GuiXt - text in red, can that be done?

Hi SDN
Have anyone experienze with GuiXt?
My user want's a text added to a screen, and that is no problem, but the user want it to be red and not black.
Is there a way to do this?
I'm just using notepad for the scripts.

The question is already quite old, but just in case that someone is still interested:
Use a 1x1px White Image, eg. "white.gif" and the "Image" command:
Image (2,80) (5,100) "white.gif" textstring="Hello!" textcolor="RGB(200,0,0)" textheight="20" -textcenter
The text can contain variables e.g.
Image (2,80) (5,100) " "white.gif" textstring="Bank account invalid for supplier &V[supplier]" ....

If you want to record a Webinar, you will probably need screen capture software. Every recent Mac comes with QuickTime Player X, which will do this. Just click FIle/New Screen Recording. Then click on the red button to start recording.

You won't be able to, just by navigating out the iPod's photos folder in iTunes. You'll likely need the help of some sort of third party software to get the job done for you. One thing you'll want to keep in mind about these photos is that they are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnail versions that were optimized for viewing on your iPod's Video smaller 2.5" LCD display.

Hang Heading Text outside Frame: Can it be done?

We use text frames that only take up half the page width.
Occasionally, I have a top level heading that breaks onto a second line. I would prefer to keep this text on a single line and have it break out of the text frame (either to the right or the left, depending on the odd/even-ness of the page).
I know I can cut/paste the heading into a new text frame, and apply space above the next body paragraph, but:
this is messy
this breaks the text flow between frames etc
Is there any way I can set a single paragraph to 'break' the border of the text frame?

Hit Escape (the entire cell gets selected), hit Escape again (the cell is deselected and the cursor is at the farmost left position), hit Move Left. Now the cursor is in front of the table. Hit Shift+Right twice, or Shift+Down once, to select the table and its hard return.

i can give error msg , if user enters wrong info in textfiled. But i want to completely disable this textfield so that user cannot enter anything in that text field . Plz giv suggestions for it

Did you ever figure out a way to do this? I'm trying to do the same thing: I want the user to navigate the filesystem through the JList, but NOT be able to directly edit the contents of the textfield.
I think you may be able to search through the JFileChooser for the actual textfield, then set it to non-editable. I've looked at the contents of the JFiledChooser as a Component, but haven't found the textfield. Ideas?

You cannot attach files to an email with the built in mail app. You have to mail attachments from within the app that the files was saved or created - i.e. you can email photos from the Photos App or PDF files from the iBooks app. You can forward an email and include the attachment that was sent to you.
There are third party apps - Group email with attachments - that let you attach files but not the built in mail app.

Locking Vignette to Motion Track in FCP, Can it be done?

I have been watching a tutorial about Apple's Color and there was one section that
used a motion track and connected a vignette to that track. I thought it was neat and
convenient, so the question is, can that be done in Final Cut or the second choice would
be Motion?
The process was elegant in Color but that puts the effect late in post, at out put stage. I know
something similar can be accomplished with key frames. The idea that a motion track can
control an effect is intriguing.

FCP does not have motion tracking. You can send the clip to Motion and Motion track the effect there.
