Hi,
I've been having alot of trouble logging in over the last day or so. My username is MWBMWB (in capitals). It seems to convert my login name in lower case. I just cannot seem to log in and I know my password is correct I've been using it for years. So much so that I had to create a new username.
Also I posted a topic and got a reply and then it disappeared.
Could someone please look into my login problems.

Gmail to Macmail - Has something changed in last 4 days?

I use Gmail for my mail. In the last 4 days Emails from one of my customers are coming into my MacMail with only the subject line showing up but the body of the email is blank except for the company logo. These emails have been showing up fine for the last 3 years. If I go directly to my Gmail acount the message is there with all the information. Has something change? I have contacted the customer and nothing has changed on their end and since it shows up in Gmail I would think it is on Macmail's end. Has anyone else had this issue?

Select the mailbox with the problem emails, then click Mailbox in the menu bar and select Rebuild.

This is normal when downloading app or purchasing music, books etc. what are you doing when you are asked for the Apple ID and password?
Perhaps you signed out of your Apple ID in Settings. sign back in.

Hi, I have recently purchased some new songs but can not seem to find them under my regular library. Has something recently changed? I keep dowloading it but still doesnt show in my library.

Sort your library by Date Added, and the newest addtions will appear at the top.
Make sure the search oval is empty, and if you are using Column Browser, make sure that "All" is highlighted in each column. Either of these can prevent items from showing in Music view.

Has something changed in the Arch Installation?

I've seem to run across a few things when I install Arch now. I've installed Arch many times on the exact same computer with the exact same hardware but I'm experiencing some issues. I always use the FTP install.
First, I have no colors anymore when I edit anything in nano (after the installation). Why is that? All i have is a completely fresh install, but no colors. That never used to happen. I haven't changed anything.
Second, even though I select during the install which mirror i would like to keep as my 1st mirror, pacman -Syu will not work. I have to go into into the mirrorlist file and uncomment a mirror. Now that is not a problem at all, but why has that changed?
On top of those things, I have problems now getting GDM to load my xfce4 session, and even without GDM, I can only load xfce4 thru the root login, not my own, and when I install ttf-ms-fonts, i get a error that says the package has different permissions than the /tmp directory, which has never happened before. I think the GDM thing is also a permissions problem for some reason.
But why oh why has Arch changed on me?! Help!

Flash Movie - Has something changed somewhere?

G'day All,
I have a flash .swf which I set to auto play on http://www.bondichill.com
It has worked fine for weeks, but today, both in iWEB on my Mac & on the published site it does not. On iWEB it showed firstly as a "drag graphics here' place marker, then as a Movie clip graphic with a ? & shows the "Q/?' sign on the publish page.
I havent changed anything or any of my cut & past code (to make it autoplay & not loop) since August:

It doesn't recognise either a .mov or a .swf version, either newly exported from flash or the original & is the same for Firefox & Safari, Mac or PC. And yet my Weedy Sea Dragon .mov on "Bondi Beach" page works (Gotta check it out, they are amazing fish related to the Sea Horse)

With QuickTime 7.1.3, Flash content played by QuickTime no longer works. Since iWeb embeds .swf to be played by QuickTime, that's why you have those problems on the viewed page and also why iWeb no longer knows what to do with it.
This solution works for iWeb (it only says Keynote, though)

The PROBLEM is that anyone who has upgraded to the newest QuickTime in order to get videos from iTunes will have the same problem when they view your sites. I'm currently in the process of going through ALL my pages and changing the .swf email link at the bottom to something that only uses QuickTime. I figured that'd be easier than trying to explain to people how to activate a QuickTime parameter.

I don't think I did anything different when I uploaded the files.
Some new security must be applied when the files are uploaded now.
Is this the correct new behavior?
It's probably not normal to use Static Files outside of Apex, but I have used them in the past to share files on this forum.

To finish beating this dead horse, I guess I could install an application from the renamed file and see what happens to the static file.
But I probably will not.

Has something changed in AME/MPE in CC?

Am using PPRo and AME (both CC) with Windows 7 Pro and GeForce GTX 670.
When I Queue a file (a sequence) from PPro to AME, I am restricted to MPE Software only. I've added the card to the "cuda_supported_cards.txt" file in both AME folder and PPro folder, but even then the option to choose between software and hardware rendering is grayed-out.
What am I missing?
Rendering a sequence less than 7 mins is taking more than 90 mins.
Has AME CC been changed to prevent use of "unauthroized" GPUs?

Step 1 is to double check your entry in the text file, or rename the text file so PPro will (I think) just use the card
Step 2 is to check your driver version, and maybe use a different driver version
Right click in any open area of the Windows desktop
Select NVIDIA Control Panel from the popup window
Select SYSTEM INFORMATION at the lower left corner
Driver version should be the 1st line in Details

You could try deleting the app and downloading it again.

I have been unable to connect to Mozilla for 2 days now. Has something changed or is there a problem on foxfire side?

This seems to be an issue for nearly everyone. I have been using ichat video succesfully for over a year now. For some reason, in the last month or so, the video has stopped working on all three of my macs (powerbook G4 Tit, new mbpro, and imac g5 at home)
From my tibook (10.3.9)...I can sucessfully connect to the apple test video without problem. The person I am trying to videochat with can also connect to the same apple test video with no problem. However, we cannot chat with video OR audio with each other.
I have done a bandwidth test, and I am on a 1.5 T1. I am behind a company NAT (cisco 1700 router, Novell server handling the nat/pat) He is in LA and has succesfully be chatting with people on the east coast, so I don't think he is the issue.

As it has been for nearly everyone else on the list, I am extremely frustrated. I have never had an issue using ichat, but now I can't get it to work from anywhere. I have been able to get everyone in my family to switch to imacs so they can chat with my kids....and now we can't get it to work at all.
What am I missing? I find it hard to believe that this is so hard to use that so many people are not able to use it.
Any help or new suggestions would be most appreciated.

I'm new to Macs and bought a MacBook Pro for myself and partner mostly for the iChat AV feature. Neadless to say, I'm frustrated beyond belief. I've spent over 25 hours trying to get it to work to no avail.
Each of us can connect with the Apple test buddies with no problem. We can't connect with each other though, except for two times that it actually worked.
I've troubleshooted everything I can think of. I've called my ISP (Verizon), Netgear (my wireless router), and just this morning I called Apple. I was at work so, I'll have to call them back when I get home but they don't seem to even know about the problem. Which is astonishing considering how many people are reporting this on the forum.
I can connect to anyone while on my office wi-fi but only to the Apple test buddies when at home. That's why I called my ISP and Netgear. I took the router out of the picture and still had the same problem at home.
It makes no sense that the Apple test buddies do work but not real people.

10% off coupons not working, has something changed?

I have yet to receive a reply to the email I sent on Friday the 26th.

I have three unused 10% off coupons that I received in emails in May of this year. They are not due to expire until mid July. I tried to use one in store today to buy a gift (Turtle Beach headphones) and it wasn't working. I was told that it was because my name was not on the coupon (I have 2 accounts in my household), but this has never been an issue before. In fact, I used a coupon on May 9th (which was to expire before I received these 3 coupons) with the name from the other account while making a purchase on my personal account with no problems. So I brought up one of the other coupons that did have my name on it and that did not work either. Then I was told it was because the item was on sale, and the coupons are only for regular-priced items. Again, just last December I purchased an item that was on sale (a Samsung television) and was still able to use the 10% off coupon, and even before that in July 2014 (another television). I thought maybe it was because I was trying to use the coupon in conjunction with another 3X points one, but we removed the 3X points and it still didn't work (and I had previously used a 10% off coupon in addition to another coupon on May 9th to buy a Surface 3 and that worked just fine). After being frustrated and just going ahead with only the 3X points coupon, came home and decided to check if any of the coupon would work on a full priced item. They don't work at all. I tried to apply them to a PS4 (I used 2 on 2 PS4s last year without any issues), a Surface Pro 3 that is not on sale, the headphones again. Nothing works. In the past, I have always been able to apply and remove these coupons without losing them, as long as the checkout process was not complete, so that cannot be the issue. What is going on here? Why is it that this set of coupons no longer seems to work the same way they used to if at all? These were all definitely unused, I hadn't even opened the emails until today.

Has something changed recently re syncing albums to iphone from iphoto ?

Am on an iPhone 5 running iOS7.
Till now I have selected the albums I want shared in iTunes, and they have appeared on my phone in the albums list.
The other night I was out to dinner with a friend and clicked on albums to show her something - and realised all my albums were gone.
Today I syncd the phone and itunes and noticed during back up it was definitely resyncing the selected albums.
BUT - when I go into the phone and click on Albums - they are not there. If I click on Photos then Collections - they do appear - but where on earth have the albums gone ?
Bit confused and not sure how to fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
