Grouping reqs by Need by Date using Requisition Import

Requisition import is not considering need by date for grouping requisitions. Is there a way to achieve this?

Is there a way to import data using oracle import...

Is there a way I can import tables into my workspace from other schemas or from remote databases without having to create csv files of the data I want and loading it into html_db? I'd like to either just use a db link or something to report on data in a remote database or use Oracle's import utility to import a whole schema into my workspace. Is this possible?

Sure is. Your workspace has one or more schemas assigned to it. You can use any of those methods. If you need to import a whole schema, you will need to go into the HTML DB administration utility and associate the new schema with your workspace.

Requisition import has grouped all the requisition lines in one requisition

I need a help.
Requisition import has grouped all the requisition lines (having sourcing supplier and inventory)in one requisition
for whcih the type lookup code is 'Purchase'. the source of requisition was MRP. How the system can group the items having different sourcing(few are from supplier and few are from inventory) into one requisition.
Is this the oracle standard functionality

See req import group by parameter is playing a role here..
I think maybe it is considering ALL and clubbing together to one..not sure though

Getting error while importing the data using loadercli

Hello,
I want to copy the data using export/ import via (loadercli).
scenario:
1) I have 2 server and i want to export data from old server and import in to new MAXDB server using loadercli.
I have done this once and it went fine , but now I want to do the export import again so i will have te latest data on the new server.
when i tried to do that it gives error that the table already exist . Can i use loadercli to import hte data again ?
can any one help me in this ?

I gave you an easy to follow set of steps.
As you don't seam to mind the outcome, just might just use them...

Yes, you do have the SAPR3 user.
But you don't seem to like to read documentation or learn about how the tools work or anything like that.
Therefore I gave you s simple way to reach your goal.
Of course it's possible to reuse the user.
But then you would have to deal with already existing tables, already existing data etc.
You don't seem to be able to do that. So, the easy steps might be better suited for your needs.

Using export/import to migrate data from 8i to 9i

We are trying to migrate all data from 8i database to 9i database. We plan to migrate the data using export/import utility so that we can have the current 8i database intact. And also the 8i and 9i database will reside on the same machine. Our 8i database size is around 300GB.
We plan to follow below steps :
Export data from 8i
Install 9i
Create tablespaces
Create schema and tables
create user (user used for exporting data)
Import data in 9i
Please let me know if below par file is correct for the export :

I recommend you to change some parameters and remove
others:

structure ( It is good )

can have problems with some objects

How to update need by date in Purchase order using an API?

Hi All,
Is there any API available in 11i which can be used to update the need by date in purchase order?
There is a API PO_CHANGE_API1_S.UPDATE_PO, but it updates only the promise date and not the need by date.

Your error comes from Sybase, so I suggest you post your question to a Sybase forum. And be aware that Sybase does not use the same tsql dialect as sql server, so you must use their dialect (if, indeed, there is any difference in this particular situation).
One note - there should be no space between "N" and the Unicode string literal to which it applies in tsql. E.g.,
= N'Executive Chair эюя'
not
= N 'Executive Chair эюя'

IChat uses better Video Compression than Skype does.
On a top flight Mac you can send a 640 X 480 pixel frame up to 30 frames a sec.
Skype can't match this.
iChat in Video is Peer to Peer. (you can actually Log out of the Buddy list)
Skype seems to borrow something from everyone's bandwidth to make connections.
What do you mean by Business account Tracking ?
iChat Adds (or can add) the First Name, Last Name of your Buddies and create an Address Book Entry
Whether you mark those cards connected with a company is up to you.
(I have heard of issues with earlier version of iChat and the Address Book that "saw" the Company Name as the part of the Name and linking several Screen Names to the one name
Audio on a Mac using Skype tend to be the same as the streaming needs are less.
However you have to rely on any PCs audio abilities from PCs which may not be to the same standard.
Mac to PCs in iChat and AIM can be difficult though. (It should work but it rarely as simple as Plug and go)
Skype may suit your needs better on ocassions.

Suggestions needed on retracting bw data using Infospokes

Unable to dump the BW 3.5 Info cube data using info spokes.
Info cube contains huge historical data (5 Crores),
we are using maximum selection conditions on available time characteristics in info cube.

It will always fail for such a huge dataset. You can reduce dataset by applying filter in selection tab of infospoke.You can divide data of the cube may be on 0FISCYEAR or some other field and then dump based on that field. That will run better.

Need Help..!! Loading Data Using Outline Load Utility - No Data

I've tried to load data using Outline Load Utility but the data is not loaded into my Essbase.
Here are the step what I've done :
1. In planning, Administration > Data Load Settings
- Entity as the data load dimension,
- Account as the driver dimension and selected Rental, test_desc as the member
2. The .csv file
Entity, Rental, test_desc, Point-of-View,Data Load Cube Name
TLT, 100, 100, "FY11,Plan,Working,No Product,No Condition Type,No Vehicle Type,No Term Period,No Term,No Movement, Local, Apr", Retail
3. Run the Outline Load through cmd
E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\Planning\planning1>OutlineLoad /A:PLNDEV /U:xyz /M /N /I:E:/testload.csv /D:Entity /L:E:/OutlineLogs /X:E:/outlineLoad.exc
and below it the OutlineLogs :

No data rejected there, but when I tried to retrieve the data from my Planning Form or Essbase Add-In, there is no data.
Do I miss something in my step above..??

From the OutlineLogs (Planning Outline load process finished (with no data load as specified (/N)). 1 data record was read, 1 data record was processed, 1 was accepted, 0 were rejected.), it doesn't mean the data successfully loaded, isn't it...??

Need info on using external tables load/write data

We are planning to load conversion/interface data using external tables feature available in the Oracle database.
Also for outbound interfaces, we are planning to use the same feature to write data in the file system.
If you have done similar exercise in any of your projects, please share sample code units. Also, let me know if there
are any cons/limitations in this approach.
