    From what I've read if you bought your iPhone from the Apple online store, you can get a $200 credit or refund. However, if you bought your phone through AT&T, you're pretty much screwed. And that really adds an extra layer of insult to this injury.
    When AT&T was Cingular, they would offer binding arbitration and pay for it whether they won or not. I have no idea if AT&T still holds true to that offer, but if they do, it should just take a letter to a specific address to start the wheels in motion. Hopefully it will be cheaper for AT&T to give you your money back.
    I bought my iPhone 19 days ago. AT&T claims a 30 day refund as written on the back of their receipts, but iPhone related paperwork specifically claims only a 14 day return policy on the iPhone. The point is, the conflicting claims bolsters a case against them.
    Keep calling Apple and AT&T. You're only guaranteed nothing if you don't.

    Do a full reset.
    Set the TC name and wireless name to SMB standard.. short, no spaces.. pure alphanumeric.
    Use WPA2 Personal security.. 8-12 character passkey pure alphanumeric.
    Set the wireless channels fixed to 1, 6, or 11 for 2.4ghz. 5ghz doesn't matter too much.
    You will need to reset the airport extreme to match the new TC values.
    This generally works.

  • Most of the time when i click my magic mouse on an item it gives me options like back, open new page, etc.

    When I try to use my magic mouse, most of the time it won't open an item but instead will give me options like: back, open new page, open link in new window, and I am actually on top of for instance, the comment field in facebook...It takes several attempts of clicking off the entire page to get it to just open the link or respond appropriately...

    the mouse performs a right click instead of a left click. Check your mouse preferences in the system settings.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

    and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. If you don't receive even the automated acknowledgement of your submission, check any anti-spam filters to make sure that messages from Apple are not being blocked.

    We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
    What have you tried to fix it ? Have you tried closing the Videos app via the iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if it plays properly when you re-open then app ? Have you tried a soft-reset of your iPad ? If neither of those fix it then are you in a country where films can be redownloaded (assuming that it's not a rental) ? If you are then delete it from the Videos app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
    If you can't redownload it (e.g. if it's a rental) then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

    My wife and I went to the Verizon store to purchase her an iPhone 6+.  We were told of this great promotion to receive $200 back and the iPhone 6 was $199.  Great deal, we thought!  I bought an iPhone 6 and my wife an iPhone 6+.  We were told that we would get the rebate when Verizon received  our phones.  I got my phone and went online to print the return label.  My wife iPhone 6+ hasn't shipped yet.  I found out that the promotion ended yesterday and that I should have printed the label before that time.  We lost out on the rebate.  What a scam!  I went to the store and was told that it's the customer’s responsibility to follow up and that all of their sales reps were trained to ensure the process was understood.  We left the store believing that we would have 14 days to return our phones.  This would never have happened if we received written instructions.  It was the stores responsibility to ENSURE that the customer received the correct procedure information.  Obviously a scam on Verizon's part! Is this the stores issue or Verizon's? How can we get our rebate?

    That is not what my trade in disclaimer said at all...  You had to PURCHASE an iphone 6 by 10/15.  But you have seven days to send the device back after receiving it...
    How could I send my iphone in before I received the new one?  I would have no cell phone for a month because it was on back order.
    This is the email I received after submitting my order:

  • How to get your $200 back from the price drop.

    Many of you likely paid with a credit card and many of the credit card companies have a price protection policy. I know american express and some mastercards do. Basically if you buy a product and the price goes down within 60 or 90 days depending on the credit card company, you get back the price difference. I know for mastercard they will refund up to $250. Try that out.

    I just got off the phone with my credit card company (ATT Universal) and they have confirmed that they do indeed honor "retail purchase protection." If you have purchased an item and the merchant drops the price within 60 days, then you can obtain a refund of up to $250.
    To all of us jilted Apple-lovers, I would suggest this course of action to resolve if possible. It's one thing to have a lone customer whining to an assistant manager of an Apple store, it's another thing to have a room full of lawyers for credit card companies in an Apple board room asking Apple how it plans to resolve the large numbers of refunds that the credit card companies were forced to pay out.

Since the split, I purchased a new notebook, installed iTunes (under a new account), proceeded to upload "our" music collection (of about 13,000+ songs) from a backup I made. Everything went cool until I tried playing a track...it said my computer is not authorized to play this song, blah blah blah...Well...the soon-to-be-ex went and changed the password to "our" account and won't give me the password!     Ask her for the password. Then you can play the purchases and burn audio CDs of them. Then she can change the password later, and you can at least listen use your audio CDs.
    Wow, I hope you didn't purchase 13K tracks at itunes! Cuz that is a lot of CDs.

  • Verizon won't give me my money back!!

    On December 30, 2011, Verizon pulled two payments from my checking account.  This overdrew my account.  Now, they are telling me in order to get my money back I have to wait ten BUSINESS days for some odd reason, or to EXPEDITE the return of MY money, I would have to send them a copy of my bank statement showing I am no longer overdrawn.  The reason they told me they need my bank statement is because "banks won't take money from outside sources if you're overdrawn".  In whose universe is that correct?  I'm not going to get my overdraft fee, I've already been told that, and I am supposed to get my money back on January 18.  A full 20 days after Verizon overdrew me.  They are also not going to refund the whole amount.  Only the amount that's left over after I pay a bill that isn't even due yet.  I cannot believe that a company would actually hold someone's money for that long, especially after they've been informed (at least three times) they overdrew me.  How long would they wait if my payment was sent back due to insufficient funds????  The story I'm being given is there is an "offline team" that takes care of these things and NO ONE has the number for them.  It all has to be done with forms.  I guess it's time to start lookiing for a new provider even though I never had an issue with Verizon until now. 

    Verizon required me to place a deposit on my account saying I'd get it back within 6 months of service. It's been over two years and I still haven't be given it back. I've called and can't get an honest response; I get transferred to different departments who say different things. I contacted the BBB about this and Verizon said that unless my payment history is crystal perfect including advance payments they don't have to return it. I found out this information after complaining to the BBB, if this was their policy they never told me about it. I'd switch to a different provider but I doubt I'd get my deposit back because Verizon is basically holding it hostage so I stay with them. I wouldn't doubt that the "positive" feedback you're getting is in fact Verizon moonlighting as actual customers who are giddy about Verizon.
    Verizon did to a family member when we switched to "friends and family" what they are doing to you. Verizon overdrew over $500 bucks from the initial payment after the service was set up. They never gave it back and only sent rebates that didn't equal what they withdrew. This was of course acting ignorant to what they did. I love the fact that they say that those who make the decisions to remedy their mistakes which Verizon will never admit to are in fact, people you can't reach in anyway whatsoever. It's like some kind of hidden death panel if it even exists.

    I created a list and added a couple test items to verify that everything was working correctly.
    I'm using the ID number (which SharePoint automatically creates for every item in a list), so for example, SharePoint set the first test item to have an ID of "1" and the second to have an ID of "2."
    I've deleted the two test items, but ID of next item will be "3."
    Is there anyway to reset that counter back to "1" right before I take the list live--even if it's just a one time reset?

    You cannot reference the ID of a row for a newly inserted row in the calculated column. The ID does not yet exist when the calculation is performed.
