GL Interface - Control totals 11i

Is it possible to load the control total (which appears at the batch header level) via the interface tables? I am not able to find any documentation on this.

Can you try to use to_char for Interface run id as shown below

Control totals

Dear SAP Experts,
Is is possible to send email to bank with control total amounts with (or seperate) our EDI 820 file of payment run. How can we make it possible, will it be manual or automatic procedure.

see u have to create two mapping for ur scenario.the first one is the usual mapping u have for EDI(guess this must be inbuilt if ur using seeburger)
then create second mapping which will have only one files <Total>
now create a interface mapping for this too.
now if bank is outside ur landscape then u can't use Mail adapter,u have to use either FTP or HTTP,or SOAP etc.(u have to ask the bank in this regard as to what will be most suited for them,suppose the choose HTTP)
now create a receive CC using HTTP adapter and configure it so that its pointing to the bank's URL.
now create a receiver agreement for this too,in receiver determination,u will have two entries,one for the normal EDI using the EDI mapping and the second for the Total filed using the mapping u created in IR.
u need to create interface mapping for this too.
activate ur scenario and it will work.but before that as i said,u need to consult with bank as to in what format they want the total to be delivered.

Payment Run Control Totals

Dear SAP Friends,
After doing the payment run for more than one company codes, payment methods, vendors.
In which table and field I could find the total of all payments to send the control total file to Bank.
We are creating EDI820 file for all the payment details and EDI831 for control totals to bank.

Table: PAYR: Payment Medium File (gives details of check generated)

Help! Unreconciled Stopped Payment affecting Control Totals

All,
I have an issue in Oracle Cash Management (Bank Recon) where a stopped payment was reconciled which created a Receipt Line and updated the Amount in the Line Totals. This created an imbalance between the Control Totals and the Line Totals, so the line was unreconciled. However, this did NOT update the Line totals and that Receipts line is still there. How can I remove this line?

Dreamweaver user interface controls appear small and hard-to-read on high-density displays.

I have 3840x2160, 24" display and many of the user interface controls are small, hard to read and in some cases are cut off.
I see this issue existed with Photoshop and Adobe introduced a "Introducing scale the UI 200% for high-density displays for Windows" under "Experimental Features"

However I don't see this option available in Dreamweaver? Is there another work around?

Wow, 4K resolution within a 24" space. You need a 200% increase in UI size just to work, I would think. Can you post a screenshot of the issue? I would like to see that. ;-)
With the changes the Dw team have made to the UI over the last few releases, and with the latest Workspaces, it almost feels like 720p is the main focus, or like the only Dw users that matter are on small Macbooks, with very limited screen real estate. I can still work on my laptop when I'm out of the office (17" at 1920x1080 on Windows 8.1), but the icons and controls are pretty small. Even with the added screen real estate, and the fact that the UI is still intact, I'd hate to have to use it for extended periods.

Error in defining interface control - WM interface

Hi All
I am trying to link the WM system with an external system using transaction OMKY. When trying to define the interface control, with source storage type as *** and Destination Storage type 015, I am getting an error "Relationship between masked storage types must first be defined". Where do I define this relationship?

Hi dilip,
Declare in the Import tab in the global definitions:
t_vbrk type y_ty_vbrk.
t_vbrp type y_ty_vbrp.
Create the table types for these two parameters (t_ vbrk and t_vbrp) in se11.
In the driver program declare:
fs_vbrk LIKE LINE OF t_vbrk,
fs_vbrp LIKE LINE OF t_vbrp.

Unfotunately, I have already been awared of that solution. I am looking for a way to control the e-mail adderess without creating conditions.
I found the way to control the fax number using enhancement VN000001 function EXIT_SAPLV61B_001.
I did not find such a way for the e-mail address.
If you know of such way I would be glad to learn about it.

Getting control totals for all the objects

1. I want to get the control totals for all the tables along with table names in Oracle
the below I google and found, but I am not aware of xml in Oracle, I tested this on small scott db it works fine

This I can get it from user_views ( but I want for entire database excluding system views and only user created views)

I am not sure how to get this.

Be aware of the statement "Some columns in these views contain statistics that are generated by the DBMS_STATS package or ANALYZE statement."
See this page specially "Columns marked with an asterisk (*) are populated only if you collect statistics on the table with the ANALYZE statement or the DBMS_STATS package."

If your statistic is not updated, it can give you totally wrong impression.

Controlling Totals in Report Calcs

I am using Hyperion Intelligence Explorer v8.5 but have had the same question with earlier versions. In pivots, calculated columns sometimes calculate on totals, and sometimes totals summ the calculated line. For example, if column C is the ratio of column B / column A, sometimes adding totals gives me the ratio of the totals and sometimes I get the sum of the ratios. The answers can be very different. How does one control which way it will work?

A computed column in the table that the pivot is deriving off of will give you a sum of ratios. To get a ratio of the sums, add the computed column on the pivot itself.

Looking for Better User Interface Controls

I'm working on an Labwindows CVI application where a tachometer meter with a
programmable "red-line" affect to define safe running conditions is desired.
The controls available in the Labwindows palate provide a meter control,
however, no capability exists for customizing it. A conversation with NI
Tech support resulted in confirmation that my desire could not be realized.
Is anyone aware of additional user interface libraries (internal to NI or
available comerically) that may help me?

I'm not sure if this helps, or how you would drop it onto a CVI interface,
but I found something in National Instruments ComponentWorks which might
work. I did this in Visual Basic and ComponentWorks, and don't know if there
is a similar object in ComponentWorks++. What I did was open up a form and
add a CWKnob component to it. The CWKnob has several pages of properties
which you can use to customize it at design time, and you shuold be able
to access them and change them programmatically at run time also (like changing
the red line position). Instead of the default view of the CWKnob, I went
to the Style sheet and selected 'Dial', which makes it look like a meter.
Then I went to the Pointer sheet and added another pointer, Pointer-2.
I selected the Fill Style to
be 'Fill to Maximum', and the color red. This
puts a second point on the meter, where everything above the pointer to the
max value is a red band. To hide the pointer and only have the red band,
I set its Style to 'None'. You can set its value (red line) on the property
page, and I expect you can do this programmatically, too, although I didn't
take the time to try it out.

Simple Interface control

sometime when i am working with multiple projects open i drag a window apart from the main canvas making 2 canvases.
Often when i do the part of the window that has the project name goes behind the upper interface. Normally when this happens i close the project and reopen to get the dragable part back.
But is there another way to handle this?

Well, you could turn off the Application Frame under the Window menu. Or, you can bring any open image to the front by selecting it under the Windows menu at the bottom...that will pop any image behind the Application Frame to the front. You can also use the keyboard command Control plus Tab to move between open images...

PCI Express interface control using LABVIEW

I've made my own PCI Express card which is meant for data transmission from external device to PC through PCI Express intergace.
Everything is being controlled by FPGA chip.
My qiestion is, how to make Labview be able to recognise the device and send data through PCIe interface?

Basically, this is a signal
acquisition system. The main part are ADC which is connected to FIFO memory and
then to PCI Express pins. Cyclone from ALTERA is meant to control all the
processes.
Something similar you can find here:

Express card which is supposed to communicate with a PC through PCI Express
Bus.
There is a program inside the Cyclone which makes all the necessary
packages according to PCIe Specification for the data transmission through the
Bus.
