Getting Row and Column Identifiers to Show

Does anyone know how to get the row (A,B,C...) and column (1,2,3...) identifiers to show in a Numbers spreadsheet? These are visible on the Mac version but are not visible on iPad version. It seems to me to be a pretty basic spreadsheet feature to easily see how many rows are in the sheet.

I need the coordinates. eg. My table is something like this
Country Region City Value1 Value2 Value3 Total
AAAAA BBBBB XXX 10 15 30 55
EEEEE YYY 5 2 15 22
TOTAL 15 17 45 77
etc.
If the user clicks on any cell in the country column he can add countries, if he clicks on any cell in the region column, he can add regions. The behavior changes for value1, value2, value3... if he clicks in any of these columns he can add value4, value5 columns. If he clicks on the actual data, he gets another screen.

Getting row and column of an array element

Hi,
I have an array of 24 rows and 24 column giving me a total of 576 elements. How do I get the row and column of a particular element in an array in LabView. E.g. If I have to write to element 127 how do I get the column and row in which element 127 is located.

Hi Harshil,
maybe you only need to find the correct "address" of the element in your 2D array?
Use something like this:
Maybe you have to switch Row&Column output according to your numbering scheme...

Get Row and Column info from an Array Cluster

I have an array with a cluster of 2 elements (string and double). Within my application, I am using the State Machine architecture with an Event Structure. When I click on a element within the cluster array, is there a way to retrieve the row and column? I seen the Coordinates within the Mouse Down event but I don't think that will work.
Any ideas?

Can't get row or column strokes to show

I have a table that was originally a Pagemaker table back in the day. I tried to apply alternating row strokes (Table > Table Options > Alternating Row Strokes) as well as Column Strokes but the stokes don't show, the table 'blinks' when updating the preview but no strokes appear. I have tried selecting the whol table and then the proxy, adding a 4 point black stroke to all, but the first row shows the stroke only (see screenshot).
If anyone has any suggestions...

Pagemaker did not have native tables. There was the app Adobe Table which you could create a stand-alone table file, then export to place in PM. So, this file is probaly not a "table", and most likely text. But you could easily convert text to table in Indesign, and then setup your alternating rows.

InDesign Tables: Row and Column Strokes

Using InDesign Tables: How do you get row and column strokes in a table to appear perfectly joined? When I choose "Column Strokes in Front" (Under Table Setup) i still see a tiny row stroke, and vice versus.. it's really visible in the PDF almost can't see it in InDesign though you can a little...any advice?

The problem is that the letters in languages can also be characters so they can be a,b..Language over{a,b}..if characters are not in numbers I am trying convert a,b into int internally however I dont know any data structure in java which will accept character as key and int as value......

JEditorPane was designed to display HTML which may not have a great concept of row column once you start adding tables and other fancy stuff. If you only have text data then I would use a JTextArea or JTextPane, they are easier to work with.

Setup for discoverer table for showing number of Rows and columns of Report

As oracle discoverer report show "Rows 1-25 of"(Total rows) and "Column 1-6 Of"(Total Column).
This total rows and columns information's is not appearing on our reports.
Kindly let us know its setting/setups .

Hmm, what version of Discoverer are you on? Do I understand you correctly that you are able to run a Discoverer report and see this rows and columns information? What software are you running when you do this - Viewer, Plus, or Desktop? Where is this showing up - the top of the report maybe? Or maybe the bottom of the report? The only thing I can think of to handle this is the Page Setup for a workbook, and looking at the Header and Footer sections of that setup. But I am on Discoverer 10.1.2.2 and I don't see anything I can insert on the header/footer that would show this kind of information. Desktop will let you do Page x of y pages (Plus does not), but that is not what you are seeing. You can maybe look at the page setup and see if there is something there not documented in the Discoverer guides.

I am creating a data form which has both row and column formulas. I would like the row formulas to show for some of the cells but it seems to default to the column formula.
How can I get my form to show the row formula result and not the column formula result?

Whilst writing, too many instances of the coloured wheel rotating, nothoing showing on screen, suddenly whole sentences appear. Very irritating, so how can I stop this ?

About the colored wheel issue: does this happen in all applications in which you are typing? Are you doing other things in that app at the same time. For instance, if Safari is one of the problematic apps, are you also downloading at the same time? I have seen this issue a few times - very rarely - and have found that a restart usually gets things back to normal. I'm not sure if this will be a helpful workaround for you, but it has had some success.
