For Global Employment, How do we configure and which schema we will run? Suppose an employee is working in US and had been sent to UK for a year. Will we run both schemas(U000 & G000) for the employees?

Management of Global Employment
I have set up every thing OK in system for Management of Global Employment, and i could run the flow of actions like Expatriation Planning, Activation and all other actions related with.
MY question is, when ever i am trying to save IT0706 i am getting error message for the "HOME" and "HOST" subtypes, i am sure that if i am able to trace one error of one subtype , i would be able to trace the other subtype error. So currently i am focusing only on one subtype.
Whenever i try to save IT0706 it throw error message and asks me to maintain the tables "T76MGE_ACPI" and "T76MGE_BCPI" when actually go to SM30 and try to maintain these tables, (i could notice that these tables are only allowed to maintain through SM30 and not through IMG)
The input values for these two tables are the drop down comes from navigation path "Management of Global Employees > Compensation Package > Compensation Package Items > Define Compensation Package Items"
when i actully go and see, i DID HAVE my values maintained in this table, but they dont default in above mentioned two tables. "T76MGE_ACPI" and "T76MGE_BCPI" where i am doing mistake is clue less to me and neex your help. - appreciate any insight to it.
If i could maintain IT0706 without errors, i am done with my configurationNot much help, i have already gone through this., I got one more clue as i dig more into system, i should be able to maintain the Table T76MGE_CPI. This table also again not editable either through SM30 or IMG node (still figuring out)
So you may look at the direction of the ways to maintain this table.

Global Employment - employee selection in ESS
Hi,
We are implementing global employment for ESS. So far everything is working fine, but I have one question. Their is message popup if an employee has multiple employee numbers. The popup comes up correctly but their is a strange message "message.MULTIPLE1" and "message.CHOOSE1". It looks like the message has not been entered in the R/3. Anybody has ideas? Are there any notes about this?

You may be able to change this text using Personalization - Ctrl and Right mouse button on the UI element
(this can be done at user level or globally in the PCD)
Alternatively I would see if the problem still occurs on the latest stack - check also none of your XSS
or BPs are running a null SP

Standard reports for Global employment
Hi ,
Are there any standard reports for Global employment.
for eg. at Home country, I would like to know the Host country details like country code, personnel area etc.
Would they work with the authorizations available at the home country ie to display host country org. assignment.

I have 2 questions on Global Employment.
1) Infotype 702 is used for documents. The infotypehas a text field where we can specify the location of the document, but is there any way to store the document itself in 702 or anyother global infotype? Does any infotype support this feature at all?
2) I have created an empty implementation for BAdI: HRPAD00MGEACTIVATION in customer namespace, but the activation actions: 80 thro' 85 do not show in Actions list. Is there any additonal requirement (all business functions and switches are active)

We are activating the Global Employment functionality for Master data maintenance. As per SAP Note 662136, the following needs to be done.
''To activate the desired functions, you have to activate the following line in the CHECK_RELEASED method of the CL_HRCE_MASTERSWITCHES class first: ce_is_released = true.
Where can I find CL_HRCE_MASTERSWITCHES class? What exactly need to be done here? Please guide.

Mention CL_HRCE_MASTERSWITCHES as the object type.
Display.
Double click on the CHECK_RELEASED method.
In order to implement this method you need an object-relevant access key via Service.sap.com - Keys&Requests - SSCR keys - Register object.
When you have the key un-comment the line "ce_is_released = true"

Issue in Global Employment (IT0706)
Hi
We are implementing Global Employment (ECC 5.0), and have decided not to use IT0706 (Compensation Package Offer). But when we perform action 'Host Activation', we get an Information message at the end of the action saying that 'no IT0706 was found'.
We want to suppress this message. Any ideas as to how this can be achieved?

Global employment functionality - is to manage short term or long term cross -country employee movements. Basically to manage the expatriation and repatriation process for an employee within a global company.
Concurrent employment - is to manage more than one assignment (contract) for an employee within the country. These assignments can be within the same organisation or separate organisations. Although there is a limitation on how much information can be stored if the employee is engaged by separate companies. If the employee has more than one assignment within a company it gets better to manage in SAP. Example an employee working as a secretary for fixed hours in one department and remaining hours of her working time as an office assistant for another department within the same organisation. There are tax implications in doing multiple assignments and hence payroll gets complex in these scenarios. At the moment only Canada & US payroll can be run for Con-current employees in SAP. For UK SAP has an alternate solution called Multiple employment (ME). Though SAP claims ME is stable for UK payroll, it gets very difficult to set up and get it working without problems.

Error in PA40 transaction - Management of Global Employees
Hi,
We are trying to implement Global Employment and have run into a serious error.
In PA40, I try an Expatriation Planning action and get the following error when I try to save the record.
Error Long Text
Grouped data for personnel number 91000074 does not match 01000035
Message no. PBAS_SERVICE042
Diagnosis
Personnel number 91000074 and 01000035 are supposed to be grouped with the grouping value 10 for infotype 0002. However, the number of data records of the infotype is not the same for these personnel numbers.
System Response
The system identifies all affected data records as inconsistent.
Procedure
Notify your system administrator.
Procedure for System Administration
The inconsistency described above can have several causes. The most likely causes are:
Customer-specific settings for grouping infotypes have been changed without the database being adjusted accordingly.
A customer program was used to add data to the database, without reference to the grouping values.
The infotype is not supposed to be grouped, but the grouping mechanism was activated inadvertently.
You must first identify the cause of the inconsistencies. You can use report RPUFIXDS to do this. ( I ran report, with no results for my
PERNRs)
We tried several other things from changing number ranges to turning Concurrent employment On. But the error was not fixed. We tried looking through OSS notes that could be related to Global Employment and CE but there was nothing relevant. We are on the latest patch levels for Basis and HR components.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

AminaYes the two pernrs belong to the same employee. Minimum set up on the infotypes you have mentioned has been performed. We are attempting to create the first step in the prepare for global assignment, which means setting up the assignment (copying infotypes from the original assignment). We can not get beyond the first IT0002 in the creation of the 2nd dialog, we never get to any IT's that are required for the concurrent employment infotypes.

OSS Note and Management of Global Employee Customizing
Hello you all!
I've being having trouble with the customizing. When I perform the standard actions all the specific infotypes are skipped (i.e. 706, 710, 715).
We are working with the 4.7 release and SP 53. Do I need to modify something on table t77s0? Is there a note I need to apply?

I might be able to answer better if you could tell me what action are you undertaking.
However, this may help you.
First, check if the Switch for Global Employment is ON in T77S0. Check X for CCURE-GLEMP Switch.
If the Switch is ON, goto Personnel Management-->Personnel Admin>Customizing Procedures>Actions>Set Up Personnel Actions-->Personnel Actions (Note the Infogroup Number for the action you are performing.)
Then, goto Personnel Management-->Personnel Admin>Customizing Procedures>Actions>Define Infogroups-->Infogroups (Infotypes entries MUST exist for 706, 710 and 715 in the list. DO NOT forget to check if User Group is also matching.

Which LDB should be used for global employment PNP or PNPCE. Does anyone has examples of using PNPCE. i am fully aware of using PNP but not PNPCE keeping in ming global employees.
Concurrent employment is different from Global employment.
How do i handle PU12 interface for global employment ? We outsource payroll and export master data to the vendor.

The Difference is only with in an SAP R/3 system in which Concurrent Employment is active, reports are executed by the PNPCE logical database. The general logic of the PNPCE logical database corresponds to the PNP logical database. The PNPCE logical database can also process the concept of Concurrent Employment.
HR Logical Databases
In Human Resources (HR), the following logical databases can be used as a data source for HR InfoSets:
PNP (PNPCE)
PAP
PCH
By selecting a logical database, you determine the HR data that can be reported on using an InfoSet.
Logical Database PCH
This logical database generally enables you to report on all HR infotypes. However, you are advised not to use this logical database unless you want to report on Personnel Planning data.
Logical Database PNP (or PNPCE)
Use logical database PNP to report on HR master data. It is possible to use logical database PCH to access this data, but PNP meets such reporting requirements more quickly because it is best suited to the task of selecting persons.
Logical database PNP enables you to access HR master data and infotypes from Personnel Planning. For example, you have the following options:
Reporting on the costs, number of attendees booked, and instructor for a business event on which an employee is booked
Reporting on working time and planned compensation for a position that an employee occupies
Reporting on the validity and proficiency of a qualification that an employee fulfils
From a technical perspective, this means you can use PNP to report on all of the infotypes that exist for objects (infotype 1000) that have a direct relationship (infotype 1001) with the Person object.
The ability to access infotypes from Personnel Planning using logical database PNP is a special feature that you can only use in the context of SAP Query and Ad Hoc Query. You cannot use this functionality for ABAP reports you programmed yourself.
You can also use logical database PNP to report on data from Personnel Time Management (infotypes 2000 to 2999) and Payroll (special payroll infotypes for the USA and customer infotypes; for more information, access Customizing for the Human Resources Information System and see Payroll Results).
Logical Database PAP
Logical database PAP enables you to access data from Recruitment.
The PNP and PNPCE are basically the same, with the exception of the concurrent employment / global employment concept.
If you activate the Management Global Employee functionality or the Concurrent Employment functionality, you have introduced a new ID concept called PERSON ID. This allow a person to have more than one PERNR (personnel number) and linked together through PERSON ID. Which is created, stored, and track via infotype 0709.
PNPCE has one extra field in there for PERSON ID and allow you to write code to query upon it.
