GTS activated @FI for SPL and Embargo- need resrtictions
Hi All,
We have activated SAP GTS for FI in R/3 system for SPL screening and Embargo check purposes, but there is no restriction for specific company codes.
Right now we are using GTS for Europe alone, so we need FI activation only for Europe company codes. But it is impacting all other company codes, the impact is getting error message while processing payment transctions due to GTS activation.
How do we restrict specific company codes for SPL screening and Embargo check in FI module, is there some config or we need any some user exists.
Please provide your valuable inputs which will help us.

Thanka for your reply. It is applicable for both master data and transactional data transfer. Already we have master data transfer filter user exit in place. Now we need to develop similar for transactional data.
I have one more question, is SPL and Embargo screening happens for all FI transactions or for few transactions like F110, F111 and FBZ4, please confirm the same?
I think we need to follow same method for Logistics also.

There are a number of options that can solve this issue.
1.) Obsolete applogs can be deleted using TA SLG2. Please
try this possibility.
2.) Setup of control profiles
Check the definition of control profiles. In field Log Backup you
have two choices:
- Save current log and delete old log
- Save current log and retain old log
to avoid an overflow I recommend to use the or option.
Path: SAP GTS Customizing > General settings > Define control
profile for logging
3.) It is not advisable to run search term generation for a high number of
BP's at one go. Please restrict the selection further.
This is true both for search terms generation and B1,C1 scenario.
The ideal number of BP is 30-40K. Please create
multiple jobs and run these jobs serially. This will not only
prevent memory problems, but also improve overall performance.

Yea I am. I deleted Logic Pro 9 and moved the App to the Trashcan like normal. Then when I go to install it, it says its already Installed. When I do this with other apps; it works fine, the install thing comes back up like it should once you have deleted the app

Most Adobe software is written for one of two platforms, Mac or PC. In order to switch platforms you need to be using the most current version, so CS4 would not be supported for making this switch. Here is a link to a page that explains the requirements for switching platforms....

When i try to download the new version of iTunes, I get an error message saying the download was for 32bit and I need the 64bit. How do i download 64bit?!?!
Which I get. But clicking on that link you provided does not give you the option of choosing between 32 and 64 bit installers.
Yeah, that was certainly a 32-bit installer file being referred to in the other message, too. (The 64-bit installer file is called iTunes64Setup.exe.)
Just in case it's an issue with your normal browser not working properly with the system-detection equipment on the page (there's a javascript control that checks for operating system specifics, and is supposed to deliver the correct Mac or Windows installers), let's try a different web browser for the download. If you use Firefox instead of IE (or vice versa), do you get offered an iTunes64Setup.exe instead of an iTunesSetup.exe? -

NIFBUS activation code for HSE and LD not accepted
I moved NI-FBUS configurator to a new computer. When licensing, the software serial number was accepted, but when I tried to activate the software for HSE and for a NI linking device, it rejects the license code. The software was purchased by Phoenix Contact and I am installing it for a demonstration they are trying to put together. SInce the person who purchased it is not available, I do not know what options he or she may have purchased with it, or if the HSE and LD requires a separate code.

If you're in Bangladesh, then there is no iTunes Store that you can use. Each country's iTunes Store is limited to those actually in that country. E.G from the terms of use for the iTunes Store:
The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. Apple may use technologies to verify your compliance.
When or indeed if Apple will ever be able to open an iTunes Store in Bangladesh no one here will know.
If you are physically in the US using a US-based account, post back and we'll go from there.

Hi,
my website is http://mysafety.be and although the site displays perfect in Firefox and IE7 and IE8, there is a problem with the display in IE6. The layout has a header, a left column (for a flyout menu) and a main content body to the right of the left column.
The pages are deisgned with fluid design; I use some specific rules for IE7 and IE6 to get the dropdown and flyout menus work. The dropdownmenu is formatted "menu" and the flyout menu is formatted "menu1". The dropdown and flyout menus have each specific rules for IE6.
What happens in IE6 is that the main content body drops to below the left column.
Following style rules are applied:
1. the main body style:
width: 90%
margin right: 5%
margin left: 5%
max-width: 1200px
min-width: 900px
2. the left column (menu1) style:
float: left
height: 920px
width: 200px
3. the main content style:
height: 900px
overflow: auto
padding: 10px
4. in the main body style (main.css) I also have following specific IE hacks:
* html #body {margin-top:0px}
*:first-child+html {margin-top:27px}
5. the IE6 only style for the left menu specifies no dimensions other then this:
display: block
left: 105px
position: absolute
top: 0
width: 105px
There are no IE6 only stylings for the main content, which is why I am puzzled that in IE6 the main content drops below the left column.

Erikyes, it is fixed; sorry I did not give an update yet. I will now.
I discovered several things wrong.
1. I used a styling for the flyout menu that was not correct; this is the page I got my flyout from: http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/flyout_4level.html and I discovered that I used two stylings (one regular, and one for IE), while the styling included with this menu had the IE instructions included. Conflicts.
2. I found another error in the positioning of the picture below the ol in the page; IE would read the styling in such a way that the "maincontent" was wider then allowed.
3. I had two hack lines that assigned values for IE7 on one line, and on the other values for IE6, this last one was incorrect.
So, solved now. Thanks for the follow up, Murray.

An embargo is a government prohibition against the shipment of particular products to a particular country for economic or political reasons.
SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) provides an embargo service that helps you manage import and export processes in global trade. The embargo service automatically checks whether there are any "critical" business partners contained in your customs document, that is, whether the business partners are in an embargo situation. If there is an embargo situation, the document is blocked for further processing. Essentially, the embargo service enables you to map all possible combinations of legal regulations using three functions in combination with one another
Sanctioned Party List Screening
A sanctioned party list contains a list of persons and companies with whom trade is prohibited by law. These boycott lists are issued by government agencies and can be obtained from data providers. All traders must comply with these lists.
Sanctioned party list screening lets you compare the addresses of your business partners (such as the consignee) with the sanctioned party lists automatically prior to goods export. It is a system-independent solution that performs and logs the SPL check and is fully integrated into the complete business process.
