  • Manually adjusted G/L and Material values in MIRO document

    Dear All,
Can you please help me get the logic of capturing data from RBCO and RBMA for manually adjusted entries. I have a Purchase Register, which is completely based on the MIRO documents. The values are picked up from RSEG and RBKP. Header-wise and item-wise details are also displayed in the register.
Since manual adjustments are done, the values are not saved in RSEG Table. The total value is reflected in the RBKP - Header table. How do I get the value bifurcation?
The values are there in BSET table also. But I fetch the values with respect to the tax codes and condition types from BSET. Accounting values are fetched from BSET in the existing register.
According to the current logic, the adjusted values are not populated to the Purchase Register.
How to display the values in item-wise and header-wise?
Please help me get a logic of getting the values from RBCO and RBMA or from BSET.
I prefer to get the values populated from BSET, because we will get the tax values also.
    Thanks,
    Haritha

Hello , there are two tabs next to "Po reference" tab called "G/L Account" & "Material" tabs which can be used for G/L Accounts & material entering.
if you don't have these tabs , please check for authorization.

  • Import Miro when location is different

    Dear All
I have a situation as below
Some material has been received from the import vendor. The material is presently on the port. We have hired some space on the port itself which we could consider as our external warehouse wherein the material would be loaded. Now as n when this material is required we will pay them the custom charges & get that material released. How can we cater such situation in our sap wherein we can have the stock status of that external warehouse.
    Regards
    Surender Bhomia

    Dear Ravi
Thanks for the solution but when I create a separate Storage Location Accounting entries will be generated but the actual effect that I have to provide in my Books is that of the material Tfd from warehose to individual BA besides that Excise implications & other cost is also required to be booked. Secondly when I create a Storage location It will not solve the basic problem which is I have to keep only that stock which is being received from warehouse & based on that MIRO will me done.

  • Billing in Third party order process

    Hi,
In the last stage of TPO Process we need to do billing.kINDLY inform what is the reference document when we want to do billing for a third party order process in VF01, Is it sales order?

    Hi,
    In the Third Party processing,
You refer the Sales order for creating the Billing document to the end customer
In the Item category level of the Third party, one field which control the Billing relevance
If you check the BILLING RELEVANCE for TAS item category, it is F which says, the billing will be based on the MIRO ( vendor invoice)
In general for Third Party, Vendor will directly send material/Goods to the customer and that notification will be sent to the company.
If say, out of 10 PO items, Vendor has send only 5 quantity to the customer and we have to bill the customer for only 5 quantities so once the billing is generated it will refer to the invoice quantity of the MIRO
    Hope it is clear,
    regards,

  • SAP CIN - Propose values during bill of entry.

    Dear Friends,
We have implemented the process for imported goods procurement and as standard process, we create bill of entry before GR. There are many line items in PO and each item having 7-8 duties, also the exchange rate might be different at the time of PO creation and at the time of bill of entry creation, Is there any way that the system can propose the amount and quantity from PO or any exit where we can recalculate the duty conditions according to new exchange rate and propose in MIRO?
    Thank you,
    Best Regards,
    Soumya

Hi, If you search SDN you will get lot of thread regarding Imports Scenarion of India which is very complicated & tiresome for users, Now about your query if you want fix rates as per PO, then you can select the Fix indicator in PO next to exchange rate at header, which will of no use.
Normally at the time of MIRO we have to book the 7 custom duties in INR & not in foreign currency & that also based on the BOE which you will get from customs, Now based on this MIRO values your GRN values will be updated, for payment of foreign Vendor system will take the exchange rate maintained in OB08 as per the present rate maintained by Finance & accordingly it will hit your Exchange rate gain or loss accounts,
There is no exit for your requirement, but you can develop a program which may help you for your requirement which also you can search in the forum itself.
You can refer below link for some logic for development, check if it helps you,

  • Senario maping for sending goods for replacement

    Hi All,
We have a senario to be mapped in SAP MM. We are into aircraft maintenence business.
All our air craft are insured from tip to tail. If any of the part the aircraft shows any problem then it will be send to the OEM and shall be replaced by them free of cost.
Only we have to pay the customs duty and the freight amount. How to map the complete tracking of sending the material to vendor and getting the replaced material and booking the custom value for that material.
    Regards,
    Mohar

You can create purchase order(161 movement) with returns tick to return defective part.
    Do goods receipt(MIGO,161 movement).
Create import & freight condition types(M/06) & link it in pricing procedure (M/08).
Configure for purchasing & vendor schema settings.
Add another line item in same p.o for material replaced in same p.o with negligible price to enable
maintaining customs & freight values in respective condition type.
When BOE arrives maintain customs rate in condition types of purchase order.
Do custom invoice by capturing customs rates.
Do goods receipt based on custom MIRO.

  • SES reversal and related issue

    Hello,
ECC 6.0. Here is my situation. Please help!
-We have a service PO for $1000. (Commitment $1000 was created)
-We did a service entry sheet for $1000. (Commitment for $1000 was reduced.)
-GR document got created automatically for $1000.
    -Did invoice for $500.
Now i wanted to reverse everything---since i wanted to enter the SES for $500.
    -Therefore, i reversed invoice.
-Then i went in and reversed service entry sheet for the entire amount ($1000)
-The GR document got reversed for just $500.WHY?
I need the entire $1000 to be eliminated from the GR document so that i can start from the beginning.
    Please assist!!!
    Trey

    Hi Trey,
You are right, now im getting your results!
The reason is because of Gr Based IV. When you use GR based IV for services, and then you put partial amount in MIRO, the accounting entries get screwed up.
    For example,
    After Acceptance,
    Debit Expense   1000
         Credit GR/IR       1000
    Invoice Receipt,
    Debit GR/IR        1000
          Credit Vendor     500
          Credit Expense   500
    Now cancel Invoice Receipt,
    Debit Vendor       500
            Credit  GR/IR     500
If you count the math, the reversal didnt reverse everything properly, therefore its giving you the wrong account balance. In this case, theres still a balance:
    Debit   GR/IR       500
             Credit Expense  500
This is why when you cancel acceptance, it is only reversing 500, because system assumes that you have done invoice for the other half.. well thats what i think.
To fix the issue, please go to vendor master (XK02) --> purchasing view, then tick on Service Based Inv. Ver.
By doing this, whenever you create Service PO, the Service Based Inv. will be automatically checked.
Difference when you check on Service Based Inv, during MIRO screen you can actually see the breakdown service lines. Without it, it will only appear as 1 line in MIRO eventhough you have 10 service lines.
Another thing, when you perform MIRO transaction with partial, please distribute the price and quantity proportionately.
E.g. if service is 10$ for 1 HR
    and invoice is actually 5,
so in MIRO make it 5$ and 0.5 HR. (This is if you are expecting the balance service to be performed later).
If no services are to be performed later, reverse GR and then make the new GR = Inv.
    Hope this helps.

  • Doubt about intercompany process

    hello sd gurus
    1) I have a doubt in intercompany scenario...we treat customer is an internal customer...so what does it mean and the sister comapny deliver the goods to parent company or customer directly....plz clarify my doubt....
    2) in third party process sceanario...how the company knows the vendor has supplied this much of quantity....i know one thing that is miro and billing relevance is (F)....and is there any other answer for this question...if any answer plz let me know......
    3) what ever i post the question u guys are saying the answers...so how can i make reward points to u....whats the process to give reward points...
    Thanking you

    Hi Ram,
    1) In my view actually in third party process migo should not happen ....directly the vendor send goods to customer ...so by miro we can understand how much quantity he has sended....there is no migo.so how can we understand through migo...
    A) We do MIGO in third party sale,it is a proof for deliverd goods to the customer.even we do MIGO,based on the MIRO quantity ordering company bill to the customer.
    2) Internal customer:
    A) For intercompany sales we take 1 example-
    Ordering company-1000
    Delivering company-2000
    External customer-10050
    Internal customer-1000 (Ordering company)
here external customer will raise the order to ordering company.the goods are delivered from the delivering company, but this delivering company will not bill to the external customer.so this delivering company(2000) has to bill ordering company(1000).here payer for delivering company is ordering company.so that we have to create a payer master record by the name of ordering company and it has to assign in intercompany sales menu path.
so that while creating intercompany the system automatically determines the payer master not external customer.
    I hope you understood.
    Thank you,

  • PO with mutiple vendors

    Hi,
I have a typical scenario wherein the business imports a certain product through a PO having numerous different pricing conditions. This PO has a base price condition payable to the main material vendor and about 8 other conditions currently setup as delivery costs (not accruals) e.g. port fare, surveyor fees, etc. with each having a different vendor assigned to it on the PO. The total net price of this PO eventually forms the inventory cost of the product.
In std SAP if a delivery cost condition is not setup as an accrual it adds up to the final net price of the PO even though I need to pay that amount to a different vendor.
Now while I do my GR based IV using MIRO SAP pulls in the net price payable to main material vendor including the delivery costs under "Goods/service items" which is not what I want. I want the delivery costs to be split from this net price and should be payable to the other delivery cost condition vendor assigned in the PO. I donu2019t want to set these planned delivery cost conditions as accruals because these are actuals and price is finalized at the time of PO creation.
Can someone let me know of an option in std SAP to accomplish my requirement? Do I have to change my condition type or calculation schema setup?
    thanks,
    MM

But i want to do GR based IV, shouldn't SAP allow GR based IV for a non-accrual based delivery cost condition?

  • Po with account assignment category 'X'

    Hi,
I have an issue like I created PO based invoice using MIRO
In the PO account assignment category should be 'X'.
When I create invoice using MIRO ,when I enter PO numver in the invoice, then the item is in disable mode.I am not able to edit price or quantity in the invoice.
I have not ticked the option GR based in the PO also.
still it is acting as GR based.
Can any ne tell me why it is happening like this.
    thanks in advance.

    hi,
populate the values using Call transaction or batch input method by recording the overall flow of your transaction. It would be consistent and flow remains in your control.
    For recording
    goto SHDB->new recording-> transaction...
    Thanks

  • Difference between PR and PO

    Hi all,
Am new to sap and am abaper.
Can anybody clear me the doubts
    1. Differnce between Purchase requistion and purchase order.
    2. What is BOM.
    3. difference between transaction ME23n and ME23.
    4. Purpose of MIGO and MIRO..
    Thanks in advance,
    Ramya

    Dear Ramya,
I will answer one by one
1.PR is the request created by user dept. for a consumable matl. it can also be created automatically
Where PO is the legal doc which binds company and supplier, based on PO only he will supply matl and get payment.Po can be created wrto pr
2.Bill of matl ( BOM ) is the structure will tell us the details of child items reqd to create a final product, it is mainly used by purchasing , and shop floor and controlled by Engg. dept Toced is CS01/CS02?CS03
3.ME23 is used old tcode to display a PO where as ME23N is enjoy tcode started from SAPR/3 4.6 C onwards
ME23n is combination of all screens u of me23 u need to go one by one screen like ME23
4.MIGo is the evidance for the goods supplied by the supplier, and it will create  matl. doc no and  account docc. o based on configuration
MiRo is the TCode used to check and post the invoice supplied by the supplier,
Base for MIRo is PO/migo doc no
After miro FI people will run for payment based on payment term with supplier.
I hope u will clear with this , if u satified pl provide points or reply in case of wuery
