Getting the acent of the language on GUI Screen?

Hi,
I have an application, which has a option to change the language of the label..
When i change the language to canadian french, the accent are not getting displayed on the screen..
Do i need a set some properties?

Hi Enrico,
The language settings are held on the user's Windows profile and not in the database. In SBO 2007A onwards there is an XML file that is created by the SBO client (previous versions stored the information in the registry). The file is called b1-current-user.xml and you'll find it in the temporary application data under the user's profile (by default this will be C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\Local Settings\Application Data\SAP\SAP Business One for Windows XP). This XML file contains a node that looks like the following:
<leaf kind="single" name="Language" type="String">
     <value>8</value>
</leaf>
where the value is the language id that should correspond to the same setting in the DI API. If your application will always run on a workstation where the SBO client is installed then you could read this XML file. Of course, this file may not exist for a particular Windows user if they have never opened the SBO client so you'd need to have a default setting.
If you application will be installed on a workstation which doesn't have an SBO client installed on it then there is no way to tell what default language to use and you'll need to build this logic in to your own application (eg have a screen where the user can choose their preferred langauge and then store this as a config file in a similar way to how the SBO client works).

You can get the devices "Language" setting by looking at the first element of the array returned by Capabilities.languages.
Unfortunately the codes returned don't seem to always match the standard naming convention for language codes.

I still need a way to determine if the user is using Canadian English, but the device seems to only have 2 English settings (English and British English).

After getting the dreaded gray/blue screen, I tried to run disk repair on the internal disk. I got an error message saying "Disk Utility can't repair this disk and restore your backed-up files. The volume Macintosh HD could not be verified completely

Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it. See below for how to clone a drive.
     1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
         with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
         After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
         a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
     2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
         button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
         After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
         size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
         partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
         and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
         (Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
     3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed
         with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
     4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
         Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
         username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
         Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
         install of OS X. You can now begin the update process by opening Software
         Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
You may be able to backup your data if you have an erased external drive you can use. Before you do the above but after you have opened Disk Utility you can try to clone your drive:
Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
1. Open Disk Utility.
2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag
       it to the Destination entry field.
5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
      the Source entry field.
6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup drive.
Now this will only work if the drive is accessible and can be cloned by Disk Utility. Otherwise, you would need to access your drive from another Mac that you can connect via Firewire - Target Disk Mode.

Just think of dynpros as windows into the global memory of your program... so if you want the value of a field on dynpro 1234 to appear on dynpro 2345, then just pop the value into a global variable (i.e. one defined in your top include), and you will be able to see it in your second dynpro (assuming you make the field formats etc the same on both screens!).

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. i am unsure what is causing your blue screen but it won't be because you are low on RAM,
RAM is seperate to your hard drive space and you will always have the same amount of RAM unless you upgrade it, if it was a problem with the amount of ram you had you would of always had those problems if that makes sence.
try booting off the Disk that came with your mac, or the recovery partition if you are on lion, then run a disk repair from there to see if that helps.

If you have to keep restoring your iPad with iTunes repeatedly and there is no change after restoring as a new iPad or not from the iPad's backup, your iPad has a major problem - likely a hardware problem. The iPad includes a one year warranty. You can call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

Reinstall OS X, either from disc or a recovery partition. You don't mention which version of OS X you're running so I don't know which it will be.

Copy an complaint.
I need some help regarding how to retrieve the users of the partner functions in crmd_order.
I need them on headerlevel.
My problem is that when an order is copied then Im not able to find the usernames to the corresponding partnerfunctions.
As the order isn't saved yet; where can I retrieve the information.
Does anyone know a FM or a badi.

Basically when you create a Order in CRM system it carries out the Determination of Transaction type and details for the same,now since the Order is not saved all the Determination is without any reference and is RAW data which the System stores in Buffer Memory.
After your Determination of all the Relevant Details,once you save the Order then the System Generates a Header GUID and it gets the Details of all the Items and Mapps the Corresponding Items to the Order no.
You will have to Save the Order for getting the Data you need
Also you may check the Order Data in FM:"CRM_ORDER_READ"
Also your Partner Functions for the Order shall Appear in "ET_PARTNER"

How to get the language of the running InDesign?

in my CS3 VB Script there is a a statement:
myParaStyle.KerningMethod = "Optical"
this code runs unter CS3 with English and German version of InDesign unchanged.
Now, with CS4, InDesign wants as parameter the strings "Optical" for Englissh, and "Optisch" for the German version.
How do I find out the language, InDesign is runnung?
P.S. Why is the parameter implementet as string and not as Identifier?

In JS you can use a locale-independent string:
myParaStyle.kerningMethod = "$ID/Optical"
Maybe it will work in VB...
