Getting Interleaving Turned off

Hello.
I'm a gamer and would like to request that Interleaving is turned off on my line.
I understand I have to provide some stats - I have Homehub 4 
Advanced Settings > Broadband > Connection it shows the following:
I'm pretty sure I am on Interleave and would like this turning off if possible.

  • Ridiculous! Cannot get interleaving turned off.

    Hello all
    I have been forced to register here out of sheer frustration and a final hope of actually getting something done. I have been calling the call centre in India since the 8th of April asking for Interleaving to be turned off on my connection and for me to be back on fastpath. I have been on fastpath for the last two years and didn't ask for interleaving to be turned back on!
    As I said I have been trying to get fastpath enabled since teh 8th of April and I am now going insane. I have called a total of six times now, And six times I have been promised it will be dealt with. I have spoken to 2 supervisors, the last of which didn't even have the decency to end the call with me adn put one of her underlings on to tell me my request was going to be dealt with.
    I have tried to complain and all I get is a promise that it will be done within 48 hours, it's now over 800 hours and I am still waiting. I am certain I am just being lied to when I ring now.
    Can someone please help? I have been told I can speak to someone English at the call centres but all the people I speak to seem reluctant to even put me through to a supervisor.Let alone get me a native |English speaker.
    Can it really be that difficult for a communications company to communicate with itself and actually get something done for the customer?
    Two years ago I called BT to get my connection switched to fastpath and it was done in 48 hours, what on earth is happening BT?

  • Get interleaving Turned off?

    Hi,
    My problem is that around 2 hrs ago my hub dropped its connection and reconnected , however now the latency type is on Interleaved not FAST anymore. I play alot of games online and this is important to me. When contacting BT Live Chat they said they cant turn it off as i am on ADSL+2 line, but seems strange that in the past about 6 months ago they where able to?
    Is this correct, or are they telling me lies?

    Interleaving will have turned on automatically if the exchange equipment has seen your line as unstable could you please post your hub stats then we can advise you further

  • Getting interleaved turned off

    I know this is a Mod job, but I may as well post here too in case someone has any ideas as to why its been applied.
    When I first moved in to this house a few months back, I was on a fastpath connection, now its dropped to interleaved, despite the line spec and quality being well above average. The 10 days uptime is only because I moved the router power supply to another socket. I've seen 20+ days on it since moving in.
     Download speedachieved during the test was - 6.46 Mbps
     For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.6 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.

  • I recently sold my Mac Air to a friend, he wants to use iTunes Match, but it says he can't for another 40  days because it was attached to my account.  How can I get that turned off so that he can use his account and turn on iTunes match.

    I reecntly spold my mac book air,to a friend, when he tries to use itunes match it says the computer is registersed to another user and cannot be done for another 40+ days.  How do i get that to turn off.  I have unregistered it under my account.

    You either have an incredibly complex computer setup or I think you are confusing terminology here.  If you have iTunes set to share your library with others in your iTunes preferences then other computers in the area will see it as an item when they are running their iTunes and have it set to check for shared libraries.  Your husband is probably seeing this when running iTunes on his computer.  You can disable this sharing on your computer and/or he can set his not to pick up shared libraries.
    By the way, an iTunes account is something you log into when you want to buy something from Apple.  On your computer it is simply your iTunes collection or your iTunes application.  So you need to turn off sharing in your iTunes application preferences.
    Your husband is seeing "his" iTunes collection when running iTunes, but it is possible he doesn't have anything in it if it is a brand new computer.

  • How to get Interleaving switched off?

    Hi everyone,
    My first time here, I have been a happy BT customer for a long time!
    I mainly use my internet for Online Games so I have never been too worried about speed, only the latency, which has got a lot worse! 
    My ADSL is throwing up pings of 50-70ms, which is a far cry from my old 20ms I once had at my old flat, and still a lot worse than the 30ms I got when I first moved in here!
    I understand it could make my line less stable (although never had any problems with stability of the line). Can someone tell me what I need to do to get Interleaving removed? Also if there is anything technical I need to provide, perhaps some helpful person here can advise me how to get the information (e.g. if data is needed from the router (standard Homehub))

  • Interleaving Turned Off

    Hello there,
    I was wondering if anyone could help me with turning interleaving off, I play online games a lot and my latency recently has been terrible and I think this has a good shot at fixing it. I appreciate turning interleaving off could have a negative effect on the performance of my broadband but i'd like to at least try it!

    How many FEC errors are you getting an hour?
    If its a few thousand per hour, then you should be fine to have interleaving off.
    If its hundreds of thousands, then you may get stability issues
    The India call centre have no problem understanding the request to turn interleaving off. Unfortunately due to some confusion (due to home hub problems) they just enabled mine, but a quick call to the help centre and a request has gone through to switch it off...should be done within 24 hours.

  • Ive created a path, but now how do I get it turned off?

    Hi guys,
    One thing that I havent been able to work out is, when I create a path, I use the path, stroke it and now I want to keep the path, but I don't want it to remain on the stage. I want to keep it in the paths channel for easy access, I just don't want to see it on stage.
    Without having to manually save the path/selection seperatley is there anyway I can just simply have it temporarily disappear?
    Any help would be great

    In the Paths Palette, first Save Path (just to be safe), and then click in the empty area below it, to turn it OFF.

    Hi would there be a chance of someone telling me how to get Interleaving turned off on my broadband?
    I submitted a support ticket through the contact us section. Recieved a call back and spent 20 minutes trying to explain what interleaving was to the person on the phone. Didn't manage to get any help other than try changing your wireless channel, which wouldn't help anything.

    the mods will help change latency to fast  on your long line that may well make you line unstable and if so then the DLM will automatically change latency back to interleaved   mods will post a contact us link 
    After completing the email NOT PM then you join a queue of other customers waiting for mod help. The mods will get back to you in 3/5 working days either by phone or email
