Please let us know how to Perform Upgrade ERP database 11g and ATG7 with SSO integation .
    Regards .

We have completed to upgrade ERP database from 9.2.0.6 to 11.2.0.1 and also apply ATG 7 on Test instance.
And user finish testing , there is no issue after upgrade and application can work as normal.
On Test instance we didn't implement Single Sign On
But on Production we have Single Sign ON.
Now we plan to upgrade on Production instance. But we afraid that we will found any issue on Production relate to SSO. Becase we don't have a chance to test it.
    My question is:
Are there any spacial step we need to do if we have implemented SSO After upgrade DB 11g and ATG 7?

  • Prerequisites for upgrading 2005B to 2007B

    Hi
Can anyone send me a pdf file which suggests prerequisites for upgrading 2005B to 2007B
in the 2005 B database so that system can work properly?
    Thanks

    Dear Rupinder,
All the details to upgrade your actual version to 2007B are available in the Service Market Place.
    Kindly review it on:
http://sap.service.com > Channel Partner Portal > Solutions > SAP Business One
Installations and Updates > Updates for SAP Business One "SAP Business One 2007"
    > SAP BUSINESS ONE 2007 B
Below the details included in this page:
Two upgrade packages are currently available for a restricted period of time. Upgrade package 00 will be removed from the SAP Business One software download area after a certain grace period, which starts with the availability of Upgrade package 08.
PL08 has been positioned as upgrade package to enable partners to upgrade their customer installations directly from previous releases. This is the default package to use for upgrading customer installations.
Customer installations must be upgraded via Upgrade package 00 only, if Software Solution Partner (SSP) Add-Ons are to be installed which so far have only been validated by the respective SSP against any patch file PL01-07.
We invite you to review your actual version and apply the most appropiated upgrade patch.

    Hi,
I would suggest you to upgrade portal as well, as it contain ESS patches and this should be in sync with ECC version.

  • Upgrading ERP 4.7C to Netweaver ?? Suggestions needed

    hello friends,

Netweaver . We are on discussion goals about this upgradation. If anyone has gone through this upgradation do pass you comments .

    Hi,
The most logic step is to upgrade to ERP 2005. When going to NW only, you will loose all your ERP functionality like HR, Financials, etc.
Upgrade guides can be found at service.sap.com/upgrade-erp

  • What are the prerequisites for upgrading to CU7

I've been trying to get a definitive list of prerequisites for the upgrade to Exchange 2013 CU7, but every time I find another site with info it says something different.
I know I need to have Domain functional level at 2008 SP1 to run the Schema extension, no problem there. However, I found something that tells me I need to have the Exchange servers running .NET Framework 4.5.2 and Windows Management Framework 4.0, but the
same site then says this is actually needed on the machine used to prepare AD. that means it needs to be one of the domain controllers running these.
Other sites say these need to be installed but do not say which server(s) need them.
Can anyone give me the list of prerequisites? The information I managed to find on the Microsoft site mentioned nothing about the domain functional level, I only found this requirement after trying to run the schema extension and getting a report the DFL
needs to be 2003 native mode or above, I ran a targeted search for DFL requirements and found a table listing this for different versions of Exchange.
This is frustrating to say the least, makes carrier pigeons seem a viable alternative right now!

Thanks to everyone who has replied, but the fact 3 different people have replied and given varying replies is what I was talking about.
Microsoft, in the prerequisites information found at
    https://technet.microsoft.com/library/bb691354(v=exchg.150).aspx say this
    Active Directory preparation
The computer you want to use to prepare Active Directory for Exchange 2013 has specific prerequisites that must be met.
Install the following software, in the order shown, on the computer that will be used to prepare Active Directory:
The version of Microsoft .NET Framework that corresponds to the version of Exchange 2013 you're installing.
Exchange CU7 and later   .NET Framework 4.5.2
Exchange CU6 and earlier   .NET Framework 4.5.1
The version of Windows Management Framework that corresponds to the version of Exchange 2013 you're installing.
Exchange 2013 SP1 or later   Windows Management Framework 4.0
    Exchange 2013 CU3   Windows Management Framework 3.0
but from what others say, installing .NET 4.5.2 before installing CU7 will break Exchange services.
I think I'm just going to try the schema extension without installing anything and see what happens, if I still have my job after this I will let you know

If you need 10.5 (Leopard) or 10.6 (Snow Leopard) for upgrading 10.4.11 or earlier, realize the following:
    1. Mac OS X 10.5 may no longer be available on Apple's authorized reseller websites, however, Apple's online store phone number sometimes has 10.5 available for purchase. You may also find it in stores that specialize in used or refurbished Macs.
    2. Neither Mac OS X 10.5 nor Mac OS X 10.6 is available for download legally.
    3. Mac OS X 10.5 and above restrict your access to Mac OS 9, as is covered by this user tip:

    4. Mac OS X 10.5 has these system requirements:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3759
Some Macs may be able to upgrade to 10.5 with unsupported system capabilities, using a third party software
called LeopardAssist. No Mac can upgrade to 10.6 without the the requirements for 10.6 being met.

    6. Make sure all your software and hardware is compatible with your desired operating system upgrade before installing.
That means if a software says it is compatible with 10.5 or above, it is only compatible with 10.5 and 10.5.1.
If it says it is compatible with 10.5.x and above, it is only compatible with 10.5, 10.5.1, and 10.5.2.
If it says it is compatible with 10.5 to 10.5.4, you can't say for certain if it is compatible with 10.5.5 through 10.5.8.
Check with the software or hardware vendor the intention of their compatibility label if uncertain.
    7. Backup your data at least twice, and shut down the computer and remove the backup medium from the computer before upgrading to
any version of Mac OS X.
    8. Note: 10.6, and 10.5 are newer than 10.4.11. 10.4.11 is newer than 10.4.10, and both are newer than 10.4 through 10.4.9.

Both app.execMenuItem("FindAgain") and app.execMenuItem("FindPrevious") work just fine in Acrobat 8 Pro (from the console), but only after manually running the Find version once.
Think about it, all that JS does is call these functions. So calling Find from JS will basically not do anything because you can't specify to it what to search for. Even typing the string you want to search for in the "find" field doesn't work.
If you want to find words in a file using a script you will need to use getPageNthWord.

  • Hardware requirements for SAP ERP 2005 using ECC 6.0

    Hello everyone,
i am already new and need information about the min. hardware requirements for a SAP ERP 2k5 System using ECC 6.0 with IDES 7.10.
I read the Master Guides about ERP, but i am not even more clever than before.
The OS is MS Windows 2k3 Server EE.
The last information i had from another one to this configuration is:
    1 dual-core cpu (? Ghz)
    4-6 GB RAM
    300 GB HDD
Does it fit? Can anyone help me out?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    IDES 7.10?!?
If it's an IDES system you want to set up, HDD space may be the bottleneck. It's sufficient for installation, but you may run out of disk space since note <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1013391">1013391</a> states
    Hardware Requirement
                     MS-SQL  ORACLE   MaxDB   DB2 Win/Unix  AS/400
    DB size (GB):    160     220      220          160       280
Since IDES is for education and training purposes only the rest should be sufficient.
I'm running an ERP 6.0 IDES system (32 bit) on a single core, 3.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB System and 500 GB SAP/DB HDD with pretty good response time.

    Points always appreciated

  • Errors in phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SHADOW_IMPORT_INC for upgrade ERP 6.0 EHP4

    Hello,
I am executing the upgrade to ERP 6.0 EHP4-Stack4 and in the phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SHADOW_IMPORT_INC, i have the follow error:
"SHADOW IMPORT ERRORS and RETURN CODE in SAPK-40001INCPRXRPM.FSD
2EETW165 Function "/RPM/RELATION_MODIFY (/RPM/CONFIG|15)" does not fit into the existing function group "(/RPM/RELATION_DATA|02)".
      Long text:
        Cause
A function module with LIMU FUNC ... was transported in the transport
          request.
An import is only possible if this function module belongs to the same
function group in the target system and
has the same internal number as in the source system.
These conditions were not observed in the target system.
          This problem can occur,
if an entry LIMU FUNC ... is included in a transport request manually
          in the object list editor,
or if a function module is deleted, and then created again under the
same name in another function group, and deletion and creation are
recorded in the same change request.
        System Response
The function module was not imported.
        What to do
You can remove the error by making another transport from the source
system. Transport the affected function groups once more in their
entirety. To do this, use the transport object R3TR FUGR ... .
You can avoid the second type of error (deletion and creation in
          another function group) as follows:
In the ABAP Workbench use the function <LS>Reassign</>, or record the
deletion and the new creation in separate change requests.
Release the change request with the deletion before you release the
change request with the new creation.
    1 ETP111 exit code           : "8"
I don't found the function module or function group in the system, this system is the development instance.
    Regards, Alberto.

    Hi,
I have checked the link before to open my question, but I can't or don't follow the instructions:
    1. Ensure Namespace /RPM is modifiable in SE06
    2. Call transaction SE37
    3.Enter /RPM/RELATION_MODIFY
    4.Select Function module-> Other functions-> Rename
    5.Rename it to /RPM/RELATION_MODIFY_OLD
6.Release the request if one was created in the process
    7.Restart the phase
The Function Module and the Function Group  does not exist in our system. And when I can to create the Function Gorup, I have the follow error in the SE80: "Namespace /RMP/ does not exist", and when I try to create the namespace /RPM/ I don't have the "repair license".
I'm using the EHPI Upgrade tools for the EHP4.

  • SMSY - how to maintain a newely upgraded ERP system

    Hi all.
Some days ago we did an upgrade of our development and test system. As one of the last steps we did the maintenance of the SMSY. Now we are not sure if our maintenance is correct...
At first i will tell you something about the system landscape:
The new systems are ERP 6.0 with enhancement package 4 for HCM and XSS. The main use is FI and Public Sector Management. Additional we use Employee Self Service. In the past via ITS, in the future with an already not installed Enterprise Portal 7.01.
You will find some screenshots [here|http://picasaweb.google.at/lh/photo/zWZV-1N6h-fkVQQJAHHmpw?feat=directlink] and [here|http://picasaweb.google.at/lh/photo/z8DjWjNCu1xrIALCZKfiiA?feat=directlink].
Is "EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01" the right product version for my scenario or do i still have to use ERP 6.0?
How to define the correct main instance? Can "Human capital management" be true?
    Thanks for your help,
    Martin

I'd remove it completely from SMSY.
Then register it in SLD using tx RZ70 (ABAP) and Visual Admin (Java).
Afterwards schedule download of SLD Data in SMSY_SETUP on your SolMan.
You should get the correct information.
If you have questions about this procedure, just let me know.

  • Hardware Rqmts for Upgrade 4.6C to ECC 6.0

We are replacing hardware and need round estimates of % increase to be expected for DASD, MEMORY, and PROCESSOR after upgrade from 4.6C ASCII to ECC 6.0 Unicode.
I thought I saw a thread on that in this forum but cannot find.
    TIA,
    Margie Teppo
    Perrigo Company

    Hi Peter,
    > And for unicode additionally 30% CPU, 50% RAM and Disk 10-20%:
The first 2 are the official SAP figures for all platforms. The third is for iSeries. My experience, is for the third: 5-10%
    The first 2:
CPU: +20-25% (as the DB server was on Unicode before already)
Memory: +25% (or less, as the most part of memory is used in the DB is this is on Unicode already)
but especially the CPU point is still true and pretty high with about 25%, because most of the CPU is taken in the appl server and that was pure ascii before.

  • Trying to make aperture faster. which hardware do I upgrade?

    Hello,
I am no longer satisfied with my aperture work flow speed and while I have been considering upgrading to a new mac pro, I have been told that the lack of optimization for it wouldn't do me much good. hence I figured I'd describe my hardware and workflow and see if any of you could give me a hint as to what upgrades could improve my speeds.
    my hardware:
    17@ mid 2010 mbp
    2.66 ghz, i7
    8gb ram
    nvidia geoforce gt 330m 512mb
    os x 10.7.5
500GB hd, 300GB of that are available
    my workflow:
I tend to shoot with two canon 5d mkIII and a vast amount of 16 to 64gb cf cards.
shooting raw, I easily produce 400 image files (each at 20-25mb) per session.
these get imported onto the hd and then go straight onto a FW 800 external drive.
I do this mainly because I noticed that the computer gets slow when more than 60% of my hd is filled.
I import the images into a new cataloge into aperture and do retouching using the vsco film plugins.
    my problems:
having more than 200 images means the computer slows down radically.
I used to think it was because it sourced the originals on the external fw800 drive but that doesn't seem to be the issue.
my impression is that it's simply struggling with the size of the library.
I noticed that retouch brushes when zoomed in at 100% can't follow my mouse. they just can't keep up.
closing all other apps seems to make no difference.
this seems to be rather basic to me (i.e. since photoshop brushes never have an issue following my cursor)
    my wants:
I would like to eliminate the various "waiting times" during retouching and I am willing to invest in upgrading my hardware.
    my questions:
    - is this a case where upgrading to a 27"imac is the only good option? my ram is maxed out, the only thing I could see doing to this laptop is getting an ssd.
    - would you still choose an imac in spite of the lack of thunderbolt 2? (future proofing — I use new machines for 3-5 years)
    - would a mac mini provide significant performance boost in aperture?
    thank you!

    Hi
I'm using Aperture on 2009 20" iMac - it's a core duo processor with 320Gb HDD of which 235Gb is free and has 8Gb RAM. I store my photos on an external FireWire HDD using a referenced library.
I don't experience any slowness when processing in Aperture - I'm certainly not getting the spinning beach ball, and I'm not experiencing any of the issues with brushes you describe. I notice from your signature that you're using OS 10.7.5 - I assume you have not updated to the latest version of Aperture which I believe requires Mavericks. This might be worth considering. It might be worth upgrading your OS and Aperture to see if this makes a difference before you embark on a costly hardware upgrade.
I've always been advised that increasing RAM provides a speed boost, but this is not an option in your case.
I would guess that the latest iMacs would be faster than either of our machines, but how much faster I'm not sure - increasing RAM TO 16Gb would certainly help, along with the new SSD/HDD Drive - but at a cost.
How close are you to an Apple Store - I'd be inclined to go in and ask for a demo of Aperture running on the latest MacBook Pros and iMacs to see whether it is worth upgrading.
    Hope this helps
