  • Passing table from ABAP to webservice using SOAP

    Hello:
    I am trying to pass table data from ABAP code to a webservice using SOAP.  I have seen many examples of passing single value parameters such as:
      DATA: osoap   TYPE REF TO CSoapDocument.
        GET REFERENCE OF p_refno INTO dref.
        CALL METHOD osoap->add_parameter
          EXPORTING
            direction  = CSoapConstants=>ic_param_in
            name       = 'ws_ref_no'
            value      = dref.
        CALL METHOD osoap->set_tag_name_format
          EXPORTING format = CSoapConstants=>ic_tagfmt_default.
    However I cannot find any code examples of passing table data to a webservice.  Can anyone provide a sample or documentation for how to pass table data to a webservice?

  • Error while testing webservice using SOAP

    Hi,
    While i was testing my published webservice using soap-ui it gave me following error,
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

    <faultstring>Internal SOAP Processing Failure</faultstring>
    <detail/>
    </soap:Fault>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    and in the event log i can see a event as follows and there is no warning or error
    Upon investigation i got to know the following steps might solve the problem..i.e..
    - Is the receive location for the SOAP webservice enabled? - YES
    - Can you browse to (the WSDL of) the webservice? Is displayed correctly? -YES
    - Is the webservice configured to run in the correct application pool? -YES
    -The user under which application pool is running have the read/write permission on the %temp% folder.-Dont Know how to check
    -In IIS,Check the identity of the application pool on which Web service is running and make sure that the user is the member of both “IIS_WPG” and “BizTalk Isolated host users”.
    -DONT Know how to check
    Please Help me in guiding me in the last two points
    and if there are any other solutions for this..
    Thanks,
    Sarva.

    You mentioned you checked that the webservice is configured under correct application pool. you can find the user under which the application pool is configured (open iis- > select application pools -> find out the "Identity column" to
    know the user for your application pool.
    -The user under which application pool is running have the read/write permission on the %temp% folder.-Dont Know how to check
    Go to run -> type "%temp%" -> Go one step back -> Right click to the folder -> Properties -> Security -> check the application pool user is present under "Group or user names"
    -In IIS,Check the identity of the application pool on which Web service is running and make sure that the user is the member of both “IIS_WPG” and “BizTalk Isolated host users”.
    -DONT Know how to check
    Refer How to Add Service Account to the IIS_WPG Group to add your application pool user under IIS_WPG. Also similar activity to add your service account to "BizTalk Isolated
    host users" if it is local groups. Or Ask your network support team if "BizTalk Isolated host users" is domain group.
    Please Help me in guiding me in the last two points
    and if there are any other solutions for this..
    Thanks,
    Sarva.
    Your event viewer might have more information pointing exactly what is causing "Internal SOAP processing failure".
    Also refer this
    which might be helpful for you.

  • Need Help: Not able to invoke fusion crm webservice using SOAP UI

    Hi,
    I am trying to invoke fusion crm webservice by using SOAP UI, but I am getting Invalid seccurity tocken exception.
    I have followed below steps specified in the oracle support document.
    In Soap UI, Go to File>Preferences ,select the "HTTP Settings' tab on the lower left panel, then select the checkbox 'Authenticate Preemtively'.
    2. From the wsdl extract the content from above wsdl between the tag/elements <dsig:X509Certificate> and </dsig:X509Certificate>
    3. Create a file called certificate.cer ( in local Drive) with above encrypted data enclosed between -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----   and -----END CERTIFICATE-----, file content shown below ( note: encrypted data
        for example
        -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
    MIICCzCCAXSgAwIBAgIETy
        -----END CERTIFICATE-----
    4. Identifiy the java.home of SOAP UI , navigation (Help – System Properties) ,example ( it may be something like D:\SOAP UI download\soapui-4.5.1\jre)
    5.  Find the location of cacert file in SOAP UI ( example D:\SOAP UI download\soapui-4.5.1\jre\lib\security\cacert)
    6. Use following keytool command to add the certificate file certificate.cer into keystore cacert , sample command given below for reference
       keytool -importcert -alias rcpt-key-alias -file "D:\certificate.cer" -keystore "D:\SOAP UI download\soapui-4.5.1\jre\lib\security\cacerts"
       at command prompt when prompted enter password as changeit
    7. Restart SOAP UI and create a new project with https version of WSDL of organizationService
    8. In SOAP UI ,  in Auth tab , provide the user name and password.
    9. Invoke the Webservice
    I have used following request XML in SOAP UI
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:typ="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/opportunities/opportunityService/types/" xmlns:opp="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/opportunities/opportunityService/" xmlns:rev="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/revenues/revenueService/" xmlns:not="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/crmCommon/notes/noteService" xmlns:not1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/crmCommon/notes/flex/noteDff/" xmlns:rev1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/oracle/apps/sales/opptyMgmt/revenues/revenueService/" xmlns:act="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/crmCommon/activities/activitiesService/" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd" xmlns:soap="soap" xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/">

    This example works fine for our Fusion Applications Cloud test instance, without any SSL setup or setting credentials on the request properties as the target service supports policy without message protection.
    Based on the your steps your service has message protection policy, so the above will not work rather you need to do additional configuration. Please check the policy on your service to confirm how the call needs to be made. Here are few links and documents:
    "How to invoke Fusion Application TCA webservice from SOAP UI (Doc ID 1496071.1)"  documents how a service with message protection can be called from SOAP UI. Your steps seem identical so presumably they are based on this document.
    "Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud Web Services (Doc ID 1354841.1)" contains information about the CRM web services including examples on the certificate import and sample payloads.
    Please provide:
    The security policies defined on the service (check the wsdl)
    The exact error message the you get

  • How to get XML file using servlets that XI sent to my J2EE appl?

    Hi All!
    I have a scenario like XI sends xml file to j2ee application. In my J2EE application my servlet receives this xml. Will the xml file be in my HTTPServletRequest object? if so how to get that file from Request object.
    Please help me its urgent, Any code help is highly appreciated.
    My xml file will be like this:
    <ns0:Http_Message_Type_Demo
    xmlns:ns0="http://abcdemo.com">
    <Name>ABC</Name>
    <RollNo>123</RollNo>
    <Address>a-4</Address>
    </ns0:Http_Message_Type_Demo>
    somebody should help me!please
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You can use HTTPServletRequest object to get the XML payload.
    BufferedReader reader = request.getReader(); //gets XML payload
    String line = reader.readLine(); // to read the XML payload line by line
    (request is the HTTPServletRequest object)

  • How to get XML value using servlet?

    how to get values from a XML file using servlet ? Thank you.
    for example: how can I get the location value (aaa) from this XML file?
    abc.xml:
    <business>
    <location>aaa</location>
    </business>

    Try to use XML Parsers to do the job.
    Use DOM or SAX Parsers that are freely available.
    Some of the popular ones are xerces, DOM, SAX.

  • Call Webservice using REST and not SOAP

    Hi, I am looking for an example of calling (invoking) a webservice from the database using PLSQL. The webservice is using REST rather than SOAP and returning XML
    I have already got examples of how to call a webservice using SOAP but not for REST

    Using Fiddler while loading your WSDL in a browser, I can see that the WSDL is using HTTP Chunked encoding. You should configure JBoss to return the WSDL without chunked encoding.

  • HTTPS post using SOAP

    All,
    I have to make a HTTPS post to an URL https://.......
    Can I do it using SOAP receiver adapter - using - "Dont Use SOAP envelope" option.
    Please advice...
    reg

    Bhavesh,
    Could you please share your thoughts on the following....
    1. Enabled SSL on JAVA engine. - can access https://server:httpsprot(50001)/index.html - but gives a warning that cerficate expired.
    2. We have messages coming from a vendor - outside our firewall. - We have not exchanged any certs or keys.
    I have configured a sender SOAP with -
    Transprot Protocol - HTTP
    Message Protocol - SOAP 1.1
    HTTPS security Level - HTTPS Without Client Authentication.
    I have generated a webservice, used SOAP UI - to send a SOAP request to XI. I can see the message in moni. The end point in the SOAP UI is -
    https://<SERVER>:<HTTPS Port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel
    Is there anything that I will have to do to accept the messages from the vendor.
    I am trying to skip the ssl enablement on ABAP engine - so using SOAP adapter.
    When tried to post some data from a webmethods server, it is giving error for some SSL certificatie. As a part of SSL enablement on JAVA, I dont think basis team did install any certificate.

  • Getting XML contents

    Can anyone tell me what is the easiest way to get XML contents using any IDE? Please send me some example code to get some ideas.
    TIA,
    A

    My apologies for not clarifying the need earlier. Here's the need:
    1. Contents of database query results in XML(can be stored in database tables)
    2. Check for validation(valid XML)
    3. Reading the contents of external DTD file before doing 1 above.
    I'm using JDev 3.1, It generates XML for the structure, but, not the contents which gets stored in the database. So, I may need to do things manually for which I asked suggestion.
    Thanks.

  • Using SOAP to access middleware webservice

    URL SOAPUrl = new URL(url);
              SOAPConnection con = SOAPConnectionFactory.newInstance().createConnection();
              ByteArrayInputStream stream = new ByteArrayInputStream(xml.getBytes());
              SOAPMessage message = MessageFactory.newInstance().createMessage(null,stream);
              SOAPMessage reply = con.call(message,SOAPUrl);I am using the above mentioned code to send a SOAP message object to a middleware webservice.
    But im getting the following exception:
    javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: org.xml.sax.SAXException: WSWS3357E: Error: operation description is missing parameter description.
         at com.ibm.ws.webservices.engine.soap.SOAPConnectionImpl.call(SOAPConnectionImpl.java:115)Could anyone suggest me the reason for this and an apt solution?

    Hi Paul
    I have access to all the documents (JavaScript via Mozilla, Adobe JavaScript API, XFA API etc etc) but none are specific enough to cater for this issue.  I will work this out before too long but it would be very useful if someone who had done this already could shortcut my journey!

  • Want to get xml file from external webservice

    hello experts,
    I have to call a webservice only by call a url and get back a xml file as response. I´ll create the complete url with a mapping and tried to call the webservice with http and soap adapter but it doesn´t work. The url is correct and works with my browser.
    https://sh.de.xxxxxxxx.net:443/extranet/levels/?group=Administrator&user=esco&pass=e2999a4f79804301f1134fadb6e0fc2d&salt=1222877335158
    What should I do?
    many thanks for help
    Ulf

    Hi,
    Try following steps:
    1) Ensure that you are having the correct Webservice with you.
    2) Create your IR objects depending on the Webservice that you have (the one which you need to call).
    3) If you are using a HTTP Test Client to send the request then you need not mention any URL there...you just need to give the Sender namespace and Sender Message Interface Name....since you want the response back use QoS as BE...also ensure that other requierd details are correct.
    4) Now since you are using SOAP communication channel at your Receiver side you need to enter a Target URl in the SOAP Channel......now open the Webservice (the one which you need to call)....in this Webservice there will be a field
    <soap:address location="http://xyz......"/>
    copy the contents (http://xyz......) from here and paste it in the Target URL field of your SOAP Channel.
    Now you are ready to test your scenario.
    Regarding your other Qs:
    is the soap receiver adapter correct for this scenario? <<Yes>>
    I only have the response xml structure but not as file and no request structure.<<You said that you have created the necessary mappings, so you can enter the required data in the Test Tab of your Message mapping....copy the data into your HTTP client and do the testing>>
    how do I get the url from my mapping as url for a request? <<no need for a URL....where will you use it??>>
    do I have to create a new wsdl for this? <<no>>
    revert back if you have any queries.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • XML over HTTP using BPEL (not using SOAP)... is this possible?

    Hi there.
    We're trying to expose a BPEL process which will be exclusively triggered from a HTTP POST. The Client Partner Link in the BPEL process models Oracle's Transparent PunchOut standard. This standard is strict XML-over-HTTP, SOAP is not involved.
    However, I am getting issues when I POST the XML to BPEL. It is telling me that it requires a SOAPAction in the header. Again, the design dictates that this is raw XML over HTTP, so we are not to use any SOAP specific header values nor any kind of SOAP wrapper.
    I deployed the sample 'HTTPPostService' process which was delivered with BPEL. I am seeing the same error when I try to POST XML to this process as well. I get a response (in a SOAP wrapper) saying that it wants a SOAPAction in the header. The WSDL used to create this sample process clearly does not bind to SOAP, (there are no mentions of the SOAPAction in the operation, etc) so I do not understand.
    So, my question is: Is is possible to POST raw XML to a BPEL process? Or does BPEL require all processes to follow the SOAP 'protocol' ?
    Thanks for any help.

    I am also trying to do the same stuff. If i deploy the sample application HttpGetService, will i be able to send the request from browser the way we send typical http get request?
    here is the url which i want to use to invoke Http get BPEL
    http://cybage1:9700/httpbinding/default/HTTPGetService?ssn=10&id=20
    but i am getting following exception

  • Webservices using xmlrpc which uses javax.xml package

    Hi
    Can any one Tell me how to write a Webservice using xmlrpc
    but which doesnt have org.apache or either helma package or jars
    I need to achieve it using j2ee jars
    eg: javax.xml.rpc
    I dont want SOAP to be involved in it.....
    Can any one tell me the useful links or sample code related to this topic
    Thank you
    Geetanjalee

    HI Geetanjale,
    If you aren't going to use SOAP as your message exchange protocol, then you can't do it with WS.
    Cheers

  • Getting ORA-22805 when trying to load XML file using SQLLDR

    I'm trying to learn the basics of XML since we'll be getting XML files in the near future. I'm using one of the sample schemas that comes with XMLSPY. I loaded this schema into an 11g Oracle DB using XMLSPY:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!-- edited with XML Spy v4.0 NT beta 1 build Jun 13 2001 (http://www.xmlspy.com) by Alexander Falk (Altova, Inc.) -->
    <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:ipo="http://www.altova.com/IPO" targetNamespace="http://www.altova.com/IPO" elementFormDefault="unqualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
         <annotation>
              <documentation>
    International Purchase order schema for Example.com
    Copyright 2000 Example.com. All rights reserved.
    </documentation>
         </annotation>
         <!-- include address constructs -->
         <include schemaLocation="address.xsd"/>
         <element name="purchaseOrder" type="ipo:PurchaseOrderType"/>
         <element name="comment" type="string"/>
         <complexType name="PurchaseOrderType">
              <sequence>
                   <element name="shipTo" type="ipo:Address"/>
                   <element name="billTo" type="ipo:Address"/>
                   <element ref="ipo:comment" minOccurs="0"/>
                   <element name="Items" type="ipo:Items"/>
              </sequence>
              <attribute name="orderDate" type="date"/>
         </complexType>
         <complexType name="Items">
              <sequence>
                   <element name="item" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded">
                        <complexType>
                             <sequence>
                                  <element name="productName" type="string"/>
                                  <element name="quantity">
                                       <simpleType>
                                            <restriction base="positiveInteger">
                                                 <maxExclusive value="100"/>
                                            </restriction>
                                       </simpleType>
                                  </element>
                                  <element name="price" type="decimal"/>
                                  <element ref="ipo:comment" minOccurs="0"/>
                                  <element name="shipDate" type="date" minOccurs="0"/>
                             </sequence>
                             <attribute name="partNum" type="ipo:Sku"/>
                        </complexType>
                   </element>
              </sequence>
         </complexType>
         <simpleType name="Sku">
              <restriction base="string">
                   <pattern value="\d{3}-[A-Z]{2}"/>
              </restriction>
         </simpleType>
    </schema>
    Then I created an XMLType table:
    CREATE TABLE purchaseOrder OF XMLType
    XMLSCHEMA "ipo.xsd" ELEMENT "purchaseOrder"
    I'm trying to load the sample XML file ipo.xml into purchaseOrder using SQLLDR. This is ipo.xml:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>

    This is what's in the control file:
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE *
    INTO TABLE purchaseOrder TRUNCATE
    xmltype(xmldata)
    FIELDS
    xmldata LOBFILE (CONSTANT ipo.xml)
    BEGINDATA
    0
    The load fails with:
    Record 1: Rejected - Error on table PURCHASEORDER.
    ORA-22805: cannot insert NULL object into object tables or nested tables
    Another question I have is, how do we know how many records (0's) to specify in the control file? In this case there's only one but when real files are used we won't know how many are in the file.
    Thanks for your help!

    The concept was "Don't use SQL*Loader to parse XML".
    You can use SQL*Loader to load an entire XML document into the DB. That is fine. You can do the same via BFILENAME to read in files from disk as well.
    If you want to parse XML, do that from within Oracle via PL/SQL and/or SQL. The solution depends upon your version of Oracle and what is good enough for you in terms of performance.
    So the basics are
    a) How am I getting the information?
    b) How am I getting in into Oracle?
    c) How do I want to parse it?
    As I see the schema, it only allows for one ipo:purchaseOrder node in the document, since that is the root node. If you have multiple in the incoming file, you no longer have valid XML, both per the schema and because you have no single root node. You have an XML fragment, which must be treated different.
    Just trying to understand the question since I now realize it does not agree with what the schema in your initial example shows.
