GL Account make default

Hi,
Suppose I am creating a PR for material which dnt have a material code and that is for direct consumption.
I will put the Account Assignment category as 'k'.
Then I will give the G/L accounts and cost center in item details .
Suppose business is posting every non stock items in one GL account .
Then whether we can make the GL account by default there?
Otherwise the PR generator have to assign the GL accounts everytime.

You are Partially Correct.
One more thing need to be Done.
Under Purachsing>>Material Master>> Entry Aids for items Without a Material Master under this Maintain The Valuation Class against the Material group.
Then When Creating a PO ,U will maintain Material Group At that eime G/L will be Picked Automatically.Othere Wise it won't

1. Sales order for a configurable parent item is created in ERP & order BOM is changed & transferred to APO. In APO MRP run takes place for that parent item, which creates a planned order with account assignment category "M" (M:Individual Customer w/o KD-CO.
2. Now based on the dependant requirement generated for parent item, MRP takes place for one of the child item in ERP & purchase requisition gets created for child item.
Question:
1. Can anybody help me how i can make default account assignment as "F" (F:Order) in the planned order of parent item?
2. PR created for child item also has default account assignment category as "M". we wish to change that to "F".

The account assignment category maintained in the requirement class for parent item is 'M'.
No account assignment category maintained has been maintained in the requirement class Semi-finished component (this component is sent for subcontracting).
The business process is as follows:
1. Create Sales Order for Parent say ME_PARENT.
2. Order BOM for ME_PARENT is created and subsequently cifed to APO.
3. PP/DS heuristic is run for ME_PARENT.
4. MRP for component ME_COMP is run in ERP.
It can be seen that purchase requistion for ME_COMP has a/c assgn category as 'M'. It seems that the ME_COMP has inherited 'M' from ME_PARENT.
We would like to have no a/c assgn category for ME_COMP.
Any pointers?

Is FF downloading the file as a .txt file? If so, go to "Folder Options" in the windows control panel. Click on the "File Types" tab. Scroll down until you reach the TXT file extension. Look to see what that extension opens with (lower part of panel). It probably shows notepad. Click on the <Change> button. Scroll down until you find "Microsoft Word." Select it and click the <OK> button. That should show the TXT extension is now associated with Microsoft Word. Click the <Close> button at the bottom of the panel.
If FF is downloading the file as any other type, use the same process as above except look for the corresponding extension instead. If the extension is not listed click on the <New> button and create an association using the extension in the file name and then associate it with MS Word.

G/L account not defaulting in PO for UNBW material.

Hi,
Customer requirement is to populate a G/L account for a non-valuated material (Mat type:UNBW) in PO for account assignment category K (Cost center). There is no accounting view for the material we used in PO.
Following steps were done :
1) Valuation class is maintained for the material group in SPRO
2) OBYC settings are done .i.e. Under GBB-> VBR -> Valuation class is assigned to a G/L account
Account assigned PO is created for that material. Account assignment category is K and Material group is also given in PO for which valuation class is already assigned.
Even though all the settings were made, G/L account is not picked in the PO. Could you please help us

Thanks for the reply. G/L account is getting defaulted even without accounting View in Material master for UNBW material (even with material master data). There was a valuation grouping code mismatch ealier, which we fixed and then the G/L account started defaulting. But there is a new problem now. G/L account is defaulting only in the Development client. This is not appearing in the test client. We checked the configurations, transports etcc and everything appears to be okie and configurations are very similar as that in the development client. Is there anything that we need to specifically check or do while transporting this ?

Hi Bhakta,
As Vijay said you have maintain quality maangement view and in the inspection data tab maintain the inspection type 01 "incoming inspection for GR of purchased orders and activate this by activating the checl BOX in the right side" and activate the check box "post to ispection lot" in the same tab.
By doing this the total lot of posted GR will be moved to quality inspection with a unique quality inspection lot number.

How to make default personalization options for users

Hi all,
How can I make default personalization options for users, so that those will the default options when the user opens the portal BSP applications. Those will be the standard, at later point of time if they want they can personlalize some other fields, but earlier fields will be the default fields and user cant be able to change them.

Hi Murthy,
If you use IMG (crmc_blueprint_c) to customize PCUI appl than you can use the personalization feature. If you select 'Not in List' in the IMG for the field in the fieldgroup structure, than this field by default will not be viewable in the List View and will not be checked as 'Visible' in the Personilzation link. So by not selecting 'Not in List' you are giving that field to be viewable and all other fields are available for users to personalize by default.
If you have maintained the 'List View' using the CRM Designer, than most likely you would lose the above feature, as SAP Standard code considers the CRM Designer as high level of customization.

Hi,
GL Account can be made as recon account only when its balance is ZERO (No transaction data has been posted). In your case,
1. Either reverse the transaction and make balance to ZERO
or
2. Make new GL Account with correct settings and transfer the OLD to NEW Account.

In PBO, within a LOOP, table control is filled via a Structure/Work Area.
In that module, code as follows,
LOOP AT SCREEN.
    IF WA-FIELD1 = C_1 AND SCREEN-GROUP1 = C_G1.
      SCREEN-INPUT = 0.
      MODIFY SCREEN.
    ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
Here, WA is a strcture & FIELD1 is its field, like that...
I already did this.
