Gmail web can't reject suggested word

in gmail web app for ipad I can't reject the suggested word by autocorrection, any solution for this?

Your question - is it not? How could I possibly know what you know about the iPad? Sorry - I do not read that you "don't want that" from the question above. I gave you a solution based on the way you phrased your question. Is it so much work - to actually put in the decription - that there is no need to suggest something that you already know about?
no it won't work, you can try as much as you like the suggested word won't go away! that' prety anoying!

    There may be a problem with the definition of the rule to delete the characteristic. If you go to transaction RSMRT
    and use the 'check' option to check the rule you created are there any errors for the check?
    If not when you get the error message that you mention is there any additional error messages created in sm21
    or dumps in ST22?
    If not there may be a problem with the consistency of the cube if you goto RSRV>All Elementary tests>Transaction data
    and run these tests for the cubes are there any error messages? If yes please try to use the repair function in RSRV
    to correct any errors.
    If none of the above helps you should delete the run you created, make a dummy change to the cube (e.g add a '.'
    to the description of the cube, save the change and then activate the cube, please then try and create the
    remodelling rule again.

  • IOS 4.2.1 auto-correction bug in gmail web interface

    Seems to be a bug in 4.2.1, relating to auto-correction of spelling errors within the gmail web interface (i.e. within safari)...
    Whenever I'm typing, if I make a spelling error for which auto-correction suggests an alternative, attempting to cancel the auto-correct by hitting the little X icon next to the suggested word has no effect - the suggestion stays there... the only things that can be done are to either (a) backspace and retype the word correctly, or (b) hit space and allow the erroneous correction to be made.
    Auto-correct appears to work fine for other sites accessed within Safari, and also other apps... seems to just be isolated to the gmail web interface (at least as far as I'm experiencing atm)
    Anyone else noticing this? Any workarounds or fixes suggested?

    I'm experiencing exactly the same problem on an iPad running iOS 4.2.1 (8C148)--- exactly as you described: I can't cancel individual autocorrections. This is a major problem with typing on the iPad, because it's hard to be precise with the keyboard, but technical words need to be canceled. It happens in gmail, but not some other text boxes in Safari, such as this one.

    Yesterday afternoon, out of the blue, I can no longer open word or excel documents from my gmail account in firefox browser on windows 7. I can in all other browsers. The error message is "There was a problem sending the command to the program"

    As a workaround, does it work to save the files first and then open them after saving?
    Sometimes when Firefox has problems handing off a download to another program it is caused by a corrupted settings file. That file is hard to edit, so usually we suggest renaming the file to see whether that resolves the issue. Here's how:
    Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
    * (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
    * type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
    In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button. This should launch a new window listing various files and folders.
    Leaving that window open, switch back to Firefox and Exit, either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
    * (menu bar) File > Exit
    Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''mimeTypes.rdf''' to something like mimeTypes.old
    Start Firefox back up again and test your Gmail attachments. Any improvement?
    Note: This resets some preferences to their defaults, such as which PDF viewer Firefox uses. If you need to update that again, please see this article: [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]].

    Is this a problem with the computer or with the word processor? MS Word for example seems to think its grammar and spelling are better than mine - they are not. You have to go into MS Word preferences and uncheck all the useless "help" it wants to provide.

    Just downgraded our Office suite from 2013 to 2010 on our terminal server to find out that I cannot make changes to the default templates in the 2010 version because it’s an older word doc and it wont save the
    content controls, when I make a change and save it. It wants to upgrade to a .docx each time and this app doesn’t seem to look for the .docx 
    Can any one suggestion me why word templete not having schema reference if I open the doc in Ms office 2010.
    And How can i make it work with both in Ms office  2010 & 2013.

    Word 2013 documents work fine in Word 2010, 2007, and 2003, for that matter. Word 2013-specific features do not work in those earlier versions.
    You may find the tools provided by Graham Mayor and Greg Maxey helpful. They provide for linked content controls that work in Word 2007-2013.

    There is a version especially for Word 2013 but I don't think it's documents will be backward-compatible either.

  • Can't search for words anymore after saving PDFs in Preview

    Hi everyone,
    I would love to use Preview for my day-to-day use of previewing PDFs + highlighting + setting annotations. However, once I have saved the pdf with Preview I can not search for words anymore. If I search for one letter only, I would get cryptic hits like "7;%! 2%8%P%8!".
    I am not sure, but I guess when preview saves the pdf using a Quartz PDF context, something happens with the index, or the underlying the font structuring.
    Does anyone have had experience with these kinds of troubles?

    Hi, thanks for answering quickly, and the heads up on that other thread.
    It undoubtedly has to do with the annotations or mark ups (the last, in my case).
    In the linked-to thread they end by suggesting that it's because it's has "commenting not allowed" when you see it
    using Adobe Reader, File > Properties > Security says Commenting: Not Allowed.
    However, some documents with "commenting not allowed set in Adobe Reader I can highlight or annotate fine, without it messing up after saving.
    Besides, any document I save as pdf even from Word, will say commenting not allowed in Adobe Reader. So if even my own documents are not highlight- or annotate-able without garbling the text, what documents would these functions be for, then?
    I think what somebody mentioned in the other thread about character encodings hold some truth, I see it in documents in Danish with æ ø and å (however, not all!), but not in English-only docs (yet. Have any of you?).

    There's not an option to add a word to the dictionary. However, after typing that word several times, it will start to recognize it and offer it as a suggested word.

  • Processing can be rejected

    I create a simple one step workflow with a decision step using task TS00008267.  I turn on advance with dialog and  processing can be rejected.  Agent is initiator.  When I test, it displays the decision and I can cancel it and then reject from inbox.  Everything seems to work fine.
    The problem is any time I go back into the decision step and then leave, it tells me it will delete the processing rejected outcome if I save the step.  Even if I don't change anything, it still deletes the outcome path.  If I cancel out, it will still work.  If I save, it deletes the path and even though the checkbox for rejection is still checked, rejection from inbox isn't possible anymore.  If I go back into the task and turn rejection off and then back on and save, it works again.
    I've searched SAP notes and didn't see anything specific to this.  I've tried it both our dev and sandbox environments and it does it both places.  Any ideas?

    Sometimes weird behaviour is observed, and the only explanation is that something has gone completely wrong internally. What you could try is to add a new step to the workflow with the same definition, and see if the behaviour is the same. Or, I suppose it is even better if you use a sandbox to create a new workflow and define it in the same way.
    It's a long shot, but no-one else has suggested anything yet - perhaps they are still sleeping?
    Seing my great idea about the sandbox ( I decided to give it a shot myself. I observe the same behaviour. However, the Processing Rejected outcome is never visible in the "Outcomes" tab for the step, so that's why the workflow builder insists on deleting the branch - just as if you had removed another outcome.
    If you try a different standard task you will notice that "Processing rejected" will be added to the outcomes if you check the flag.
    The decision tasks are special in their behaviour - with outcomes decided by step input data, and therefore SAP must also have some special handling of them internally. I suppose they didn't foresee someone checking this flag for a decision task.

    I have done all the steps described in the blog /people/community.user/blog/2008/11/18/web-services-enhancement-for-ms-word-integration-in-crm-2007 about Web-services enhancement for MS Word,  but the last step I did not complete successfully.
    When I start the template designer no offer structure OUTPUT of web service, the template is blank.
    The funny thing is that when I delete the APPEND structure with fields Z, and I press Check button and activate the web service again I have no problem, I start the template designer and reappear standard fields.
    Anyone have any idea what happens?

    You may have to upgrade your MS word 2003 to MS Word 2007.
    Before you do that please opening View > toolbars > Task Pane and check if you can get XML Schema from the web service.

    If they are all PPC-only applications, then yes. CS2 is incompatible with Intel machines. Not knowing how old your iMovie version is, but if it goes back to the same time period then it won't work either until you upgrade all the old software to Intel or Universal binaries from the respective developers.
    You can revert back as follows. Erase the drive and restore your Snow Leopard backup or:
    Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
    1.  Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button.  When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
    This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
    If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.  If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.
