GettingRuntime Error: change w/o enhancem

Hi All,
Actually I am Beginner to ABAP.
Issue: When Executing my first program in runtime it is showing the error:
operation Id: Change w/o Enhancem Line num:21 (which is the write statement in my program)
Example:
DATA A TYPE I VALUE 20.
DATA B TYPE I VALUE 10.
DATA C TYPE I.
C = A + B.
WRITE C.
so this is my simple program i am trying it out, but unfortunately in runtime its throwing the error which i mentioned above and
pointing the write statement.
actually i have tried in different ways of write statement like:
WRITE / 'The sum is', C. or WRITE: / ' THE SUM IS' , C.
[* Actually i have tried the same program in one of my friend system, it's worked]
So even though that error is coming.So what might be the problem for that ? please reply for my query.
2) one more issue: Only Black text is set for font for my code., I want my font should be changed according to the SAP predefined key words,and differentiate with user defined statements, so that i can easily come to know while hard coding.
So is there any settings, for that to change?

1)Sorry Sandra, i.e by mistake instead of click on execute icon (F8) i pressed navigation icon so that causes & pointing on last line(write statement). So i realized when i have re executed the program sequentially.
2)for Editor,I have gone thru the steps which you mentioned, thanks for that.Now i am able to work on ABAP New editor.

Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 domain join displays error "Changing the Primary Domain DNS name of this computer to "" failed...."

Domain functional level:Windows Server 2003
When Winxp join domain, have no this error message.
I checked http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2018583?wa=wsignin1.0 does't work.
There have 3 suggestion in this article:
1.The "Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" checkbox has been disabled in the IPv4 properties of the computer being joined.
Doesnt's work.
2.Connectivity over UDP port 137 is blocked between client and the helper DC servicing the join operation in the target domain.
On my DC, I run netstat -an, reslut as below:
UDP 192.168.20.3:137 *:*
3.The TCP/IPv4 protocol has been disabled so that the client being joined or the DC in the destination domain targeted by the LDAP BIND is running TCP/IPv6 only.
We are not using IPV6.
This server recently updated from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2. Before upgrade, when Win7 and Win2008 join this domain, also have the same error message.
Please help to check this issue.

Hi Guo Ying,
I have faced this critical error which makes over-writes the host names in the domain when you join.
For example: Already you had a host name called as PC.domain.com in the domain.com Domain.
When you try to add the another host name called as PC in the domain.com Domain, it doesn't give you the duplicate name error on the network it does over-write the existing host name called as PC.domain.com & it will add the new host name into the domain.
Host name which got over-written will get removed from the domain. I faced this issue in my project. My DPM host name got removed from the Domain & new host name got joined into the domain which halted my backups for one day.
Final Resolution is as follows:
You need to start the dns console on the DC & drop down the domain name.
Select the _msdcs when you click on _msdcs it will show the Name Server's list on the right hand side.
You need to add the Domain Naming Master under the _msdcs or add all the domain controllers which you had.
After you add the Name server's try joining the PC OR Laptop to the domain which is successfully joins it.

Lightroom CC: cannot create library: error changing modules

Hi, I cannot create a Library in Lightroom due to the following error. "an error occurred when attempting to change modules". I am getting no where with customer service.

Bacgflush error: Change REM profile

Hi Gurus,
I have tried to backflush a part number. I get this error:
'Changed REM Profile regarding generation of postprocessing records'.
From my knowledge we didn't chnge the REM profile and product cost collecter is also avilable.
Please help to resolve the error.

Check whether did you make any config changes in the REM profile in OSP2 or else assigned some other REM profile which
allows reprocessing.
In my understanding if already some reprocessing exists for that material in MF47,and if you try to change the REM profile and
try to backflush,this will give this error.
Check and correct me if i 'm wrong.

Error changing modules - please please help!!

Okay, I'd be really grateful of any input here. I am on an imac, running leopard 10.5.5.
I have and love CS3. I've previously ran Lightroom 1 on a PC. when I changed over to a mac, I attempted to run lightroom 1 on it. it wouldnt run - up came the error changing modules message. a little web browsing led me to think that was because I was running such a new OS. so I left it, {trashed the install} until I got this lightroom 2.
ligthroom 2 will not run, I get to upload the software, but the screen is just the black background, no full menus and the error message ALL the time I click anything.
I've been working my way thro the troubleshooting here, and deleted the com.lists. trashed the uploda dn reinstalled. still the errors. I've finally got it uploaded on a test user name, logging myself out. however, I cannot copy or drag, or access the correctly running version once back in my 'real'user name. I have tried deleting the correct upload afterwards. . nope.
I have tried so much I'm really losing heart.
I'm totally sure that somehow uploading or attempting to upload the lightroom 1 has somehow caused this.
what do you think?

many thanks JOhn, last night, I copied all the module folders from the working version on a different user name and put them in the {empty} modules folder {in application support/adobe/lightroom} under my name. this made the full screen of library light up, have full menus and I got very excited I'd fixed it. sadly I hadnt, when I attempted to change to slideshow or any of the other options up popped the error message again. :( I'm now off to see if I can find this .lock file.
can you tell me how to find it? where is it ? my apologies for being a little dim here, I'm way outa my depth already...

Database error changing table ADR2 - Inbound IDOC Create Order

Hi experts,
I have a backgroud job for program RBDAPP01 to process inbound IDOC message type OILLDD. It woked perfectly for years. Few days ago, the job got short dump and cancelled. In Error log, it shows error MESSAGE_TYPE_X Database error changing table ADR2 in function module ADDR_SAVE_INTERN.
I already try to activate trace log to see sql statement but still couldn't find anything suspicious. Have anyone been through this problem before? Please suggest.

We have a standard job HRALXSYNC which runs in banckground everyday. The job is getting failed everyday with the error 'Database error changing table ADR6'. Has anyone faced this issue before. Is it being caused by inconsistent data in ADR6 table? Or is it throwing this error due to some other reasons ? Kindly post your responses. I would appreciate your help.

    After the step: choose typical/custom ,error occured:change user/install error (originally result should be "log you off"and restart the sapinst)
    My operation system is Windows2003 64bit.
    My jdk version is 1.4.2.13
    I had to restart the install with BS_2005_SR2_SAP_Installation_Master,SR2. everything goes well !!!!!
    And when i use the Solution_manager_7.0_installtion_master,which based on BS_2005_SR3,it got the same error:change user/install error.
    Did anybody else have came across the same situation? I believed it is a common problem with the version SR3!
    any suggest will be much appreciated!!

SolMan 4.0 SR2 Step 30 Password Not Allowed Error Changing DDIC Pwd

I'm on Step 30 of my SOLMAN install. SAPInst is trying to change the DDIC.000 password and gets the error, "PASSWORD_NOT_ALLOWED". DDIC can connect to the RFC just fine. I went in through the client and changed DDIC and SAP* passwords back to the default numeric values.
I did notice that in sapinst_dev.log there were these lines ...

where it looks like the DDIC passwords are being set to "". I know that when you log in, a blank pwd isn't allowed. Does this setting make it revert to the std numeric one or is it telling me that a blank pwd isn't allowed? Is there a way to change this?

Hi Ruchit,
I never set or entered a password for DDIC, but I did logon as sap* and change it to the default, 19920706. This allowed me to get past a previous step in the installation.
No, DDIC is not locked. It is able to connect but it seems like the password that it wants to change to isn't right. Is it trying to change it to "PASS"? The logon client demands at least 6 characters.

Hello. I've just purchased a lot of adobe software, cs5 Production Premium and Lightroom 3. Now adobe has loaded on fine and is working, but lightroom, asks for my serial number which i enter and then continues to try open, only to come up with the frequently common issue of errors with changing modules.
Now i have only just brought a new Imac this week as well, so i have no idea how to get around it yet and from other discussions on the forum i am so confused and have no idea how to find all the files for the software.
I've deleted and reinstalled now around 9 times, even tried installing it on my external hard drive which had the same thing happen. It works fine from my guest account, but i don't want to access it all the time in there as i have nik software which i need to use through it and every time i go to use nik i have to enter my product codes, which don't seem to save as it is a guest account.
Please help, i have about 3 shoots of images i need to go through, i swapped over from my pc with cs2 on it for this software only to have these issues. I am useless as to how to even move about on the mac yet so i really need step by step instructions i am that bad!!

It is some kind of permissions issue, and weirdly it often seems to be linked to Nik software. I wonder if Nik's putting a file there with different permissions - did you install Nik first, by any chance?
Anyway, to fix, you can just copy the files over from the other account. Copy the folder from the guest account after you've entered your serial number in LR3 in the guest account. You might need to transfer them to another shared location temporarily.
From memory, primary folder to transfer is Macintosh HD / Users / [username] / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Lightroom /
Give that a shot and see if it does the trick.

PSE8 Error changing date & time

I scan in a lot of old family photos and then change the date to the date the photo was taken so it appears in order in the Organizer. Since upgrading to Win 7 64-bit, I get errors most of the time when I attempt to change the date and time, but sometimes I get lucky and the date change takes. Occasionally the file in the catalog gets unlinked from the original. I've also noticed that my recycle bin has copies of failed attempts. I tried removing and reloading PSE8, but no change. Never a problem with PSE7.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem, and, if so, found a solution/

John - i think the problem is resolved . It wasn't the audto functions within Adobe, but an automatic backup of files by Acronis. Your suggestions made me think of other 'monitoring' software, and I when I turned this off, I stopped getting the error. I've renamed five files in a row without a problem. I also took your adivce and am keeping off the PSE monitoring functions as well.

Data errors/changes in unicode database Once all code is unicode compliant

This is regarding unicode project.
We have currently made all the programs unicode complaint
and the database we are using is not unicode database.
We are moving now the entire code to the Unicode database system.
1>Could anyone tell what kind of data errors that might be encountered due to this new database system.
2>What kind of data changes regarding the format/data we might observe in the output files generated.
Any expertise and experiences in the similar upgradation will be very helpful..

each code page encodes characters into a binary representation. ASCII is may be the best known. It encode 128 characters with seven bits. The first 32 characters are control characters for printers and terminals like carriage return and bell. Then there are some special characters like Space and Comma followed by digits and the characters of the roman alphabet in upper case and lower case representation. Unicode is another code page which is defined in unicode standard documentation. Because unicode characters are wider than one byte (the current standard contains almost 100.000 characters) there are different encoding used in applications. The most used encoding is probably UTF-8 which is used by DB2 and Oracle. MaxDB uses UTF-16 which uses much more space for most used characters. Languages use characters from a code page to build words. You may have multiple code pages in one system (MDMP) or a unicode system which supports all languages on a single code page.

Error changing work status in EPM Addin

    I'm trying to change the working status for a category and a specific period.
    However in doing so the system is generating error
    Failed in checking status in control
    Failed or unexecuted control sets exist in your data region
    I'm doing this from Excel client, option EPM tab, save data, change work status.
    Working state has already configured in the Web Administrator
    That I can do to fix this error?

According to what the 1795953 note says and thread sent by Dinesh,
the problem is some of the Entity members are not part of the Group selection on Ownership settings. This is the configuration that I have for the entity
    I'm trying to change the work status for the item Org_so, who is the parent of the other.
    I have another question, what is the relationship between the controls and work status,
    if controls have not been executed you can not change work status?
