by retaining AM.
Hope it will resolve your problem, session values will be retained it will share the same session.

Displaying previous page without running it's report region sql?

Hi, I just created a button which is PREVIOUS and redirects to the previous URL. However I was hoping I could just display the previous pages report results again without re-running the report sql.
The PREVIOUS button seems to re-run the sql ... is there any way of just caching the previous pages sql results and then they are instantly displayed from the next page by pressing the PREVIOUS button?

Scott, this command works great. If you dont submit the current page it is fine. Is there a way to branch back to the previous page disregarding the current pages submissions as if you submit the current page then the command will only branch back to the same page but before it was submitted?

How do I prevent Pages from pushing paragraphs to next page when they would otherwise begin on the last line of the previous page?

I am writing papers for school which have strict page limits so I can't afford to be losing lines at the bottom of a page because Pages thinks it looks better to have a new paragraph start on the next page. It does this automatically and I have to go back and manually format to get the first line of the paragraph to start on the last line of the previous page. This then creates problems down the line when I am editing so I would really like to be able to turn the feature off.
e.g. with Pages auto-formatting

     Paragraph #1 blah blah
blah blah blah
     Paragraph #2 blah blah
blah blah blah

     Paragraph #3 blah blah

After updating IE7, Firefox 3.6 no longer store history--back button in Firefox can't access previous pages.

Yesterday a security update for IE7 was automatically downloaded into my computer. Now the history feature of Firefox is working poorly. Often it doesn't save previous pages for the back button to access during an online session. The few times I've been able to navigate back to a Google search page, the search terms I've used previously are absent. However most often today, the browser doesn't even acknowledge that there were previous pages and the back button remains grayed out.

I got an email saying that Cor-el had posted a reply to my question. I don't see it on this page. Was it deleted?

Can simulations delete previous pages in graph view

When I run simulations with Multisim 13.0 it will add new pages to the grap view windows but after a while I will need to clear the pages with Edit->Clear pages.
Is it possible when I run a simulation that the previous pages from previous simulations are deleted automatically ?
I saw the ' Auto-close pages ' in the Edit menu but I don't know the use of it and can't find help in the help system for it.

Hi Pierre,
The option to close a graph automatically is not available; you have to use the 'Clear' option.
When the 'auto-close pages' is checked, once you close a design any graphs relating to that design will close.
To search for any feature, press F1 and then click the "Search" tab. enter the keyword such as 'auto-close pages', in this example I got two results and one of which is "Grapher Edit menu. When you click on this, you will get to the page with the description about this feature.

How to return to previous pages without going back one at a time

I do a lot of work on ebay and have to return to previous searches or pages and I used to be able to have a button that would show all the previous pages and I could go down the list and click on it. The only option I have now is to go into history and it only shows recent pages and it's for ALL the tabs open. I want just the tab for ebay previous pages. For instance if I go to ebay sold and relist an item it takes me through the prompts and if I want to return to ebay sold I want a drop down showing that option. I no longer see one. This normally wouldn't be too much of an issue except that the ebay sold is on ebay.com and relist is on ebay.ca so I like to go back to the previous page instead of going to bookmarks, ebay, my ebay, sold etc to get there again. The Back button only allows me to go back one page at a time instead of selecting a previous page from a drop-down list. This is a real problem: anyone have any ideas?

In the previous version of Firefox, I could go back to a previous webpage by clicking on a part of the Back button which brought up a list of recently visited sites, and by clicking one of these, could jump straight back to that page. This facility does not seem to be available in the latest Firefox, and the Back button only goes back one page at a time. This is really inconvenient, as,
it now takes longer to get to an earlier page
there is no visibility of previous pages visited
any actions carried out on webpages are undone when going back through them - this does not happen when jumping back several pages in one go.
This is a real problem as I used to the old system constantly, and cannot continue to use Firefox 4.0 unless there is a way around it.

Return to same record on previous page after using form

Hi,
I have an application that contains a table with tasks and subtasks (which are linked to a task), and for every task, there is a 'add subtask' link, which links to a form where I can create new subtasks for that task.
My problem is that when I have created a new subtask, and return to the previous page (with the overview of tasks and their subtasks) automatically by clicking the 'create'-button, that the report starts again at line 1. I would like it to go back to the same task for which I just added a subtask.
In my search for the answer, I came across these two discussions on this forum:

I tried to implement the solution they came up with in those discussions, but it didn't work for me.
The reason of this might be:
- It are old discussions, maybe some things have changed
- I use a standard report with custom template, they do not
- My link is on a field that has the same value for all records, being just a text item 'Add subtask', in the other discussions they made the link on an actual DB-field, in my case this would be for example task_id.
When I try to implement the solution on the second forum exactly (well, not exactly, I did of course adapt this to my situation), there is one step which doesn't work for me. It's the very last step:
"With these values: #LINK_&P2_EMPNO."
When I put the # in there, the button deletes all the information about the link when I click 'Apply changes'. When I don't use the # (just LINK_&P2_EMPNO.) he doesn't delete the information, but the link to the same record doesn't work.
This is how I implemented it:
Source page (overview of tasks and subtasks):
Link attributes: LINK_#TASK_ID#
Target: Page in this application Page: 4 (form)
Item 1: Name: P4_TASK_ID, Value: #TASK_ID#
Item 2 (not important for returning to the source page): Name: P4_YEAR, Value: #YEAR#
Item 3 (not important for returning to the source page): Name: P4_TEAM, Value: #TEAM#
Target (form):
Action when button clicked: Redirect to page in this application
Page: 3 (source page)
With these values: LINK_&P4_TASK_ID.
It doesn't return to the correct record, but the task_id is included in the link as follows (when I tried to create a new subtask for task 02.01.08 and returned to the source page) f?p=37080:3:5503066190863::NO:::LINK_02.01.08 which is almost the same as they say in the discussion: f?p=&APP_ID.:1:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.:2::#LINK_&P2_EMPNO. (missing the '#'-sign and 1 less ':' before the link-item though).
Why isn't it working for me? How can I solve the problem?
Could I get some help with this please? It would be a very useful functionality in my application as there are a lot of records.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How can I return to previous page? There used to be an arrow in upper left side of screen that would allow this, but it has disappeared.

I have the latest version of Firefox, 5.0 installed today, but no arrow in upper left part of screen that previously would let me return to previous page.

can I somehow edit the location of where I can find all the sheets (right now they are on top of the page, and you can't see all of them listed at quick glance but must scroll/arrow through them)
On my machine I just hit shift-command-j (the keyboard shortcut I assigned in System Preferences) and a list of the sheets in the current document pops up:
I type a number from the list and jump immediately to that sheet. The hands never have to leave the keyboard.
(This particular document had a sheet named for each month. But the sheets in your document automatically will be listed instead.)
This is done via a Jump to Sheet Automator Service (Dropbox download). To install just doubleclick the .workflow package and (if needed) click 'Download Anyway' in System Preferences > Privacy & Security.
Installation will cause a new item to appear in your Numbers > Services menu. Then, if you want a keyboard shortcut, go here in System Preferences and add one:
You can rename or remove the service by holding down the option key in Finder and choosing Go > Library > Services. You can also view the AppleScript contaned within the service by opening the .workflow package in Automator.
Note, also, that in Numbers 3 you don't have to use those left-right arrows upper right to slowly scroll left-right to the sheets that are out of view. Just move your cursor up to the "band" with the "tabs" and drag left or right. That's much faster than using the arrows.

My company recently loaded foxfire and I cannot have two applications open in foxfire, the second page overlays the first and I cannot go back to the previous page or reduce the first page to view the first.

My pages in Foxfore are overlaying one another which is normal but you cannot get back to the previous page. An example is if I have a page opened in a program and open something totally different it replaces the first page and I cannot reduce the size to see the first page I was viewing nor go back to it. I did open a page with audio and opened another application in foxfire and the replacing went on as usual but the audio continued to play so the page is stinn there. Also the tool bar page showing icon is replaced with the newly opened page not an additional page opened being shown as a tab. It's like the newest page or site I open in Foxfire replaces the one that is currently opened.

Yeah, this seems to be something to do with Google, not your iPhone. A search on that error found this page:

which shows people using lots of browsers on different platforms suffering from it. No definitive solutions though.
