Get a hold of someone in the fraud dept stop cancling my orders

my orders are randomly canceled all the time and calling the 1-888-bestbuy is useless. no one can ever answer why orders are canceled nor can they transfer you to someone who can, so all my money in my checking account is tied up for 3 days! what is the use of that number, why pay people to answer the phones if they cant actually help you? i can go into the store and have them place it through express lane and it will still get canceled sometimes. OMS orders are the only orders not to get canceled, but not everything can be bought through OMS.

Hello there jimmyzshack,
Having your orders canceled for unknown reasons would be quite frustrating, and I’m sorry if we have been unable to provide you that reason. That being said, orders may cancel for a number of reasons. Those reasons could consist of fulfillment issues, payment issues, being unable to verify a piece of your information, a limitation on quantities, etc.
While some issues could be resolved by double checking your information and correcting a mistake, or waiting for an item to become available again, others may not be as simple. In regards to the limitation on quantities, we reserve the right to reject any order you place with us from the same BestBuy.com account, the same credit card, or orders with the same billing/shipping address. Subsequent orders for an item may be canceled if you have reached the quantity limitation.
I do apologize for any inconvenience your order cancelations may have caused you. If you should have any questions, please let me know.

  • Why do the fraud dept ignore customers?

This is an ongoing saga relating to fraudulent use of my bank and EE details and the impossibilty of getting someone from the fraud dept to contact me. EE contacted me on the 6th of June to say they suspected fraudulent  activity on my account. On the 19th of June my bank account was debited for £38.01 by an EE direct debit. I was unable to check my account until the 23rd of June when I notified EE (and my bank) of the fraudulent payment. They told me the Fraud Team would speak to me within 72 hours. The following day a delivery company phoned my son’s mobile to say they were unable to deliver an item of high value to an address in Birmingham which we have no connection with. I have never used my son's phone but I used to pay for it some years ago. This suggests to me that the fraudster has a connection to EE/Orange. Again I notified EE.  I phoned again on the 29th of June to point out that the Fraud Team had still not been in touch and was told they would speak to me  within a few days.  I phoned again on the 3rd of July to register a complaint and was told I would be contacted by the Fraud Team within 7 days. I rang the Complaints department again on the 13th of July to be told for the first that the fraud dept  required a recent bank statement but it wasn’t explained why no one from EE had ever asked me for one.  I sent the recent statement that showed the fraudulent payment on the same day. I phoned the Complaints dept again (25th of July) but was only told that the Fraud dept were looking into it and would 'hopefully' be in touch.

    Hi ,
I am very sorry you have had these problems.
This is a public forum no accounts can be accessed.
Do you have an Orange or EE account with us?
    Thanks.

  • Why did I get an email from the fraud dept saying my order is on hold, told to call a number, and then told by dept it's not true?

I placed an order to upgrade my phone yesterday, and the order went through, I was told the new phone would arrive Thursday. After I got home from work today I saw an email from Verizon that says "Dear Customer:
Verizon Fraud Prevention Team is currently reviewing the following order on your wireless account. Please call the Verizon Fraud Prevention Team at 888-483-7200 option 3, press 1 to verify this Order."
I called this number immediately, since I need this phone ASAP, assuming it would just be a recording and I would have to verify an account number or something. But instead, after following the instructions, I was put on hold because I needed to speak to someone in person. After several instances of my call being cut off after being on hold for at least half an hour, I finally got through after three hours and was able to speak to a fraud representative. I gave her my info and told her the problem and she told me I had called the wrong department. Instead of the fraud department, I needed the online order department. She transferred me, and I waited on hold again. When the representative from the online order dept picked up, she first told me if it was a fraud issue I'd need to speak with the fraud dept - who had JUST transferred me to her. After this, she said that my order is not on hold, because it hasn't even been processed yet or had the credit check done. When I asked if this meant I hadn't needed to call at all, she said yes. Is this actually true or is there a chance that there's an issue with my order I don't know about? If there is no issue, these emails really shouldn't be sent out, they're incredibly misleading, and I've wasted a whole lot of time and experienced an incredible amount of anxiety for no reason.

Hi.  I checked on the order and it says the order is currently being processed and I should check back tomorrow. I'm mostly just concerned because I got an email saying the order was on hold, and I want to make sure it actually does go through and I'm not just waiting for a delivery that's not going to come. I'm still confused as to why I'd get an email saying I had to call the fraud department only to be told I shouldn't have called the fraud department.

  • Does anyone know how to get a hold of someone in charge of QA

Customer support is dire! I have spent long hours dealing with costumers service <whose only modes of help are sending me out to buy something new or provide me with a hyperlink to help page that was two clicks away anyway> Between thier lack of knowledge and SARCASTIC JABS it's amazing that I have retained my sanity. I won't go into details but I'll catch you up. 4 sessions in live chat with LOOOONG delay in between responses and I can not make recovery disc, my phono jack does not function properly, my system can not communicate MTP <you know, what you use to fill your ipod, and I kid you not there is a fan LITERALLY RATTLING AROUND inside my 2 month old notebook. So what do I do? I exhaustively seach for away to get a hold of customer service, and all I can find are blogs about how HP costumer service sucks. Bear in mind that I did not put suck into my search engine. I put "HP QA and HP customer service" into google and what returned was BLOGS ABOUT HOW HP CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. Those were the most relevant results in google. So I finally come to this forum and find a thread about..........you guessed it hp customer service sucking.....but oh no an HP moderator locked it down and provided a link to the page where one can obtain the very customer service that has been deemed insufficient by the very COMMUNITY that it is supposed to support. WE PAYED YOU PEOPLE! YOU ARE HERE FOR US NOT WE FOR YOU.
Does anyone know how to get a hold of someone in charge of QA
I will eventually shake the correct bush and flush someone out and I will share my information.......any advice COMMUNITY?

  • No one home in the Fraud Dept.

I notified Verizon Wireless two days three days ago that my account has been hacked.  I've waited on hold only to be told by customer service that Fraud isn't answering the phone and they will call me back.  No has called back.  Someone continues to send texts on my account and no one at Verizon will stop it.  Verizon Wireless is apparently too incompetent to prevent fraud and unwilling to hire enough people to resolve fraud issues.

ME TOO!  Heard the message about"being important...wait a brief moment" 11X
Fraudulent ALERT telling me I'm close to overage and will incur charges. Please call 800-986-9639.
Instead I decides to phone cust service.transferred to FRAUD DEPT only to be in WAIT queue over 13 minutes. I've used 9/100MB DATA, 82 / 500 Msg so low usage nowhere near overage.
Anybody else get this cellphone text alert? Where do you contact administration? Call center isn't working.

  • Notified Verizon of International Travel & The Fraud Dept Suspends My Service for One International Call

I called Verizon to notify them that I would be out of the country traveling to Portugal and Spain.  Based on the customer service representative's advice, I added international calling to my plan.  While in Spain, I called my daughter.  My phone stopped working.  Luckily, it was near the end of my trip and I had internet access at the hotel to communicate with my family. When I arrived in the U.S., my phone did not have service.  I called Verizon three times and finally learned that they had suspended my phone service because of suspected fraud.  My one call from Spain had somehow caused them to suspend service even though I had called to activate international calling.  I did not receive any type of notification that my service was suspended. Today, three weeks after the call from Spain, the fraud department called and were on the verge of suspending my service a second time.  If I had not answered, they were suspending my service.  I understand that preventing fraud is important, but I am very upset that my service was suspended when I did everything that I was supposed to do to use Verizon's international calling feature. Today, the representative said there was not a note in my file about my previous call to the fraud department. Why would they suspend my service two weeks after reinstating it?  Is one call from Spain enough to warrant suspending service when a customer has international calling? What can I do to prevent this happening in the future?

  • How do I get a hold of someone about a person getting into my iTunes store account and making purchases?

Someone got into my iTunes store account and purchased stuff with this app called Kingdom Conquest. I got charged like $39 and I have no clue who it is and how they got my information. I changed my password and deauthorized all computers. I need help in order to get my money back and possibly tracking down who the other person is.

Frankly I'd be very interested to learn the true statistics concerning such issues.  Unfortunately it's been the experience of many people over a long period of time that these statistics will never be attainable.  Meanwhile there's no reason to believe that such statistics as they relate to Verizon differ in a significant way from those of other service industries.
By and large, the "squeaky wheel" principle is at work with customer complaints and related statistics.  We just aren't programmed to sit down, go online, and write a post about how well everything is going.  OTOH we are rarin' to go when things go south.  Having said that, I note that while we encounter many complaints on these boards that are apparently justified, many others merely reflect a "rant" mentality.  This situation has been discussed in detail here many times, it is not subject to solution, and it will remain a factor in the future.
The road to success with service issues is similar to the road used to get anything else accomplished.  Ask nicely, ask succinctly, and listen more than talk.

  • I am trying to get a hold of the value of a seeded field

I added a custom region to a seeded page, part of my validation, I should check a value from the seeded page against a value in my region.
I am trying to get a hold of the value of a seeded field, this is an Oracle selfservice benefits update page.
    The page name is /oracle/apps/ben/selfservice/enrollment/webui/EnrtSelctPG.
The fields I am looking at are healthplan option name and the selection field-that has the check flag.
I am unable to find out the name of the fields and unable to figure out how I can get to the two fields to check their values.
    Can someone please assist?
    Thank you,

I am trying to validate when the user click next.
Compare values from my custom region and a value in a nested seeded region. This is the first tme I am trying to get a hold of a seeded field on the seeded page.
I created stand alone region before, but never compared values and validated Oracle seeded fields. So I am not sure how to go about it.
    Thanks,

  • HT201303 My iPod was stolen the police suggest we get a hold of apple and maybe they could find it but how do I do this I am not that great with these electronics

My iPod was stolen and the police suggested I get a hold of apple to maybe track it.. Were do I go to find that?

    lost/stolen
No app on the iPod is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
    - Apple will do nothing without a court order

  • HT201407 I'm trying to activate my iphone that i got used. i restored it to factory settings and it says it is activated under the previous owners apple id. They are not with me nor do i know how to get a hold of them. What do i do to reactivate it?

I'm trying to activate my iphone that i got used. i restored it to factory settings. I'm now trying to activate the phone and it says it was originallyh activated with someone else appleid. They aren't around nor do i have anyway of getting a hold of them. How do i activate the phone with my appleid?

If you cannot contact the previous owner, then the iPhone is unusuable. There is no way past the activation lock without the Apple ID and password used to set up the lock, or the previous owner removing the device from his/her iCloud account.
If you purchased the iPhone though a service such as eBay that offers buyer protection, contact that service and file a complaint and get your money back. If you purchased the iPhone privately, then you've wasted your money.
    Regards.

  • When I get a message it only vibrates even though all sounds are on and when someone calls the sound works perfectly normal.

when I get a message my iphone 4s only vibrates even though all sounds are on and when someone calls the sound works perfectly normal.

Try a reset. To reset the iPhone, press and hold the home and sleep/wake buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the slide to power off prompt). If that doesn't work, perform a Restore via iTunes (from backup).

  • Can someone explain the icloud to me please? Where are all my old pictures and how can I see them? Photostream only holds 1000 and when I sync my icloud to my mac it only imports what is on my photo stream.

Can someone explain the icloud to me please? Where are all my old pictures and how can I see them? Photostream only holds 1000 and when I sync my icloud to my mac it only imports what is on my photo stream.

When you enable photo stream on your Mac, in imports photos currently in your photo stream.  However, photo stream only keeps photos for 30 days, even though up to 1000 photos will remain on your device until you delete them.  When you enable photo stream on your Mac, you will only receive photos added in the last 30 days, as the others are no longer in your photo stream.
If you want to get all your old photos on your Mac, save them to your camera roll (if they aren't already there) by opening your photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.  Once they are in your camera roll, import them to your Mac as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
Another option would be to create a shared photo stream containing the older photos and invite yourself (as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99).  Then check Shared Photo Streams in iPhoto>Preferences>Photo Stream and you will see this shared photo stream on your Mac.

  • How can I possibly get a hold with an actual person on the phone??? It's emergency!!!!!!

    Hello,
I have been trying to talk to someone at the customer service for the last 3 months but no one never ever picked up my phone!!!
    How can this even possible?
I've been using verizon for the last 4 years!!!
I just moved out from the State and need to cancel my contract. That's why I've been trying so hard to talk to someone at the customer service.
I went to a local store but they all told me that I need to call *611 (which no one ever answers... ) to cancel my contract.
Why can't you guys just make this all easy and let local store do this job? It's such an easy job to cancel the contract and let me pay for the remaining fee.
I wanted to cancel the contract since last MAY but unfortunately, I could not cancel it still and had to pay for my balance for nothing. It's not just couple cents. It was way over $100.
I am getting really frustrated! LiveChat function never works too. It's never on even during working hour. What happened?
Customer pays pretty high for Verizon's service compare to other mobile carriers. I should get a better customer service.
Can someone PLEASE contact me and solve this problem before I get to the point where I need to pay EXTRA???
Please email me (reply me back to my email please) and let me know what I can do and how I can talk to a real person at the customer service.
Thank you for your time and help.
    Have a wonderful day.
    -Jiyoon-

You have two ways to do this.
Bring a copy of your last bill with your account number to a Verizon wireless corporate store (not a reseller )
Tell them to close your account and get a copy of the transaction.
However if done this way, you lose your cell number and access to the online portal. Verizon will mail you a final invoice.
Or if you want service from AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile they need your cell number, the pin number for your account and your account number from your invoice. They will port you over to their service, you keep the cell number and Verizon will send you a final invoice.
This porting process can be done for prepaid services if that is what you want to do.
You can call 1-800-922-0204 press option 4 then keep saying agent.
And you can cancel that way.
    Good Luck
