Group by in transaction
Hi All,
I am getting 600+ records for each three Tags for a month and doing group by by using a xslt in Transaction.Currently transaction is taking so much time to execute.
Is there any other way to do Group by in transaction without using xslt?
Thanks & Regards
Manisha
Hi Manisha,
I tried one action Crosstab under XML Functions, it is not exactly group by clause.
you can configure XML columns on which you want to group like tag and month in crosstab action.
After that you can filter your crosstab output data at DrilldownDepth=2 (depends on no. of columns you configured in crosstab).
in result of filter you will get output on tag and month combination.
suppose in your XML you have three columns Tag_Name, Month, Value
(T1, Sep, 10),
(T1, Sep, 20),
(T1, Sep, 15)
Than after applying above logic you will get output like (T1,Sep,45)
Hope it helps!!
Thanks & Regards,

AP: Tolerance Group under payment transactions
Good Morning SAP Folks-
What is the purpose of the tolerance group under payment transactions under the Vendor Master?
Thank you!Hi
Incase of difference in vendor payments(overpayment / underpayment), tolerance group assigned in the vendor master determines whether the difference has to be allowed or not.
Assignment of tolerance group in vendor master is optional. General tolarance for Vendors is set in OBA3 transaction in configuration.

Assigning the Authorization group to particular transaction code
Hi,
How do we Assign the Aughorization group to particular Transaction code with authorization object. Is there any transaction code ?
if anyone know, please let me know.
With Regards,
Prasad. The Tcode is tied to a Program & you can assign the Program to an Authorization Group via its attributes. I don't think there is an option to directly attach a Tcode to an Authn Group.

Hide button 'Group' 'Organisation' in transaction BP
Hello all,
is it possible to hide the button
- Organization: Create Organiztaion
- Group: Create Group
in the transaction BP.
ThanksHello Thomas,
You can hide this buttons making an enhace.
In include LBUPA_DIALOG_JOELF08 the program configure if the button gruop is enabled or not.
After this you can make an enhance such that:
CALL METHOD gv_main_screen->set_function_code_enabled
EXPORTING iv_function_code = gc_function_code-create_group
iv_enabled = ' '.
For button Organisation:
CALL METHOD gv_main_screen->set_function_code_enabled
EXPORTING iv_function_code = gc_function_code-create_organization
iv_enabled = ' '.
I hope this solve your problem.

Short Dumps in standard HR Business Event Group/Event creation transactions
Dear All,
I m getting short dumps whlile executing standard HR transactions for Creation of Business Event Groups and Business Event Types. Attaching the Short Dump text herewith. Can anyone plz. help...
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS', was
not caught in
procedure "RH_BASE_READ_INFTY_NNNN" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a
RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
Eine Open SQL-Klausel wurde dynamisch angegeben. Der darin auftretende
Feldname "SUBTY" kommt in keiner der Datenbanktabellen aus der
FROM-Klausel vor.
Thanks and Regards,
Sudipto.Hi,
Check whether the OSS note 207515 is suitable for the below situation.
Summary
Symptom
A dump occurs in program SAPLRHDB: DBIF_NTAB_TABLE_NOT_FOUND
Additional key words
RH_BASE_READ_INFTY_NNNN, LRHDBU16
Cause and prerequisites
The system wants to access table HRPnnnn particularly by means of an entry in the infotype check table T777D. This access can be processed in various places, including in the profile generator. Here, a termination occurs if the 'ent' table/structure in the dictionary is no longer available. This generally affcts customer-specific infotypes. These have been created and possibly deleted again. However, the entry in table T777D is not available. You can also import the entry into another system with a transport of the table. If the HRP table/structure is then missing, a termination may also occur in this case.
Solution
You must check on an individual basis which infotype the termination refers to. If it is a customer-specific infotype, the customer is responsible for removing the cause of the termination. If the table entry is a 'remnant', the entry can simply be deleted.
If the termination refers to an SAP structure, you should consult SAP before carrying out any further activities.

Problem with user group querys in transaction Ad-Hoc-Quey
Hello experts.
I have one doubt, i need to know how when I execute transaction S_PH0_48000510 (Ad-Hoc-Quey), like obtaining that by defect appear querys of a certain user group. I have tried with the user's parameters AQB, AQQ, AQW but nothing works. Can help me somebody?
Thank you very much.
Regards.Hi Marcos,
Your approach is correct. You set the User Parameters AQW for the Query Area (Standard or Global)AQB for the User Group and AQS for the Infoset. This is set for each individual in their own User Parameter tab (System --> User Profile --> Own Data). This will default the infoset and queries you want. The first screen will appear blank as you enter Ad Hoc Query, but if you click on the Open Folder icon you will see the list of saved queries for that User Group and Infoset. AQQ will give you a particular query every time.
You must make sure the User is assigned to the User Group via SQ03.

Some solution like BADI to populate Authorization Group in BP Transaction
Hello All,
Well, scenario is to populate the screen-field Authorization group BUT000-AUGRP that could be found in Control Tab under box 'Control Parameters' based on provided BP number that bears a logic based on some country validation.
Please help me find some solution for eg: like a BADI that triggers to populate the field Authorization Group.
Or some function module that could be considering the input of the BP number and Authorization group and after its execution, when the BP number is checked in T.code BP we should be able to find the value visible in Authorization Group screen-field.
Just by providing BP number the field Authorization group needs to get populated automatically, as in for both Create and Change mode cases in BP transaction code.
Appreciate your expertise to provide an answer at the earliest.Hi
Please help me any one I am now having the same task to do so -
Automatic determination of Sales Office and Sales Group in a Transaction
Hi CRM gurus,
I was able to perform automatic determination of Sales Org, Division, and Distribution Chanell (Org determination), but still need to do the Sales Office and Sales Sales Group part.
I tried to do this with the Sales Rep in my Lead and Opportunity Transactions. I had 'employee' assigned to the Sales Group in the Org Model, and selected the same BP as Sales Rep in the Transaction, but it did not help. I'll appreciate if you could share your thoughts.
Thanks,
-PrasHi Pras
If there is only one org unit found and this one org unit contains only one sales office / one sales group then it should be filled in automatically. Be sure that they are part of the org profile and determination rule.
If you want to restrict the determination which was found automatically look in this thread ORG.determination - there is a reference to the code where the found org units are displayed and where you can modify the selection.

Hello Friends,
I have a scenario where in I need to pull fund center from one of my custom table based on the Purchasing group maintained against each line item in PR / PO.
Unfortunately I am unable to achieve to met this requirement because of unavailability of exact user exits.
I tried to map this functionality through BADI = IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST~PROCESS_ITEM with below code and it worked also. But unfortunately this works in endless loop until I change the fund center back to it initial value.
Code in BADI mentioned above:
DATA: l_preq TYPE mereq_item.
IF sy-tcode = 'DESIRED'.
CALL METHOD im_item->get_data
RECEIVING
re_data = l_preq.
SELECT SINGLE fistl
FROM ZCUSTOM_TABLE
INTO l_preq-fistl
WHERE ekgrp = l_preq-ekgrp
AND werks = l_preq-werks.
CALL METHOD im_item->set_data
EXPORTING
im_data = l_preq.
ENDIF.
Edited by: Rob Burbank on Jan 26, 2012 12:16 PMHi Raja.....
Sure.. I mean that until I change back the value of fund center to its initial value,, till that time somehow process itself moves this in an endless loop. When forcefully I change value of Fund center which was initial value then it moves forward and take me to initial screen of PR creation.
Also I would recommend not to only focus on this BADI.. Rather if there is any other answer to this issue.. You are most welcome..
Thanks,

Grouping JMS & JDBC transaction with JTA outside of an app server
hi,
Can anyone help me or direct me to some code/configuration that shows how to combine JDBC + JMS into one distributed transaction outside of an app server.
thanks in advance
michaelHi,
Well, transaction guru's please correct what I say here, but from what I
understand of your problem here goes:
If you begin a user transaction your are going to be starting a distributed
transaction. That's the point of doing it, and hence that's why you have an
XA. You have more than once resource participating in a transaction, and
that is what UserTransaction was created for. You can't do it with a local
transaction, which is for one resource only. I hope that answers "why
would I need a XA". Even if both resources are hosted by WebLogic, you have
explicitly asked for a UserTransaction...WL will optimize it if both are on
same server, but still.. In addition, if you have a true XA data source and
connection pool, then I would imagine that WL would list the transaction
system of the DB too....whcih won't be local.
As for your other problem, it seems to me that you have a connection pool of
connections that are not XA-aware. If you set the attribute in the
datasource and enable emulation, then the datasource becomes XA aware, but
only sort of. WL handles the XA behaviour of that resource, but with
limitations (you can't have more than one resource with XA emulation in the
same Tx). If you are using a connection factory with a different store that
uses XA-emulation, as well as straight JDBC from yet another pool using XA
emulation, then you will also get problems. Best is to use a real driver
that supports XA.

Transaction Log Truncate not working on Sql Server 2012 High Availability Groups
Hi Everyone
Firstly I have tried to search the forum for similar issues but can't seem to find any that match our situation.
We have a SQL Server 2012 High Availability Group with 2 Nodes
Node 1 = Primary
Node 2 = Secondary
Backup Schedule as follows
Full Database Backup @ 00:00
Transaction Log Backup every 30 minutes from 00:30:00 till 23:59:59.
These backups are run by Maintenance Jobs, but we have also tried doing direct backups in SSMS using Backup Database and Backup Log commands.
Before we configured the High Availability group the transaction log backups worked fine.
After we configured the High Availability group we performed a Full Backup and the T-Log schedule did the T-Log backup. The 1st T-log backup truncated the log (Used space Decreased) as expected.
However subsequent T-Log backups do not truncate the T-Log.
This happens both in our acceptance and Live environments. This also happens when running the backups as a Backup operator and sysadmin, this does not seem to be a permissions issue at all.
We have tried running the Backup on the Primary and Secondary Replica.
What about High Availability groups could stop Transaction Log Backups from not truncating the log?
Thanks

Purchasing group transacting for multiple purchasing organizations
Hi,
I have a requirement in which i have certain purchasers defined as purchasing groups in my organizational structure. However, these purchasing groups perform sourcing transactions (e.g., bid invitation, auction) for multiple purchasing organizations. In the organizational structure, these purchasing groups are created under an organizational unit that isn't defined as a purchasing organization. They appear "free-floating" since they are not assigned to a particular purchasing organization.
In sourcing transactions (e.g., bid invitation, auction), the list of purchasing groups from which I can choose from depends on the purchasing organization I select. Is there a way to include the "free floating" purchasing groups in the drop-down list?
Thanks and regards,
JoyHi Joy,
Its difficult to have a P.Grp with out a P.Org assignment.
My idea would be:
Assign this P.Grp to one of the P.Orgs (lets say POrg1). Add the entire root as the responsibility of this P.Grp.
When the Purchasers in this P.Grp create a Bid Invitation, the POrg1 will be defaulted always.
At the time of saving the Bid Invitation, use the "BBP_PGRP_ASSIGN_BADI" BADI to overwrite POrg1 value with any other POrg you desire.
You may test it out.
Cheers,

SHD0 transaction - Set Variant Group for VA01
Hi Guru,
please can you help us fixing Variant Group for VA01 transaction, only for specific user?
We created a standard variant in SHD0 for VA01 tansaction and we assigned this variant to specific user group.
Problem is that for these users in the group, standard variant is not imported into Sales Order (no screen settings are imported).
If we assign the same Standard Variant into Order Type it works perfectly.
Can you help us using this variant also for specific user (Variant Group)?
Thank you very much

Assign authorization group to transaction
Hi,
I have to assign a auth group to Z-transaction. How can i do this.
Thanks,Hi,
What type of paramater transaction you have created? Have you created a paramater transaction for a view or a table?
I think when you create a parameter transaction the authorization is controled from the parent transaction and not in the tcode definition.
You can use S_TCODE to assign the paraeter transaction to any user and control it based on the user profile.
Cheers
