Gzip filter causes start-up failure in coherence v3.1

I've just moved to coherence version 3.1 and now my override XML file with the filter configuration causes an exception at start-up.
This is the piece that causes the failure:
<outgoing-message-handler>
<use-filters>
<filter-name>gzip</filter-name>
</use-filters>
</outgoing-message-handler>
Simply commenting out the filter-name (as in the original file) allows the server to start up:
<outgoing-message-handler>
<use-filters>
<!--filter-name>gzip</filter-name-->
</use-filters>
</outgoing-message-handler>
How do I enable the gzip filter under v3.1?
Thanks
Walter

    Intercompany Deliveries were created with zero quantity, causing an idoc failure and the remaining delivery too
    a. User trying to create delivery but stock not available.
    b. When stock is not there it should show an error message in SAP screen but its not -  like stock not available etc
    c. Fedex gets delivery notice for the delivery; if its more than zero it will create delivery otherwise less than zero it won’t accept.
    d. But issue its creating even its less than zero
    Is there anyone who can help me out...

    When one is created with zero quantities it starts blocking our deliveries from getting through to fedex because deliveries will in doubt have been blocked at fedex. As we process our orders in morning and if there is an STO blocking orders, it will be in afternoon .
    Any suggestions !!!

  • GZIP Filter works sometimes, doesn't other times...

    I downloaded and installed the GZIP Filter from the Bea website. It works great most of the time. But in doing some performance testing, I found that the output for some pages is compressed some of the time but not others. I also found some pages were never compressed during the testing. Does anyone know what would cause this?
    Thanks.

    Are you using fixed IP addresses or are you using DHCP?
    Change to static (fixed) IP addresses and when you hit ⌘ K then enter the IP address of the other Mac.

  • Mac Pro Start up Failures: Fix

    My Mac Pro 1.1 under OSX 10.7.5 just suffered from multiple start-up failures.
    It would load it's system...the "loading clock" spun a while and then go to black. I still had cursor control and CD tray function.
    I ran the system install disk, started a hardware diagnostic...and it repeatedly froze.
    I thought I was fried......but without doing a hardware diagnostic...the system install disk could report all my components and memory.
    I zapped the PRAM and still no joy. I finally checked the PRAM Battery..the CR2032 which had never been changed in 7 years.
    I found another one in an Apple Remote I never use...swapped it out..and everything worked fine.
    I've read that in some machines, a bad PRAM battery will cause a black screen.
    Guess that's what I had.
    If you have any startup issues, system loads and screen goes black...trying swapping the PRAM Battery.
    Sounds easy. Took me about 3 hours and repeat startup failures to figure it out.
    Are there any apps that check the PRAM Batterty to know they are starting to go bad?

    Quick update: Had several more "freezes/crashes" after changing PRam battery.
    Tracked it down to the Display Screen Saver.
    When it launched into screen saver, it would freeze after a very short time.
    I disabled the screensaver and adjusted my energy savings setting to just a few minites so know when i time sout...it goes to black.
    It comes on with a mouse click with no problem.
    Hopes it lasts.
    I ran diagnostics on the video card/memory and it passed with no problems.
    Something has corrupted my system which had been stable for quite a while.

    This event is generated when a logon request fails. It is generated on the computer where access was attempted.
    The Subject fields indicate the account on the local system which requested the logon. This is most commonly a service such as the Server service, or a local process such as Winlogon.exe or Services.exe.
    The Logon Type field indicates the kind of logon that was requested. The most common types are 2 (interactive) and 3 (network).
    The Process Information fields indicate which account and process on the system requested the logon.
    The Network Information fields indicate where a remote logon request originated. Workstation name is not always available and may be left blank in some cases.
    The authentication information fields provide detailed information about this specific logon request.
    - Transited services indicate which intermediate services have participated in this logon request.
    - Package name indicates which sub-protocol was used among the NTLM protocols.
    - Key length indicates the length of the generated session key. This will be 0 if no session key was requested.

    Well I opened the case for him and he never followed up with Microsoft :-(
    It's a kerberos issue, we're told to ignore it.  Would you be willing to be patient and stubborn and work with CSS to at least understand what's going on better?  I can tell you it's normal with Essentials but not the exact technical reason it's
    happening.
    Unfortunately TechNet isn't coming back, sorry folks :-(

  • Nokia E61 system error, phone start-up failure

    Good day I did a software update(RM89) on my E61 phone. After completion and start up my phone gave me a system error and then phone start up failure. How can i reset or go in to safe mode to rective to problem?

    The only things you can try are:
    1) Read this post in the Pool of Knowledge:
    Recovering from a failed update
    and 2) Take your phone into a Nokia Care Point. Note that if your phone is still in the warranty period and it got bricked as a result of using NSU, the repair is covered under the warranty.

  • Option Icon 452 is causing a critical failure. Suggestions?

    Option Icon 452 is causing a critical failure as soon as I put it into the USB slot.  It seems that loading the wrong drivers for it or thinking its something that its.
    Each            time I put the 452 into the USB slot I immediately get an error in which the screen            takes on a shade of gray and a black box in 6 languages            appears saying "You need to restart your computer. Hold down            the power button until it turns off" - I cannot do anything            besides that and if I leave the modem attached and restart            the same error appears as soon as it boots up. Once I take            it off I'm able to restart normally again. Not sure what            that problem is but it seems rather critical.
    I'm not having any other problems with my macbook and I have a friend who tested the Option iCon 452 on his macbook and had no problems. So I'm kinda muddled.
    thanks for any suggestions.

  • Graduated Filter always starts at top/bottom of frame LR 2.1 final

    My understanding is that a Graduated Filter effect should start where you initially click in the frame, and continue down/up until you've stopped dragging. If I'm dragging down, the filter always starts at the top of the frame (NOT where I initially clicked). Dragging up, it always starts at the bottom. Am I missing something here?
    (Windows XP)

    Thanks for your responses so far.
    Jao: so it works as expected for you.
    Don: say I've clicked at the mid-point of the frame and dragged down. I can indeed adjust the resulting LOWER bar with the results I expect (I can raise/lower the point at which the filter effect stops). And, as I lower/raise the upper bar, the effect (lower exposure, in this case) BETWEEN the bars behaves as expected.
    BUT, the section of the frame between the upper bar and the top of the frame (which should not be affected at all) remains "maximally affected", i.e., exposure in the entire section has been lowered (as it was from the initial application of the filter).
    Maybe this is a bug, since Jao gets the expected results?

  • Filter causes browser to wait for more data

    Using the J2EE RI, I notice that under certain circumstances my filter causes IE 5.5 and Netscape 4.7 to spin, waiting for data which doesn't exist, after my page has been fully recieved. My filter simply replaces the HTTP output stream with it's own, chains the request, and then reads the length of the response before passing it through unmodified.
    The odd thing is that one must call response.getWriter() before chaining, otherwise the waiting behavior occurs. Can anyone explain this, or suggest a tool to snoop on the response headers, or point me toward documentation of this behavior?
    Thanks,
    James

    Hi,
    Did you resolve this issue? I have the same problem. I appreciate if you could please let me know what the problem was.
    Thanks

    Sunil. </b>

    I had exactly the same problem as you.
    I found I did something really dump & In weblogic, where you specify the arguements for using the Class paths, I accidentally placed a space inbetween an arguement.
    In the following location of the weblogic console:
    Domain\Clusters\Cluster_Name\Configuration Tab\Remote Start Tab\Arguements
    Instead of having say:
    -Xms768m -Xmx768m -Xgc:gencon -Xns:128m -Dcom.vignette.portal.installdir.path=C://portal
    I had:
    -Xms768m -Xmx768m -Xgc:gencon -Xns:128m - Dcom.vignette.portal.installdir.path=C:/portal
    Spot the mistake ;)
    This was enough to make the compiler fail with the following error:
    ERROR: Could not find class java/io/Serializable.
    ERROR: library init failed on commons.
    Could not create the Java virtual machine.

    Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Thunderbird. TB updated recently to V31.0 and SMTP login problems started.
    Worked fine before update. ISP BTinternet.com in UK. Removed and reinstalled Accounts and checked and changed passwords in attempt to resolve problem. Web access works fine so account is OK.

    How to edit the SMTP username string to remove these extraneous characters?

    Hi Matt,
    Thanks for replaying.
    Not that I am aware of. This is ubuntu 14.04 LTS so there is no anti virus software running and no proxy. Straight to my broadband router and out to the wide world.
    I'm currently tryinf to trace where the login string is stored to see if I can clean it up there.
