on db2 universal driver.....plzz tell where is the error
The most common mistake in this area is specifying the local host address of the host that is running the client (eg, embedding "localhost" in the URL), rather than the actual network address of the host that the remote server is listening on (configurable as "listen address", and reported in the server log).
As for your other questions:
The .NET doc lists the location of a debug version of the .NET client library.
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/e13746/install.htm#i1076001
In addition, there are tracing options (also mentioned in the .NET doc).

"Error Starting OMI-Server. Unable to bind socket.Permission denied. Listen
Hi All,
I Installed Forms 1o-g successfully on my mishon ( Version windows vista), when i try to connect Forms i got error
like this *"Error Starting OMI-Server. Unable to bind socket.Permission denied. Listen*
Plz Anyone help....
Thanks
sa.....Which version of Windows Vista? Bear in mind that Vista home edition is not supported by Oracle (I think for all products). If that is the case, you should be upgrading your OS to business or ultimate edition.
If that is not the case, please get in touch with Oracle support. Not much is available on internet or in forums (as you seem to have posted this in Forms forum as well). -
Hello,
I am developing a applet (client) that connects to a C server (linux) using sockets.
i have tried to grant permissions in java.policy like this:
grant{
permission java.security.AllPermission;
and this...
grant{
permission java.net.SocketPermission "10.0.0.157:1024-", "accept, connect, listen, resolve";
in my applet code i have include this:
SocketPermission p1 = new SocketPermission("10.0.0.157:1024-","accept,connect,listen, resolve");
why does the Runtime Permission Exception happen ?
please, help me.
thanks :)hi,
I too had the same problem.Just remove the accept,connect,resolve and type any one.dont use all the three.if u have grant all permission.then dont type accept,connect,listen on the code,just port address and ip address will be fine.

WebService Socket Timeout Exception before reaching timeout duration
Hi
My Server is Websphere Application Server 6.0.2.17
i got some times socket timeout exception before reach timeout duration. and also i have only default websphere settings for web service .
The exception is occurred in 19 seconds after hitting the service . i am not able to get the exact problem . because default timeout time is 300 seconds (i think like that)
Error Log
2/12/09 11:01:28:323 CET 00000f6a SystemOut O WebService Started --> Begin webservice method invocation (Method Name : getCustomerInfo(String cusID))
2/12/09 11:01:47:840 CET 00000f6d SystemOut Exception Occurred : java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Socket operation timed out before it could be completed
WebService Method Invocation Started time 11:01:28
WebService Timeout exception raised time 11:01:47
TimeoutDuration 00:00:19Hi Mark,
with synchronous messages it is important to consider timeouts from each connection to be established. So soapUI-PI, then PI-BackendSystem plus anything that might be in between. If your timeout soapUI-PI is smaller than the following ones, you'll get that phenomenon. soapUI will cut the connection, but PI will hold it and maybe receive an answer from the backend. This answer will end up in the void, since the original requester (your soapUI) has already disconnected. But for PI, this will be OK and status "successful". PI does not control and monitor the client's connection.
In other words, the cancel of the connection is only performed for that same connection, it is not propagated to any subsequent connections.
Hope that I was clear enough,

<applet code="Apple.class" width="300" height="300">
</applet>The applet should be able to connect to the host it came from but I think you
have to connect to the same port as well (not really sure about that).
You can either have the consumers of your applet set up a policy for your applet
or you sign the applet.
Signing applets:
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=63&thread=524815
second post and last post for the java class file
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=63&thread=409341
4th post explaining how to set up your own policy with your own keystore
Java security configuration (according to me):
1. Signing, good for Internet published applets. The user will be asked if he or she trusts
the applet and when yes or allways is clicked the applet can do whatever it wants. This
is the default setting of the SUN jre and can be compared with IE setting that askes the
user about downloading and running ActiveX controls from the Internet security zone.
2. Setting up a policy. Good for people who disabled asking the user about signed
applets (like companies that are worried this could cause a problem). it is possible
to provide multiple java.policy files in the java.security, a company could put a .policy file
on the Intanet and have all jre's use this by adding this URL to the java.security.
When a policy needs to be changed the admin only has to do this is the file on the
Intranet.
A specific user can have a policy in their user.home to set up personal policies (to be
done by Administrators).
A policy file can use a keystore to be used in a signed by policy. For example "applets
that are signed by SUN can access some files on my machine). It can allso be used
to identify yourselve, when making an SSL connection the keystore can be used as
the source of your public key. -

File f = new File("filename");
S.O.P(f.canRead());

Runtime r = Runtime.getRuntime();
Process p =r.exec("attrib -r file");If you are working with unix,
r.exec("chmod -permissionoptions file"); -

Regards,
Anilkumar PHi,
I was getting exactly same error. I have resolved it by putting the
<target name="enterPassword" >
<input message="Please enter Weblogic password:" addproperty="passwd">
<handler classname="org.apache.tools.ant.input.SecureInputHandler" />
</input>
in my build.xml
It means that it was not able to read password properly in bin/ant-sca-mgmt.xml
Password was the issue in my case. it is working now.
Thanks,
Arun Jadhav -

please somebody help me, this thing is due tomorrow I need help asap!First, whenever you post, there is a link for Formatting Help. This link takes you to here: http://forum.java.sun.com/features.jsp#Formatting and tells you how to use the code and /code tags so any code you post will be easily readable.
Your problem is this: ShoppingApp has a ShoppingCart and ShoppingCart is a ShoppingApp - that is ShoppingCart extends ShoppintApp. You are saying that ShoppingCart is a ShoppingApp - which probably doesn't make sense. But the problem is a child class always calls one of its parent's constructors. So when you create a ShoppingApp, the ShoppingApp constructor tries to create a ShoppingCart. The ShoppingCart calls its superclass constructor, which tries to create a ShoppingCart, which calls its superclass constructor, which tries to create a ShoppingCart, which...
It seems like ShoppingCart should not extend ShoppingApp. -

I'm using the interface (Firmware V1.24) on a D-Link DPR-1260 Print Server, connected to an Epson Printer/Scanner. When I hit the "Scan" button, I get an "uncaught exception" error. This firmware has been working for years (at least back to Firefox 3.x), but no longer works with Firefox V6.0
Nothing really, but... The firmware runs in a web browser. It's been working fine for years and no longer works since I got the latest version of Firefox. It does, however, still work in IE (V9) so I do have a way to use my existing hardware.
I tried D-Link and Google search for any information about this, but came up empty. I was hoping that there might be similar problems with other software with Firefox 6.0.2 and someone might have a work-around or there might be a patch coming soon. At the very least, someone associated with Firefox might be interested that they've apparently broken something that used to work. -
How to get only current exception message from tables
Hi
In my sceanario , I want to have the list of Current MRP exception messages list from table
I understand that MRP detailed lists, including all exception messages, are stored in transparent table MDKP and cluster table MDTC.
I can tell ABAPer to write a report for me , to read the data from these tables , but I guess these tables contain old exception message also , which are not currently appearing in MRP list
How to get only current exception message
Rgds,
sandeepSandeep,
MDTC contains only data from the most recent MRP run. So, all messages you see are those which are currently valid.
The messages might have first appeared during a previous run, but they still need to be addressed.
Before you invest a lot of time and effort into writing and debugging a custom report, you should probably try to use the standard SAP functionality found in MD06. On the Processing indicator tab, you can select "Only with new exceptions". Here you can tag a material/plant as 'processed', and thereafter, the exceptions that existed there before you tagged the part will not be re-displayed.
