Going Live and Editing
HI
I have a business catalyst website: charteraplane01.businesscatalyst.com and now I will be going live charteraplane.com.au on the Adobe servers using the credit from the subscription.
Although my website is all good to go but my question is:
Once I go live and want to make changes ( adding or deleting things ) can I do that in MUSE and then syncronise this with the live website. I think it can be done but I am not sure. I do not get into a situation where I can not

Business catalyst is a hosting platform, which allows to host your file. So when you click publish first time in Muse and publish your site to Business catalyst, it will create two url for you,
mysite.businesscatalyst.com (System Domain)
mysite.worldsecuresystems.com (Secure Domain)
Once your site is published, you add a domain to the site, like mysite.com (custom domain)
Now all these three url are pointing to the same site, which is hosted by business catalyst. So when you click publish in Muse, Muse will show you the list of website on business catalyst under your account. check this screenshot
So when you select the site, it is going to your site. which can be accessed using all the domains (system,secure or Custom domain as defined above). But as you have custom domain, system domain is not used anywhere.

When I enter a new event on iCal with the time, it leaves the time off of the Monthly view and in order for me to glance at the times of the day's events I have to click on each event or go into the event and edit it again putting the time on, for it to show. Is there a way to get it to show without doing this?

Problems with filling out/going back and editing filled out information and signing forms
Users cannot fully fill out, edit and save forms--
the forms were set up in InDesign CS6, then edited in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for all the form info and after that was set up the forms were saved as extended pdfs to allow adobe reader users to fill them out and sign.
The users are having all kinds of issues with the forms and its been difficult to pin point the exact cause.
Here are 2 errors:
This document enabled extended features in Adobe reader. This document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document.
The security settings on this document prevent adding text and/or placing a signature on it from Adobe Reader. To fill out and sign this document you need to print it out.
---I've checked the security on the form and there is no security not allowing them to fill it out and I believe that originally they were able to but the form was saved and then they went back and were unable to edit it. I need to know if its something I need to do on my end or an instruction I need to give to them--steps to filling out and saving programs vesions to use etc..

Your user should go to Extended pane in Reader to apply a digital signature to the Reader extended PDF.
The user is probably trying to use the Sign pane in Reader which has some options disabled according to the document permissions. The new Sign pane in Reader is an integration with Adobe EchoSign service in the sense that it enables an end user to fill-up documents, electronically sign and then send a PDF document, without having the need to print them. The Sign pane provides two options to the user:
1 - Fill and Sign: Here the user can place text using 'Add Text'. Users can add arbitrary text to a PDF, eg. in documents where Reader cannot interact with the document even though the document looks like a form, in forms where user cannot save the filled-up form. In such cases the only option a user has is to print the form, fill it and then fax or fedex the filled up document to the author or scan it and send it electronically. Using the Sign pane in Reader, a user can add text and also electronically sign the document (this is not the same as digital signature) using an image of their signature. He can create a 'signature' from a scanned paper which has user's handwritten signature and place it on the PDF.
2 - Send for Signature: Here the user is sent to EchoSign for collecting signatures from others.You will get that first message when the document has been changed in a way that invalidates the internal digital signature that's applied when a document is Reader-enabled. Certain changes are allowed (e.g., filling fields, commenting, signing) and will not invalidate the signature, but others are not. The exact cause of the change is often hard to track down, but it can be due to font problems, some type of file corruption, or something that Acrobat/Reader attempts to correct when the file is opened/saved. You will also get the message if the users system time is not correct and is currently set to some time before the document was Reader-enabled. It seems best to use the most recent version of Acrobat to enabled the documents and recent versions of Reader to work with them.
It problem is probably not related to the user using anything in the Sign pane. -

Spry menu works fine local and turns the whole web page white when it goes live. Please help.
Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out with this problem. I have been working on it all day and I took the time to design nice buttons in Photoshop and backgrounds. It works perfect viewing it in my browser locally.
I have ran into a problem. My whole page turns white I can't see anything at all when i upload it live. I use hostgator webhosting business package if this helps.
I have made sure that I uploaded my SpryAssets folder with everything in it to the server. As you can see I changed the links to work with my website.

The code below it is what makes my website go white, you can't even see anything at all. Notice all i took out was buttons and then i added the spry code. The site will still work perfect without the buttons, but as soon as I place the spry code within the page anywhere it goes white and won't work at all.

I wonder
what a link to a style sheet is doing in the middle of your document. The placement of a link to CSS should only be within the head-section of your document
why a div has been placed right in the middle of a list. If you want to place the menu item in the middle, then do so using CSS on the a element.
why a form has been placed within the menu bar. Everything within the ul element will be considered part of the menu bar.
Clean up your code and all should be well.

Both my iPad and iPhone have ios8
On either device in Calendars> edit >shared with> add person when I enter an email address and press add nothing happens - just goes back to edit screen and what I have entered has gone. No error message or any clue about why I cant share my calendar. Please help.UDPATE:
Spoke with Express lane, and issue was escalated. Kudos to the support guys that handled this one (Brian and Yi). Went through everything in detail and took all the crash dumps off the iphones and ipads to send to engineering.
After backing up the contacts, the recommendation was to delete all contacts in iCloud. Doing that caused my iCloud to crash (in the browser), so more crash dumps were sent to apple.
Eventually got all contacts deleted, then did a resync. Looks like IOS devices are coming back to life and syncing again.
Also, Outlook iCloud connector has just been updated to ver 1.0.1 so i installed that on their recommendation.
BOTTOM LINE workaround:
1. Backup contacts
2. Delete contacts in iCloud
3. Delete accounts on IOS devices
4. Recreate accounts on IOS devices.
Hoping a real root cause can be found and real fix implemented. This has caused me to doubt the stability of iCloud, so i will procees with caution. -
I am unable to use Muse in-browser editing. I have followed the activation instructions both in Muse and invited users. I have an active site, but when I enter my site URL plus /admin, the graphic dots move but the site goes nowhere and I am never given a chance to enter my email and password. I'd keep trying the other way. You may have hit it when BC was doing an update or something. If it works one way it should work the other way. But sometimes BC can be kind of temperamental and you have to do a little dance or something to get it to work. But it generally comes around and fixes itself in short time.

I am going on an Alaskan Cruise that has no internet service, can I still import and edit my photos? Do I have to have internet for Lightroom 5? Any help with this question would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
If you have purchased the perpetual license version of Lightroom, no internet is needed.
Someone else can probably answer if you have the Creative Cloud version, but I seem to recall that it only has to "log in" to Adobe to check that you've paid once every 30 days. -
Like most professional photographers, I shoot and edit in RAW rather then JPEG. Is the Photos app going to allow me to use the RAW format?

Been using LR since 2004. My raws are all of sudden jumping around in Develop module. Image does not stay, it goes forward and backwards randomly, even with magic mouse off. Can't edit. Using MacPro, currently everything. Canon 5dmk3 raws
This sounds like a hardware issue. I haven't seen this particular problem reported before.

If you need a very fast turnaround editing facility you can look at FCP coupled with something like Picture Ready from Gallery, you can download a demo to test
