Get shipping condition fron contract onto sales order

We would like to have the "shipping condition" from a contract carry through to
sales order  and delivery. Right now if we make any chnages to the contract
by chnaging the shipping condition on the contract and then try creating a contract/sales order
, the shipping condition seems to come from the contract with original shipping
condition that was filled in and not the chnaged one.
Is it possible to or is there a copy routine or somewhere we can configure to
have the shipping condition pick up from whats there on the contract rather than pick
it up from the default original shipping condition that was originally there on contract(coming from customer master I suppose).
What do I need to do exactly to get the shipping condition onto my sales oder from the contract directly?
Thanks

Hi
Try use BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE.

  • Security object for shipping conditions (T-Code VA02-sales order)

    Hi
I need to gray out filed-VSBED (shipping conditions) in T-code VA02 (sales order change) for users, what could be the security object to be used for this requirement?
    Regards
    sri

The functional requirement till doesnt seem very clear to me , why would someone want to grey this field? (unless you have a strong case that you use different document types for normal orders, express deliveries, normal service, free of charge and a whole lot of possibilities)
Your SD consultant should guide and let you know that:
Shipping conditions are defined in customizing
you can eithe assign particular shipping conditions to particuar sales document types to make it as a default
(or) you can have the shipping conditions defined in the customer master
the ones set up in SPRO take a preference, but as you rightly noticed - if a use wishes to change the shipping conditions proposed by the system he would be able to do that, and this CANNOT be controlled with authorization objects
The only option you would have, is to find out if the users who are not suppposed to change the conditions beong to the same user group (or make a logical assesment on the common binding feature in the set of users)
then evaluate if you want to make the program changes such that the changes affect only the particular set of users
Note: Changes you make in ABAP do not necessarily apply to the complete user base - it depends on how well you analyse and plan the requirement

  • Shipping conditions in Contracts not copied over to sales order w/ref

In standard SAP the shipping conditions are pulled in from the Sold-to party's customer master unless the shipping conditions are hard coded in the sales order type, in which case they overrule the shipping conditions of the sold-to.
A client enters contracts (CQ) with their customers and creates sales orders with reference to these contracts. The shipping conditions within these contracts are different from those on the Sold-to master record. The client wants the shipping conditions from the contract to flow through to the sales orders created with reference to the contract (instead of the system currently getting them from the sold-to). I do not believe this is standard functionality but I want to be absolutely sure before I respond to the client and tell them that we will have to create a custom routine in copy control to achieve this from the contract.
Other than tweaking copy control routines is there any way the system can be configured so that the shipping conditions from the Contract (CQ) header get pulled in when a sales order is created with reference to the CQ contract?
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    SJ

    Hi,
Whatever be the shipping conditions in contracts that can be flow to sales order,
Please check your input, if you mentioned in sales document then remove from there - VOV8

  • Condition Type is not copying from contract to sales order

    Dear All,
The value the i am giving in the sales contract is not copying into sales order. Sytem again asking to enter the value. Is there any setting to be done forthat.
    Regards,
    Suresh Yadav.

    Hi,
If the *CONDITION VALUES* are *manually* entered then the values will not be copied from the *SOURCE TO TARGET* document
Please check in the  Contract whether the vales derived from Condition records are entered manually.
If you want the prices to be copied automatically then they have to maintained through CONDITION RECORDS in *VK11*.
Please maintain the CONDITION RECORDS and check whether they have copied or not
Please also cehck the COPY CONTROLS from CONTRACT to SALES ORDER in VTAA transaction -- at item--->pricing type. and set it a s  D

  • ASSIGN SALES CONTRACT TO SALES ORDER

    Hi,
I have created a sales contract. now i want to assign that sales contract to sales order with same material and sold to party.
But the price is not getting captured in material conditions after assigning it to sales contract.
Assigning the contract through EDIT - ASSIGN CONTRACT - HEADER is done properly.
But while assignining it through EDIT - ASSIGN CONTRACT - ITEM it gives error msg saying
'Subsequent assignment for preceding doc. with schedule lines not possible'
I am not able to rectify this error. Could you please help me in this case?
    Regards,
    Krutika

    Dear Krutika
Go to VTAA, select your contract type and sale order type and execute.  Again select your item category and double click on schedule line.  Ensure that the schedule line what should flow in sale order is maintained there.  Block that schedule line and click on blue lens on top left and maintain the routines as follows:-

  • How to manual maintain TAX condition value while creating sales order

    Hi
I am creating one Tax condition suppose JLST without access sequence .
while creating sales order I am manually maintain the % value of TAX. suppose it is 1%
then I see It show some value in TAX .
save that sales order & creating delivery document for that but when I create Invoice its show error.
" Tax code  in procedure CMTAXP is invalid ".
I know the configuration only for Tax condition with vk11 condition record .
BUT now I want to maintain TAX condition at the time of creating sales order.
so I remove the access sequence of that condition .
but It shows tax code error while billing.
My main question is that If i maintain condition record while creating sales order then how i can assign Tax code .
    Can it is possible ?
    if yes then How?
    please help me.
    thank you

    Hi,
The "straight-forward" answer for Tax Code creation is contact the FI consultant. He shall help you, by creating Tax codes.
I have tested, with creating a tax cond type (copy of MWST) & manually entering values. I can create Sorder, Dlv and Bill but I cannot create an Accounting document. That is because of every line (amount) a Tax code is necessary.
I THINK, you can NOT have manually filled tax codes; access sequence is needed to get the tax value (%) and the Tax code from the condition record.
There is lot of material on the web to understand Tax classification, code etc. etc. See a useful link below -
    http://www.sapgeek.net/2010/04/sd-determines-tax-code/
In short Tax code is a must and take the help of your FI consultant for the configuration of the same.
BTW - Tax code is already made created for MWST, therefore I suggested that you can use MWST. Furthermore, you can change the values corresponding to Tax codes in FTXP.
But if you are a beginner in these things, better take help.

  • Converting contract to sales order does not auto create schedule lines

    Hi
When I convert quotation to sales order, then schedule lines get auto created.
But when I convert contract to sales order, then schedule lines don't be auto created. Instead, a confirmation screen for proposal delivery date pops up for every line item in the sales order.
Is there any suggestion how can I solve my problem ?
    Thanks..

    Hi,
In standard SD module, system checks availability for each line item, gives you popup screen of confirmation.
If you don't want availability or popuscreen of confirmation, then
Go to VOV6 >>> Select schedule line which you are using in sales order for line item >>> Remove tick mark of availability check.
    Else
Remove availability check rule from material master >>> Under tab Sales : ganral/plant

  • Copy Billing plan from Contract to Sales Order

But billing plan details maintained in contract is not getting copied to sales order. can anybody give your experience to solve this issue.
    Warm Regards,

    Hello Nag,
Did you check your copy control routines in transaction VTAA? You need to see if these fields are included in the routines maintained for copy control between your contract and sales order.
    I hope this helps.

  • VKGRP should copy from contract to sales Order

    Hi Guru's
I have a problem related with copy control from contract ot sales order. sales group should copy from contract to sales Order while Sales order reffers to customer Master. In contract sales group comes from Customer Master, after saving the contract if i change the sales Group and create sales order with reference to contract. sales group doesn't get updated from the contract. system refers customer master only.
    Any suggestions
    thanks,

    Hi,
I see that you can address this in following ways.
    1. copy control between Sales order - Contract - header level routine.  Here you may be able to influence the copy of the customer group details.
    2. You can use the user exit which will trigger during Contract creation ( Move field to VBAK) or you can think of using save_prepare user exit.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Copy sales office from contract to sales order

    HI,
How can i copy sales office from contract to sales order.is there any requirement in the standard process?
    Regards,
    Ramky

    Dear Ramky,
I think, the requirement will get full-filled with Standard Settings, itself:
Check with Copy-Control Settings (in T. Code: VTAA) b/w Sales Order--Contract.
For the Combination (Contract-to-Sales Order), select "Item" from Left-hand Dialog-Structure, and afterwards, select "Item-Category".
Now, on to next screen, maintain as following:
    Copying requirements 303
    DataT 151 General item data
    DataT 102 Bus.data/item compl.

  • Modification in copy control from Contract to Sales order

    Hello Gurus...
We are using a standard copy control routine to copy header and item level data from Contract to Sales order.
Now what happening is the price for some items is changing after creation of contract. But when the sales order is created it is copying old value from contract.
I want to modify the routine in such a way that I can redetermine the price for the item.
I can not change configuration as the same is used by multiple company codes and the change is required only for some company code.
    Any suggestions please?

    Hi there,
You have do some customizing in the pricing type at the copy controls in item level.
Define a copy control routine at the item level in VOFM. In the routine put a condition that the system should read the value in the pricing type. As per your requirement if the company code / sales org is 1000 / XXXX for eg, then the system should apply the pricing type that will carry out the new pricing at the order (I am not connected to SAP right now so not sure what that pricing type is). If the company code / sales org is apart from 1000 / XXXX, it should default the pricing type that is there in standard copy control VTAA.
Check if that is possible with your ABAPer. What I feel is that you have to hard code the pricing type value (that will carry new pricing) in the new copy control routine.
