  • Not able to delete inbound delivery.

    Hi Gurus,
Please help me delete inbound delivery. I have a ticket where user is not able to delete inbound delivery. I tried to delete this delivery and I’m also getting the same errors that user is getting.
I have tried to insert real screen shots from production system in this post to give a better understanding of the scenario.
The situation is: PO was created for 2 line items for same material but different batch, for different quantities.
    For line item 1:
    1.      Two separate partial deliveries were received along with 1 delivery note each, for quantities 14,957.130 KG and 855.017 KG.
    2.      Goods issue was posted for both quantities.
    3.      Invoice receipt was done for both quantities.
    4.      Goods receipt was done for both quantities.
    5.      However, goods receipt was later reversed for quantity 14,957.130 KG.
    Screenshots Line item 1
    For line item 2:
    1.      One delivery was received for full quantity of 292.112 KG.
    2.      Goods issue was posted for same quantity.
    3.      Invoice receipt was posted for same quantity.
    4.      Goods receipt was posted for same quantity.
    5.      However, goods receipt was later reversed for full quantity.

Message in VL09 when trying to reverse goods movement with reference to inbound delivery:
Please tell me how can this inbound delivery be deleted?
Points will be awarded for right help.
    Thank you for viewing.

    Hi
    BV Yadav:
    1. it's the business user who posted the invoice, and posted goods issue the was it appears in PO history.  i'm not sure how they did it.
Kamlesh: I tried both, changing the document date and delivery date to current. i still got same error. still not able to delete inbound delivery.
Tomas Figura: Puaway QTY is already 0. this field is blank, nothing in it. pic below:
Note: someone has suggested to follow the process to reverse as many postings that have been done against the PO as possible and ultimately delete the PO, this will break all links between PO and inbound, outbound deliveries. and hence, there won't be a need to delete inbound delivery anymore.  then the business user can start the brand new process from scratch by creating a new PO, create a new outbound, inbound deliveries, and all. what do you guys think of it? Please comment.
    Thank you guys.

  • Output type not trigerring Automatically for inbound delivery

    Hi all
We have created a custom output type for Delivery idoc processing ZPOD copy of OPOD and maintained all the settings also condition record for the same has been maintained.
But when we are creating inbound delivery the output type ZPOD is not coming automatically.
In the Delivery document and in the Output screen i have checked  Determine analysis for output(VL32N -> Enter IBD No -> Select menu option Extras -> Delivery output -> Header
Go to menu option GoTo -> Determin.Analysis.)
It is showing me ->Message 502-Output ignored (requirement 017 not fulfilled)
Can u please throw some light so that in output message determination the Output type should come automatically for Proof of delivery
    Thanks and regards
    shailesh

Um... I think the message is pretty clear on this - the reason is "requirement 017 not fulfilled".
Requirements for output control may be found in VOFM transaction, under Requirements -> Output control. 017 is the standard one, the description says 'POD on goods issue'. According to the comments, the output is not issued if  "POD status is initial" or "No output, if no goods receipt".
Either correct the document or remove this requirement in output configuration, if it's not applicable.

  • 'Customer Not found' error during inbound delivery

    Hi Experts,
During creation of inbound delivery(IBD) with transaction VL31N (against normal PO with doc. type NB), we are getting following error.

    Hi Manoj

  • I can not find my seagate hard drive that contain my time machine back ups  how do i do that?

my airport extreme can not locate my seagate hard drive with all my back ups how do i fix this i need to restore some settings?

    As Bob says, that's problematical.
If you were backing-up to that drive while it was directly-connected to your Mac, and now want to move it to your Airport, there's an extra problem.  See the blue box in #E2 of Time Machine - Troubleshooting.
If you had previously been backing-up to the drive over your network, the backups may be corrupted (that happens rather often, and is the reason it's not recommended).  If so, you may be able to repair them, per #A5 in the same article.
Or, you may need to reset the Airport.  See Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule FAQ.

  • SAP System inconsistency for Inbound delivery / MIGO and a "sap note"

    Hello Friends ,
After following SAP instruction on how to remove the inconsistency between posting GR through MIGO (Inv. mang.) and the reflection of the goods movement status in the inbound delivery document - done that using sap note 570991
the problem is that the system start behaving in a weird way throwing unjustified Error messages for any suggested goods receipt using MIGO with reference to inbound
for example after creating an inbound delivery document and trying to post it via migo , an error will pop up
    - Inbound delivery storage location cannot be changed to here Message no. VLA316
the thing is i didn't even maintain any storage location entry up to that point and yet i cannot post any stock !!
    also another error  like
    - Inbound delivery batch cannot be changed to *** here
which doesn't make any sense because there is not batches in the inbound document !!
i think this behavior is coming from the "Document Flow Update for Stock Postings" inbound  indicator  at the shipping parameter at client level customization
i need help on  how to overcome this annoying SAP Bug/Problem specially i am in a post go live critical situation

    Hi,
The messages you mentioned were introduced to avoid inconsistency between inbound delivery and IM, through the note:  1050944 - GR for inbound delivery using inventory mgmt as of ECC 6.00
If the messages are issued incorrectly, then you may check for SAP notes (I couldnt find anything relevant) or raise an OSS ticket to SAP.

  • MD04 not matching Inbound Delivery GR Qty

Please help me understand what is happening in MD04.
We have a month-long scheduling agreement with a vendor.  The agreement has hundreds of line items.  The vendor sends ASNs to us as shipments are made against the agreement.  The ASNs create inbound deliveries in our system.  Several ASNs are received and processed daily.
The following situation occurred today.  A similar situation occurs most days, but it is not necessarily for the same mateirlal.
At 5AM an inbound delivery document created in the system.  Among the dozen materials on it was material A with a quantity of 240.  MD04 shows a quantity of 180 for that material on the inbound delivery, with an MRP exception of 15 (Reschedule out).  When I drill into the detials of the element, I can see a GR quantity of 240 u2013 matching the inbound delivery document.
At 7AM, a second inbound delivery came in, which has 120 units of material A (among other materials).  MD04 shows a quantity of 120 for this delivery.  This line also has the MRP exception 15 for the inbound delivery.
Why would the line for the 5AM delivery show a quantity of 180 instead of the GR quantity of 240?  Why does a line for a delivery created 2 hours later show the correct quantity?
    Regards,
    Ken

Update to this strange situation:  the ShipNt line in the stock/requirements list that appears to report a receivable quantity less than what is on the inbound delivery refers to an inbound delivery that has already been received in MIGO.  For some reason, this peculiar line item of the inbound delivery lingers on the stock requirements list after goods receipt.  Other line items on the same inbound delivery have dropped off their respective stock/requirements lists as expected.
We see this behavior when the ShipNtu2019s start to u201Cstack upu201D in the stock/requirements list.  When the last (most recent) inbound delivery is posted as received, the peculiar line drops off the list.
I think this has something to do with the confirmation control key 0004 for the scheduling agreement line item.
    Still searchingu2026..

  • Inbound Delivery: Inbound WHSCON IDoc with Batch Split - HowTo...?

    Hello
We have another tricky problem to solve on our ERP 6.0 system.
My colleagues of Lindt UK create manually inbound deliveries (VL33N) which are replicated to the warehouse (DESADV IDoc -> TRADACOMS.ORDHDR).
When the goods arrive at the warehouse they send back a good receipts message (TRADACOMS.DLCHDR -> WHSCON IDoc).
In some cases we have a batch split because the goods have been put into different storage locations. Example:
    - item 10: 200 Cases of product 4711, batch 10-2011,  in storage location '0001' (free available for Sale)
    - item 10:     5 Cases of product 4711, batch 10-2011, in storage location '0004' (damaged)
I am aware that in the inbound WHSCON item 10 is a main position and the two actual batch split positions are sub-items (900001 & 900002 with HIPOS = '10'). I tried to used E1EDL19-QUALF = 'BAS' (= batch split) with the sub-items but failed so far to update the inbound delivery that I can see the batch split.
I have managed to get one sub-item but not 2 of them. Somehow the system aggregates the quantities for both sub-items into the single item that shows up in the inbound delivery.
When we send the inbound delivery to the warehouse the item looks like this:
    - item 10: 200 Cases (no batch yet, Putaway quantity = 0, because these data are coming from the warehouse).
QUESTION: Has anybody else been faced with a similar (if not identical) problem and how did you solve it?
Thanks a lot in advance for your valuable input.
    Regards
      Uwe

    Hello Finbarr
I assume that you do NOT send any (suggested) batches to your warehouse. Otherwise you would have the same problem like we have that the WHSCON cannot overwrite a (suggested) batch.
However, if you just send the quantity per item then the batch split is much simpler than you suggested:
    "First E1EDL24 segment:
    POSNR     50
    MATNR     000000000000602006
    MATWA     000000000000602006
    CHARG     L1519   " <<< first batch
    LFIMG     37.000
    VRKME     CT
    "Second E1EDL24 segment:
    POSNR     50
    MATNR     000000000000602006
    MATWA     000000000000602006
    CHARG     L1880   " <<< second batch
    LFIMG     37.000
    VRKME     CT
Well, and as qualifier we use: E1EDL19-QUALF = 'XYZ'  " a dummy
The SAP system is smart enough the realize that these two E1EDL24 segment belong to the same item yet have different batches and, therefore, yield a batch split in the delivery. The system generated the 9xxxxx numbers for this sub-item lines automatically.
Although I believe that it is not possible to change a batch in the delivery using an inbound WHSCON I would appreciate to have a final proof of this assumption. I could imagine that if you first delete the item containing the suggested batch and then add a new item with the actual batch from the warehouse it might works. However, this would require to implement a user-exit which I do not prefer.
    Regards
      Uwe
PS: It seems I gave an answer to the wrong question (should be EDI (DESADV): Can batches be overwritten by an inbound WHSCON (pick conf)? )

  • Configuration Scenario -  Inbound Delivery

    Configuration Scenario
How can this scenario be best configured on SAP?
This is how the client receives goods ordered:
A PO is created and sent to the relevant vendor.  The vendor does not deliver the goods directly to the client; the goods are delivered to a Transporting Company (responsible for delivering the goods to different clientu2019s site).
The problem here is monitoring the movements of the ordered material, from the vendor, to the transporting company till to the clientu2019s site.
The client requires some sort of control mechanisms on the movement of the ordered material from the point of the vendor in terms of when the vendor has sent the material to the transport company , to the point where the  Transporting company  receives the goods , to the point where the goods are being received at the clients site .
Whats the best way to configure this on SAP .?? Could this problem be solve through the Inbound delivery process , if there is a way please provide full details
Your help will be kindly appreciated

    Hi,
Using confirmation control key you can control different types of confirmations. For your scenario I would propose the following:
    - when Vendor issues the product, then initial confirmation (eg. standard 'AB') can be created
    - when products are delivered to transportation company, then inbound delivery (which is also available as confirmation 'LA' type) is created
    - naturally when goods arrive to final destination, goods receipt is posted, in this case against inbound delivery document
If you do not want to create inbound delivery, you can also create custom confirmation categories that can be entered against PO items directly.

    Dominik Modrzejewski

  • Goods receipt against inbound delivery

After an import po has been created then an inbound delivery is created also.So after the inbound delivery we do goods receipt and our goods receipt is done against po even when their is inbound delivery. The reason why the goods receipt is done with reference to the po is that we have different vendors for all the delivery costs for example we have a vendor for custom charges, a vendor for freight charges, a vendor for terminal charges.so the goods receipt is done against the po so that when doing the miro they can select the different vendors. But inbound delivery is done with a single vendor and if the goods receipt is done against the inbound delivery it might acquire all the costs to that vendor. Is there any method whereby we can be able to do our goods receiot with reference to inbound delivery that will also capture all the delivery costs

The process you should follows is this:
    1) PO - define all the custom and freight condition types and enter the corresponding vendor in the condition types. Also, in the confirmations tab, choose Inbound delivery
    2) When the vendor ships the material, create an inbound delivery from VL31N to track it (against the actual import vendor)
    3) When the goods reaches customs, do a MIRO against the PO choosing 2-Planned delivery costs. This will credit the Customs vendor.
    4) When the goods arrive at your plant, do a MIGO against the Inbound delivery from step 2. Enter the MIRO number of step 2 in the popup that appears.
    5) Now do the MIRO for the actual import vendor and the freight vendors if applicable.
Try this in your sandbox system. Doing a GR against IBD will not cause any difference in the accounting entries.

  • Goods Receipt using Inbound Delivery with reference to Outbound Delivery

Here is our scenario that we need help finding a solution:
    1.  Multiple Intracompany POs created
    2.  On the confirmations tab of the POs, we have u201CInbound Deliveryu201D Selected because the items need to be received in with Handling Unit management.
    3.  We have the Order Combination box checked on the shipping tab to allow 1 delivery to be created for multiple purchase orders.
    4.  We create only 1 Outbound Delivery for only available items on various purchase orders.
    5.  Due to being handling unit managed, we need to receive the items using an inbound delivery.
Problem:  We need to find a solution to easily enter an outbound delivery number which will allow us to receive only the parts that were shipped (issued), via the inbound delivery process.
If we remove the confirmation control key, we can complete a Goods Receipt for Outbound Delivery in MIGO u2013 but is there a way to complete a goods receipt using an inbound delivery with reference to an Outbound Delivery?
    Thank you for the help.

    Hi,
You can work with Inbound delivery created via IDOC Triggered from Outbound Delivery, this will carry the HU Data as well. Please refer this wonderful note, which will explain you a lot of things,  Note 1119073 - FAQ: Automatic inbound delivery creation for stock transfers
There are other notes also available for Inbound delivery creation with HU in STO, please browse the notes, if you find any difficulty.

  • MIGO Goods Receipt - error with Movement Types on GR from Inbound Delivery

    Hi,
I am getting an error message when processing a Goods Receipt (MIGO) against an Inbound Delivery with as 2 lines with different movement types, a standard 101 and a 970 (the latter being a user defined movement type for free goods).
The error message I get is 'Movement type 970 is not allowed; only 101 is allowed
    Message no. BORGR622'
This error message only occurs with a Goods Receipt against an Inbound Delivery, we are able to process a similar Goods Receipt using MIGO against a Purchase Order, with two different movement types 101 and 970, without any issues.
It is only a problem with a GR against an Inbound Delivery which is necessary in our MM solution.
As anybody and ideas how to resolve this?  I cannot see anything obvious in config, and have not spotted any SAP OSS notes either.
I should mention that we can process a single line Inbound Delivery and Goods Receipt for the Movement Type 970 also!

Thanks for the reply.  The Price Control Indicator is 'S'.
The solution was set up at my company before I joined, but the different movement type is to enable the free goods stock to make a Finance posting to a Bonus Stock GL Account.  Bonus stock sale update the same account.
As I mention the '970' movement type worked fine with Goods Receipt against a Purchase Order (it was coded into to the user exit).
The MM procedures were changed to use the Inbound Delivery matched to the PO, this had a result that when the Goods receipt was posted in MIGO it posted as 101 movement, as the PO number was not being recognised.
By making a further change to the user exit we able to suggest the '970' movement type, but now get the BORGR622 error I refer to.
'511' is not possible against an inbound delivery either.
