Had to download Firefox to complete a questionnaire, did that, but every time I try to complete the questionnaire, I am told I have to download Firefox to continue.

I have to complete a document for a new job. I use a macbook. When I clicked to start the questionnaire, I got a prompt saying I had to either download Firefox or Internet Explorer (have safari currently). I downloaded Firefox (a few times now!).
Now when I try to complete the questionnaire, i get the same message saying I need to download either Firefox or Internet Explorer. The questionnaire never appears.
This is hugely frustrating.
