Getting RevMob iOS extension to work, and LinkerOptions/platform.xml

Hello AIR community!
I am trying to implement RevMob ads in an app for a client using RevMob's AIR Native Extension (ANE). I have the extension successfully working on Android, but I don't see any ads on iOS.
RevMob's extension and documentation is located here: RevMob Adobe Air SDK In the iOS section, they have provided <LinkerOptions> and mention some changes to platform.xml. From my understanding, those things are only relevant when compiling an ANE, is that correct?
I tried asking RevMob for support on this but they don't seem to understand what I'm saying; they told me the directions are for Flash Builder and to make sure I was using Flash Builder. I don't, I use FlashDevelop, but I've used dozens of other extensions in FlashDevelop with no problem and I've never had to set LinkerOptions or modify a platform.xml to use an iOS extension. I would guess that they have failed to understand how to use an ANE after compiling it and there is probably a change needed to the <InfoAdditions> section of the app XML. Am I missing something here or is the fault on RevMob's end?
Finally, I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has gotten the RevMob ANE working on iOS and any special steps you had to follow that aren't listed in their documentation.

From my own experience there is no general "Best Practice" to tackle your task: It all depends on the details of your project.
As I see it you have at least 2 different options:
1. Trying to rework your Flash File with Toolkit for CreateJS
2.Design the site from the ground up with the new Edge Tools

FB App installed both devices from Settings//Facebook/Install App using IOS FB Integration with my username/password.
Troubleshooting Done to this point -
Uninstalled FB on iPhone and reinstalled again using the FB in Settings/Facebook/Install App. Entered my username/password in Settings/Facebook.
Turned Wi-Fi off and posted using Cellular connection (says via mobile).
Turned Cellular off and posted connected to Wi-Fi (says via mobile)
Set iPad 3 back to factory default.
Reinstalled everything fresh (did not use iCloud backup).
Installed FB app from Settings/Facebook/Install App. and entered username/password in Settings/Facebook.
Turned Wi-Fi off and posted using 4G cellular connection. (says via mobile)
Turned 4G Cellular off and posted via Wi-Fi (says via mobile)
ALL of my posts from both devices show as being "via mobile". This is extremely frustrating since everyone else in the world seems to post status/comments/pictures/etc from their iPhones and iPads and get the "via IOS" except me.
At first I thought maybe it was an iPhone 4 issue, but the iPad 3 is the newest version of iPad and even it says "posted via mobile" instead of "ios".

try to make a hard reset (home button +power button for 15seconds) then restore by itunes.this is called DFU mode,once you done,can only restore the device by itunes!let me know if it works

Has anyone anywhere managed to get "AIR Native Extensions" to work with Flash CS 5.5?

I'm trying to integrate Adobe's "Gyroscope" example of ANE to work from Flash Professional CS 5.5.

Apparently, one has to use the somewhat crude "ADT" command-line tool to build an app that uses Native Extensions.
Unfortunately, I cannot get past the numerous errors ADT is throwing at me. The latest is:

Unfortunately, I'm not an advanced developer, so I really don't know what any of that means. (But I'm sure if I can just get this one example to compile and run, I'll be better able to perform the necessary tasks in the future.)

If you are looking for input from others, you are more likely to find people with either similar problems or complaints in the Flash General Forum (http://forums.adobe.com/community/flash/flash_general?view=discussions) rather than here in the Actionscript 3 forum. If you scan thru it for the past few weeks/months you might even find someone with the same problem.

Are you sure you have 3G iPod? If it is a 8 or 16 GB one it is a 2G iPod. A 32GB could be either. Identify yurs here:

Bridge 'get photos from camera' stopped working and Bridge won't recognize my DNG files anymore

So, I've got Bridge set up to get pictures from mem.card whenever I insert one in my laptop (win. 8.1). A week ago I installed Sony's PlayMemories. Without asking me it hijacked Bridge's task of getting pictures from my cards. What's worse, I tried to fire the 'get photos from camera' function manually from Bridge. Bridge starts working, but nothing happens. I uninstalled PlayMemories and reset Bridge, also told my laptop to run Bridge whenever I insert a card. Still nothing happens and I still can't get the 'get photos' function to run manually from Bridge. Anyway, I can still rund the DNG converter to get my pictures, but today Bridge won't recognize my DNG files - worked fine yesterday. I downloaded CS6 from this link https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html and tried to run the installer, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe I need to do a full uninstall off CS6 for it to do anything..? Anyway, if any of you guys could help me with my Bridge/CS6 issues I'd be grateful. I've got 3 sets of concert photos and a snowboard comp. shoot I need to finish this week

After updating Firefox and Java, Firefox gets stuck loading,will not work, and I have to use End Now to exit it.

I started to have problems after I updated Firefox and then I did a Java update, hoping this would help. Firefox will not finish loading, it gets stuck, I cannot go to websites with it, it is stuck. Then when I try to close it down, I get the message that it is not responding and I have to use" End Now". I am having to use Internet Explorer as my browser, which works fine. You can find the sync password and the sync key in the password manager on the computer where you originally created that sync account (email).

Can't get a decent background to work, and what happened to the 9+ hours visibility on cal?

So, I use my ipad strictly for school. The new iOS7 has made it extremely difficult to select my own background and get it into view. I want to take a picture of my weekly schedule and make it my background, but the iOS7 is insisting on scaling my image. iOS7 has decided that I need to be slightly zoomed in to use my picture. Why can't I use the ipad screenshot of my schedule as my background?
Plus, isn't work from 8 to 5? Or at least 9 hours counting an hour lunch? If so, and assuming that people use their calendars to be productive, why is iCal now showing only 8.5 hours and forces you to scroll down to see the afternoon? Apple, you're claiming you rethought this wonderchild, but instead you've lost practicality! Please stop trying to look like an android tablet and be smarter than your competitors!

Spry will regard the first row as a header row, thus no problem.
The second and third rows will be used as data rows, but their structure is not the same. Hence this will confuse Spry and the data will be incorrectly reflected.

Here we have got the header row, thus no problem, but the repeated is going to be a problem. This will repeat the data collected from the data table in 'index2.html', data that we know that Spry has had a problem with.
In other words, the two widgets will not co-operate with each other. A table structure is too restrictive.
You may like to have a look at using Spry's Sliding Panel or using an Accordion instead of using a table.

Arch64: really need to get Citrix ICA client 10 working (and others)

I am currently running Arch64 Voodoo on my Dell M65 notebook. It is a really great and fast distro and I am trying to make it my default distribution ....... however for my work I absolutely Must use the citrix ICA client (v10).
Unfortunately it won't install, it gives me a wrong ELF class on libxaw.so.7
I looked around in the community llib32 stuff, but it doesn't appear to be there, can anyone help me getting ICA working, I really need this and It would suck having to switch to another distro or the 686 version. There isn't a source version from ICA available so I cannot compile it myself.
On a side note I also have a minor java problem, I want to install azureus but that has a dependency to jre6 and I want to install OpenOffice.org but that has a dependency fo java-cgj-compat, does anyone have a olution for this? I already downloaded SUN's jre from their site but ofcourse the package azureus doesn't know this.

I haven't heard of these emul32 packages before, but I think what you need are the proper lib32 packages. Specifically one for libxaw. Unfortunately, one isn't available in the AUR. I took a look at some of the other lib32 PKGBUILDs and all they seem to do is download the i686 package for the corresponding library, uncompress it, and copy all the shared object files to /opt/lib32/usr/lib. With all that said, here is a PKGBUILD for lib32-libxaw.
I won't be adding this to the AUR because I don't use it & therefore don't want to maintain it, but anyone else may submit it if they choose.
Looks like this library should depend on libxmu, libxpm and libxp. The first is available in the community repo as lib32-libxmu. The other two can be downloaded from the AUR as lib32-libxpm and lib32-libxp.

Can I download ios 6 at work and distribute to all iphone users?

Here at work, we have many iPhone and iPad users, and I wanted to know if it is possible to download the new ios 6 firmware and then distribute that to all the users in our company?
I ask this because the file is so large and my network will be strained if all the users are downloading ios 6 at the same time.

iPads and iPhones have different iOS downloads, and different models also have different versions e.g. the iOS 6 download for an iPad 3 wifi is different to and iPad 3 wifi+sim card. As long as the models are the same then you can use the same download.

I can't access the sync. I couldn't get the blurry letters to work and now it won't let me go back and try again. It says my email is invalid.

The music files, were they bought from your iTunes account or did someone gift them to you after buying from the iTunes account? If they are yours you can download them again if you clear or de-authorise the ipod, it has to be done by whoever gave you the ipod to do this (the registered owner). If they were bought for you on another itunes account I don't think Apple let you use them as they are copyrighted and they don't belong to you, they belong to the person who bought them. If the music files where ripped from music cd's then click and drag them to a new folder on your desktop and have the person who gave you the ipod to de-authorise and unregister it. Then you re register it and put your files back from your desktop folder in your iTunes folder and synch. Hopefully that would work. Any files which you did not buy, I would not know how get around this, best bet is to take it to you nearest Apple Store and explain that they were gifted to you and ask how you can use them. The best way to gift music files is to buy the gift tokens and give these. Hope above helps.

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

Only developers have access to the iOS 7 beta and then also have access to the developer forum. Thus, if you are a developer go the the developer's forum.
Otherwise you have a bootleg coy of iOS 7 and are on your own.

the speakers dont show up in the setings and i really need to get them to work

First check System Preferences/Sound - check all the settings to make sure mute is not selected.
Repair permissions & restart.
Troubleshooting issues with no audio from built-in speakers on Macs
Open up GarageBand if installed then, open a program (optional).
Quit out of the GarageBand app.
