Groupwise Mobile Issue - multiple SOAP Ports

Hi All,
I'm having an issue with Groupwise Mobile.
I've got multiple POAs hosted on the same server (using different ports), and GMS can only access one of them. The one that it can access is using the standard 7191 SOAP port.
Is there a trick to get mail to pass across another port? Users can authenticate, but synchronization doesn't work.
Thanks,
Matt

It seems to be working now. But I'm not sure how I fixed it.
To complicate things, I think I was suffering from two separate issues that presented themselves as one problem.
One of the changes I made was to install GWM as a trusted app, rather than using user based authentication. This seemed to help GWM access POAs with SOAP ports other than 7191.
The other "issue" I had seemed to "heal" itself. The user account I was using to troubleshoot this showed up with the following message in it's inbox:
Syncing resumed - password resupplied
Your password was resupplied, and Intellisync Mobile Suite is now syncing normally again
...so I'm assuming that GWM was caching bad authentication data. I just couldn't seem to get this data to flush out, even after deleting and re-adding the user in GWM, cycling services, and rebooting servers.

  • GroupWise Mobile Server Issue

Recently our GroupWise Mobile server crashed. It was running on a virtualized Windows 2003 server. In trying to get it rebuilt and functional I have came across 2 issues.
    1. When asked to provide (during reinstalling of Intellisync Mobile suite) GroupWise server address to be used along with port 7191 the username and password are returned saying unable to connect. The thing here is that I can use that same username/pw on GroupWise itself and successfully log into e-mail.
    2. When I try and access http://10.3.2.6:7191 or http://mail.usd376.com:7191 I get the following error message in my browser.
    HTTP/1.1 200 Date: Mon, 25 Oct 2010 10:59:42 GMT Server: NetWare GroupWise POA 8.0.1 Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 268 Pragma: no-cache 59905Bad parameter passed to a NCSP function
    Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I'm a little unclear of what you are saying.
To access the SOAP part of the POA, the URL would be:
    http://10.3.2.6:7191/soap
Are you saying that is not the case or are you stripping
    off the /soap part?
What request are you trying to execute?
I would expect a SOAPAction header as well.
Also is SSL enabled and you are trying to access it without
    SSL?

  • SOAP ports with cluster setup and BES?

Okay, our cluster setup in NetWare (yes, still NetWare cluster) with Groupwise 7.0.3 we have unique TCP ports for the client/server (like 1677-something). Even though each clustered node has a unique IP and is running in protected memory.
    That being said:
We'd like to enable SOAP for use with BES and GWArchive.
    The issue/question:
Do either of these figure out the SOAP port for each PO? Or must the SOAP port be the same among all the PO's for BES to work properly?
If the SOAP port must be the same (I'm not the BES admin, so I don't know if the setup lets you specify just one port or if you can defined them per PO), can you run multiple POA on the same physical host (keep in mind, this is clustered with protected memory) and use the same TCP port # for SOAP?

I haven't used BES, but in general there's no auto-discover method for
SOAP ports, so yes they'd probably have to be the same port.

  • Soap port already in use (856B) GW 703

Anyone run into this problem where if you have multiple POA's on single server and if you enable SOAP to use default port of 7191 on both POA's, one or other POA complains about "soap port already in use (856B)" and shuts down that POA.
BES doesn't seem to have option for add'l port number assignments? Or is there a workaround to allow both POA's to listen on same port number?
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

Makes sense. You can't run multiple services on the same server using
the same IP address and port.

Use multiple IP addresses and bind each POA to a specific IP.

    Hello forum members!
We have an issue with an smartphone BlackBerry Q10 (OS version 10.1.0.4181) using Groupwise Mobility Service version 2.0.1 revision 53, installed on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11 patchlevel 3.
When the user replies to an external e-mail, the recipient gets an e-mail with the message body empty.
This does not happen when replying to internal users. In that case the text message arrives without problem.

  • Multiple SOAP fault support in PI?

    Hi Guys,
We have a webservice that has multiple SOAP faults as part of the WSDL. Normally a sync WS will have a request, a response and a fault. My question is does PI support multiple faults?
If i look at the SI, it lets me add multiple fault messages. Even in operation mapping, I get the option of doing the multiple mappings for multiple faults. But when I test, it throws up an error mentioning that the mapping does not exist in the cache. If I remove the multiple faults in SI (only provide one fault) and hence the same in OM, it works perfectly fine. But PI doesn't seem to like multiple faults in SI and OM and hence mess things up during runtime.
So does PI really support multiple faults? Can it handle multiple faults being triggered from the target and route it to the source application?

Ok, we analyzed this further and here is one answer:
Synchronous service operations can absolutely handle more than one fault message. We checked this with ABAP-Proxy to  ABAP-Proxy and also ABAP-Proxy to SOAP Adapter.
The problem we had before was due to a missing namespace information: in the response the namespace qualifier of the top level tag of the individual fault in the SOAP Envelope was not set.
Here is my hypotheses about what happens: If there are more than one fault messages mapped in an operation mapping, the system must be able to find the correct one. To do that, not only the fault message tag name, but also its namespace must be set precisely in the response message. Otherwise the massage processing stops and a u2018missing mapping programu2019 is reported. Since the correct message mapping corresponding to the actual fault received could not be identified, in the error reported in the message log the system refers to the next best thing it has at that point which is the ID of the operation mapping. However, that is a bit misleading, since the operation mapping itself was found and there is nothing wrong with it.
    Hope that helps
    Eberhard

  • Message Split using BPM for Multiple SOAP Receivers

    hi,
I have a scenario where in i have to split the message coming from IDOC(SOURCE) to multiple SOAP(TARGET) receivers through BPM
I took a single file as a scenario and tested it. It worked fine.
I am using only a single output interface.
    I have followed this weblog
    /people/sudharshan.aravamudan/blog/2005/12/01/illustration-of-multi-mapping-and-message-split-using-bpm-in-sap-exchange-infrastructure
but this blog has 2 output interfaces whereas in my case i just only one output interface that i want to route to multiple receivers based on the value in the PARVW in the IDOC.
    Thanks,
    Tirumal

    hi ,
this is done using CONDITIONAL RECEIVER DETERMIANTION.
While doing your reciver determiantion, you can specify multiple receivers and also specify the condition on which the receiver is to be choosen.
Also, just check the last path of this blog for the same,

  • How to submit data from multiple Input Ports in single SUBMIT button  click

    Hi,
    I am in SPS8.
What exactly steps I need to perform to submit data from multiple Input Ports.
I couldn't able to submit One input Form and one Input Table to BAPI data service in single SUBMIT button click.
I debugged the VC application in SPS8.
While debugging, I found that when I click the SUBMIT button in the Input Form, Only data in that Input
form are being passed to the BAPI, But not the Table Form data.
If I click on the SUBMIT button in another Input Table, Only data from that table is being passed to the BAPI, but not the Input form data.
Essentially I need to submit both of them in one SUBMIT button.
    Thanks,
    Ramakrishna

    Ramakrishna,
From the word document that you sent to me the steps you are missing to map the appropriate information into the BAPI is first you are not mapping all data rows into the table input port. To do this double click on the input table view and change your selection mode from single to multiple. Then when you click on your link between the BAPI and your input table you will see a new option appears under data mapping "Mapping Scope" select All Data Rows.
That's the first part of the problem to get the BAPI to recognize both the inputs coming from the form and the table eliminate the submit button from the form. Drag and drop a link from the output port of the table view to the Input port of the BAPI. Double click on the link between the BAPI and the table view and open the expressions editor for the two fields:
    1/ Automatic Source
    2/ SKIP_ITEMS_WITH_ERROR
On the hierarchical folder structure on the right expand expand the Data Fields node to find the fields from the form and map them accordingly.
Now when you hit the submit button on your table it should pass the BAPI all the parameters from both the form and the table.
    Hope this helps,
    Cheers,
    Scott

  • Multiple Input ports - Single Form

    Hi,
I have a RFC which has multiple input ports. How do i use a single form to provide data to all the input ports.
    Regards
    Bharathwaj

    Hi,
you can create the single form direct, if you pull a line out of the RFC, then the form must be created with the fields. If not, then you have to create it manually and map the fields with the input port.
