I have used Azure managed Cache (Basic tier) in my Web App deployed on cloud service.
Now I am getting exception. ErrorCode<ERRCA0017>:SubStatus<ES0007>:There is a temporary failure. Please retry later. (The request failed because the server is in throttled state) on Production environment.
I know, this exception is occurred when memory usage reached more than 95%.
I want to handle this issue in code so please provide the right solution.
My Clients are facing it... so please help me .

You should add retry logic in case of retriable exceptions. If the retries fail as well you should reset the DataCacheFactory as suggested in this link.

Hi,
I am facing this error every hour. It does not happen randomly but it triggers every hour precisely.
I have half a dozen services connecting to the cache and all of them would get this error at the same time every hour.
The cache is working properly expect this "downtime" every hour.
Any idea?

I am getting the message that "the backup disk image '/volumes//data/ ---'s MacBook pro.sparsebundle" is already in use. ---"s is my administrator designation. I don't know what this means or what I should do. My husband and I both use the same time machine with our MacBooks. It is our router for our home network although for the most part our computers are separate. We share an email site, and some files. I am concerned that we are not backed up securely
Most common message in history of the TC.. something has failed to unmount.. Lion and esp. Mountain Lion are affected.
Simple way.. reboot the TC to lose the connections..
Might take a network reboot.
That means restart the whole network from off.. start in order, modem.. router/TC.. clients. 2min gap between them.
But from 5.6 utility you can disconnnect all users.

It happend at least three times already while the Azure Health Status (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/status/) said everything was fine at that time.

This issue might be happed due to hitting the Windows Azure Cache limitation, where you can not add more than 8MB data at a time. The simple workaround for this issue is to split the object into smaller chunks, i.e you can serialize the object
into smaller byte arrays and pass the arrays to cache as multiple objects. I recommend you could refer to this blog:

For a long time I've been using the shared cache feature without any trouble with a Windows Azure Website (using session cache).
The last couple of days, I've been receiving a slew of errors:
Microsoft.ApplicationServer.Caching.DataCacheException: ErrorCode<ERRCA0017>:SubStatus<ES0002>:
It continues by saying this:
There is a temporary failure. Please retry later. (The request did not find the primary.).
I really don't understand why this is happening now. It was working fine. And all my configuration settings in my web.config are correct.
The URL is right, and my key is right. What could be wrong?

I also had the same error on one of my servers, and it was because the user that created the database no longer worked for the company.
So when his AD account got deleted, the database had NULL as owner
Using the following query I asked for the owners of the databases:
select name, suser_sname(sid) from master.dbo.sysdatabases
So changing the owner of the databases that had a NULL owner solved the issue for me.
use <databasesname>
go
exec sp_changedbowner 'sa'

BPC version we are using is : 5.0.502
When we Publish all reports using the steps below:
a. Log into BPC Web
b. Click on Available Interfaces> Select BPC for Administration
c. Under Web Admin Task Click Publish Reports
d. Select all of the reports and click the green check mark to publish the
reports.

How do I get rid of "Your connection failed because the communication device is unavailable." ? Pops up 4 or 5 times every time I log on to my MBP.

Do you happen to use a USB modem or something like that? This could be the cause.
You could try creating a new network location to see if that fixes it (if not you can just reverse it)
1. Go to Menu -> System Preferences
2. Then go to Network on the 3rd row
3. Make sure the padlock is unlocked (bottom left) with your admin password
4. Choose 'Automatic' next to 'Location' at the top.
5. Choose 'Edit Locations'
6. Then click the + button, and create a new one called home/test/somethingorother
7. Click Done -> Save and wait a few seconds
8. You may have to reconnect to your Wi Fi network etc.
If you have a USB modem, the above steps will most likely remove its config from the Network preferences. As I said, its reversable (just change location back to automatic)

Our TAM says this will be fixed in UR6. We had to turn off Dynamic optimizer or we could have rolled back to UR4 but there were other bugs in UR4 which hurt us more. -

I have a macbook 15 (Late 2008) with 10.6.8 running + Safari 5.1.10 and I have experienced two problems with the Facebook chat:
1. Often (but I would say almost always) the chat window is cut below and I cannot visualize the box where to type my messages.
2. Today I have installed the FacebookVideoCalling_v1.6 to perform video calling, and what I am not able to send messages, but I always got the error: "There was a temporary error, please try again. Click to send again." Nevertheless, by following the suggestion to try later, does not solve the situation.
Does anyone experienced the same problem?
If it can be useful, I have some additional info. This the Java version I have:
java version "1.6.0_65"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_65-b14-462-10M4609)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.65-b04-462, mixed mode)
And here is what I got under the menu "Developers" (the screenshot is in italian, but I guess it is easy to understand it. Some translation: Svluppo = Develop, Mostra = Show, Abilita = Enable, Disabilita = Disable)

I have an old iPhone 3 gs. with ios 3.1.3. how can i update it to at least an ios 5 because it will not let me get games on the app store because the ios is so low.
Update it from iTunes on a computer as described at the bottom of this article; there isn't a Software Update option in General on iOS versions prior to 5.0. It can only be updated directly to the newest iOS release supported by the device’s hardware, which is iOS 6.1.6 for an iPhone 3GS.

Please try to disable the loop back check, compare the result:
In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
Right-click Lsa, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type DisableLoopbackCheck, and then press ENTER.
Right-click DisableLoopbackCheck, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor, and then restart your computer.
