Getting Problen in DS activation

Hi experts,
I do ve a problem in ds activation. In R/3 development i activated the data source and it shown green symbol. When I transported the request in production it shown as not activated. I had done activation in rsa5 development and checked it in rsa6. It reflects properly in R/3 DEV but after transported to PRD it is not reflected in lbwe t-code.
Can you please help me out. I am quite sure that i had followed the steps properly. One thing i want to say that in DEV <b>lbwe t-code</b> under the update column JOB CONTROL is in active mode but not in production. Just run the t-code lbwe u can understand what i m trying to say.

Hi Deepak,
There is only one way up here for your question.You need to maintain the Extract structure in Active state and and then do the transport from Dev to Prod.
And also,when you release the transport request,it never transports anything in Inactive state.So,if it is in Active state ,when u transport it,then it will stay so in Prod as well
Have you included any other task in the same transport request.If so check for the other task ,if there is anything to do with it.
Or else,Create a Transport request again and do thye transport again.

I have an application deployed on jboss. DB used is db2. For monitoring purpose i need to get the number of active and idle connections at any point of time. I am trying to use commons-dbcp jar to get this data using BasicDataSourceClass. Following is the piece of code.

1. What configurations do i need so that datasource returned by InitialContext is BasicDataSource? FYI i tried to add the BasicDataSourceFactory in db2-ds.xml. But it still didnt work
2. Is there any other way to find the number of active connections in a connection pool? I dont want any server specific solution.

Getting Runtime Error while Activating Characteristics in BW sandbox system

Hi, i m getting runtime error while activating Characteristics. Error as All InfoObjects Already Saved(locked)
Short Text
SQL error 1691 occurred when accessing program "GP4H8Z73D1WOGH7XBIZ54N5GXEG "
Runtime Errors DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR
even if creating a new Characteristics same error is comming.
Key Figures are getting created successfully but problems is comming only with Characteristics. Please Help...

Follow bellow steps:
a) Once check the Lock entries by useing SM13.
Goto SM13--> Select your object lock entries --> Select delete.
b). Acitvate the Infoobject.

How do I reset the number of activations on Visio 2003 after getting a "too many activations" message?

I just installed Visio 2003 on a PC, and got the "we can't activate this app via the internet because you've installed it too many times" message. I went back to phone activation, but, of course, that's no longer available for this product.
How do I get the number of activations reset? Apparently you used to be able to do this by calling Microsoft, but what's the number to call? Or is there another way to do it?
I'm probably going to need to do it for my copy of Office 2003 also.

How can I get a list of active savepoints for the current session?

Hi,
In Oracle Applications, we are getting the following error while performing ROLLBACK to a Savepoint.
"Unexpected Error: ORA-01086: savepoint 'PTNR_BULK_CALC_TAX_PVT' never establishe d ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception"
So how can I get a list of active savepoints for the current session?
Could you please also let me know if there is any better way to debug this issue.
Appreciate any quick response as the issue is very critical.

How do I open a library book on a recently acquired Samsung Nook? I get "too many activations" error. I have an active adobe digital editions and my other devices work fine. Custumer Support was unable to get the new device activated.

Step 1 - by trial and error...
So far, I have been able to create physical files containing MP3 and JPG on the NAS using the Windows XP systems to copy from shared locations on the Vista and Win7 boxes. This process has been aided by the use of a 600 GB SATA 2 capable hard drive enclosure. I first attach to Win 7 or Win Vista and reboot to see the local drive spaces formatted on the portable device. Then I copy files from the user's private directories to the public drive space. When the portable drive is wired to an XP box, I can use Windows to move the files from the portable device to the NAS without any of the more advanced file attributes being copied to the NAS. Once the files are on the NAS, I can add the new folder(s) to iTunes on any of the computers and voila, the data becomes sharable via iTunes. So far, this works for anything that I have completely purchased, or for MP3's I made from the AIC files created when I purchased alblums via iTunes.
I have three huge boxes full of vynl records I've accumulated. The ones that I've successfully digitized via a turntable attached to the sound card on one of my computers and third party software, have found their way to the NAS after being imported into iTunes and using it to bring down available album art work. In general I've been reasonably well pleased with the sound quality of digital MP3 files created this way, but the software I've been using sometimes has serious problems automatically separating individual songs from the album tracks and re-converting "one at a time" isn't very efficient.

Try something really simple.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or try this. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Or try this as well. Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure it is set to On.

LT09 - Transfer Order User Exit is not getting trigerred though its active

I am trying to assign the enhancement : MWMTO001
( Enhancements for end of transfer order generation )
which contains the user exit component : EXIT_SAPLL03T_001
I have created a project in CMOD and assigned the enhancement.
When I execute the TCode LT09 for transfer order, I noticed that this exit is not getting trigerred ...
I need to call a smartform whenever we save the data in the T-code LT09.
Am i using a wrong Exit ? Please help me to find out why this exit is not getting triggered though its activated ....

According to 2nd scenario, can u suggest how to find out the correct exit...
Actually I written a print prgm in include of EXIT_SAPLL03T_001 & designed SMARTFORM for that...
if I do process thru LT09 transaction & save that SMARTFORM should be triggered which is not happening...I put break points & tried but the exit is not triggering.
pls suggest how to find out the correct exit of LT09 .
