Hi Interface Gurus -
Could you please help me with the below ......
I need to create a daily audit trail report either in SAP/BW that should show the data that has been transmitted (thru interface) from Non-SAP to SAP System. Also I have to show the report ased on the record type for any date.

Are you maintaing the data in a custom table (including record type). If yes, you would just need to fetch the data from that table.

I have a Scenario's like
I have to generate a customized report in SAP with the main data's available in SAP ECC and some required data available in the Legacy System.
I want to know the Pros & cons of using SAP PI RFC/Proxy adapter interface to get the data from the legacy system for each time the user execute the report in SAP ECC.

There are couple of "dimensions" to consider in your PI interface design. For exemple when you are running the sizing exercise (Since we are considering adding a net new interface), you will need to capture specific information about new interface.i.e. S/A, adapters, frequency, avg payload size. etc..Note that the last two attributes will be hard to size properly in this case since you can't predict how frequent the end user will run the report which will impact the latency time required to pull the data. Latency will affect the user experience as visible side affect and definitely the SLA for other interfaces running at the same time.
On the other hand, the data you are trying to retrieve from the legacy won't be used for transactional purpose but for the end user to pull KPIs from the system which can affect ECC as well. You may end up doing lot hot fixes for your report (Assuming that the report is a medium complexity code)
There are other factors to consider but let's consider these are the major one.

STEP 1: Like any other add-on project, refer SBO UI and DI COM to your project. Initialize SBO APPLICATION object and SBO COMPANY object and listen to events. (This is standard add-on project steps)
STEP 2: Add a Dataset to the project. This is used as a data source to your Crystal Reports. (For more information on this search for Push Technique Crystal Reports)
STEP 3: Add a Windows Form to your Project.
STEP 4: Add a Crystal Report Control to it.
STEP 5: Design report based on dataset added above.
STEP 6: Launch this Form with required parameters and selection criteria when any even happens.
Remember there is lot stuff available on net if you search with PUSH TECHNIQUE CRYSTAL REPORT. SAP SDN has lot answers for adding Crystal Reports integration to SAP Business One Add-On.

I have added web element in Crystal report for SAP system (BI or R/3) . But it does not show the control. It shows only scipt.It does not render the HTML.
But if I add the webelement for Excel sheet ,It shows the control.
How can I add web element for SAP System? Can't we use web controls in SAP system ?

i have the same issue on crystal report add-ins. Have you able to solve this without upgrading our sap business one to the latest version or patch level? Please see details below.

Crystal report integration package installed under B1_SHare/Client
But still the problem persist on the workstation.

Save Report in SAP b1 from Crystalreport Addon failed

Hi,
when I try to save a report which is loaded from b1 in Crystal reports and edited I cannot save the report by the Addon-Menu
i get the error Message:

you need to re install the integration package for B1 , you can find this in set up files of 9.0 package >>SAP CRAddin Installation
once you install this re start your crystal reports then you will be able to see this feature.
you can also check it is installed or not in programs under control panel called sap business one crystal reports integration package and the 2nd sap business object BI platform .net sdk redistributable .
if the those two programs are not there then you install this from the set up files i mentioned above.

Need Consignment report in SAP

Hello all MM Gurus,
Is there any report in SAP that shows the total consignment stock arrival and consignment stock consumption in a given plant. The report should show the consignment stock arrival/consumption, value of the stock, material number, etcetc.
Please let me know. I have suggested my user that we can use MB51 or MB54. But I am afraid, my user would get confused if he/she uses these transactions. Hence, I need a report in SAP that is particularly made for consignment stock.

Accounting --> Enterprise Controlling --> PCA --> Infosystem --> Reports for PCA
There are several reports which allow entering profitcenter groups or profitcenters.
Long Text is not possible. Makes also no sense to report on Long Text.

In R12, If we enter Expenditure batches using Expense Report classification in Projects, can we interface these Expense Reports to Payables?
Wat is the signifance of "Expense Report Cost Account", function in Projects AutoAccounting? There is no clearing Account function for Expense Reports ?

The steps to use crystal report in SAP B1:
1. Creating addon or report form that is integrated to SAP B1. This is an interface.
2. Creating a report launcher that can be a form listing the reports
3.Prior to creating report launcher and addon, you must develop the layout of crystal report and database connection setting
Usually, there is no crystal report created without integrated to SAP B1 except using addon or interface.

List of all Reports in SAP Module wise

hi all,
i have one requirement, that is List of all Reports in SAP.
what is the tcode or table name to get all only reports in sap module wise. i have tryed in TSTC table, but it is showing all tcodes including standard screen programs. i want only reports, that list have to convert in excel file. please help me in this..

The following are the most commonly used reports across various modules:
RGUGBR00 Substitution/Validation utility
RHGENZ0/HRGRENZ2 Notes RHGRENZ0/2 will abend if there are any inconsistencies between PD and PA (i.e. people in a different controlling area than the position they belong to).
RHGRENZ0 Delimit IT1000 and related 1001s. Program will delete any 1001 infotypes whose start date is after the delimit date.
RHGRENZ1 Extend the end date on delimited records. Very useful when you delimit a bunch of records incorrectly, and need to change the end date.
RHGRENZ2 Delimit IT1001 only.
RKCTSEAR Search source code for up to two strings. Also see RSRSCAN1 and RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN.
RPDTRA00 List all HR transactions.
RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN Search ABAP code for a string. Has many more options for selecting the ABAPs to search than RSRSCAN1 or RKCTSEAR.
RPUAUD00 HR Report to list all logged changes for an employee. Uses the PCL4 Audit Cluster.
RPUAUDDL HR Report to delete audit data from the PCL4 Audit Cluster.
RPUDELPN Delete all info for an employee number, including cluster data and infotypes

How to create Webi Reports with SAP BW Objects

Hi,
I have no knowledge on creating webi reports with SAP BW Objects like (InfoCube, DSO, MultiProvider, Infoview, MasterData Infoobject).
As per my understanding Webi reports can be developed with universe which is created on BEx Queries or OLAP BAPI interface, unfortunately i don't have BEx App installed. So, i have to create OLAP universe in this case.
Here my question is can we create universe with all the available BW objects like InfoCube, DSO, MultiProvider, Infoview, MasterData Infoobject.
Please, Can anyone suggest a solution

Hi,
Yes we can create WebI on the top of SAP Objects - InfoCube, DSO, Characteristics etc...
But we have to keep in mind that for WebI we must create Universe.
When we create universe we make direct connection with SAP Objects but we get less functionality - such Calculated Key Figures, Restricted Key Figures, formulas etc. Now you have to achieve all these missing components at Universe Level and at WebI level.
If you are creating your universe on the top of DSO and InfoObject then make sure they set for reporting.
There are some online documentation which tells that what functionality you can achieve.

RAR 5.3 SP8 - Invalid Mitigating Controls Report Issue

Hello,
When I view the Invalid Mit Controls Report, and I click the "Click to Change" button, it brings me to blank mitigating controls screen with an error at the bottom of the screen that reads "Category should be U, R, P, H or O"
Has anyone seen this before? The log shows nothing when I look to it to view more info about the error...
Any troubleshooting tips or is this something I need to bring up with SAP?

Trouble: Crsytal reports for SAP Best practices

Hello Friends,
I have downloaded crystal reports for SAP Best practices. There are bunch of Crystal reports whose data source is a infoset query.
Below are the reports
Cost Analysis: Planned vs. Actual Cost Variance for Cost Centers     Table: CSKT, CSLT
Query: CO_OM_CA_20_Q1
                                                                                         InfoSet: ZBPBI131_INFO_ODVR
Cost Analysis: Planned vs. Actual Order Costs                             Query: CO_OM_OP_20_Q1
                                                                              InfoSet: ZBPBI131_INFO_ODVR, ZBPBI131_INFO_COAS
Controlling Dashboard                                                     Table: CSLT
                                                              Query: CO_OM_CA_20_Q1, CO_OM_OP_20_Q1
                                                              InfoSet: ZBPBI131_INFO_CSKT
I have created the above Infosets using the document which comes with the installation. However I couldn't find any documents to create these queries. I also searched the SAP system if these were predefined but I still couldn't find.
Note: I am ECC 6 and Enhancement pack 3
Question: Where are these queries?? How do i create them?
Any inputs would be really appreciated?

Hightlight the G entry and invoke the context menu.Select Options and in the Table name field enter the following
CO%
Close the options window and press F5. Navigate again to SAP Infosets and to the opened connection to your system. Under Q->G you should be able to see the CO* Infosets.
