ExportPDF converts PDF files to Word and Excel formats (and several others). What you describe, sounds like you're trying to convert a file *to* PDF. Did you ever start a trial of Acrobat, perhaps? (Whereas you can create PDFs with Acrobat, ExportPDF doesn't let you convert files to PDF.)

    Glad they finally added a "Home Videos" tag, but wish that it was a compeltely separate category like Music, Movies, TV Shows. Still have all my home videos tagged as a "TV Show" with track numbers to keep them in order, disc number x of 12 to indicate the month, and season used to indicate the year. Has worked nicely for years but every new version of iTunes I hope (and have suggested) that they will separate this out.
    A real way to maintain home movie metadata and organization would be much appreciated. Giving Home Videos as a tab within Movies is a start, but doesn't recognize the fact that these kinds of videos are completely different from "Movies." People scroll through or look for movies by name, home videos by date or event (more like iPhoto organizes things). Nobody wants to hunt for baby's first steps in a big alphabetical list somewhere between "The Avengers" and "Willy Wonka."

    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.     Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
    If you are running 64-bit Windows and the above steps haven't helped try installing the version of iTunes that can be downloaded from this support document. iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)

    Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
    Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

    Why has this question from April not been answered?! I just bought an iPad Mini and can't authorise my Adobe ID. I am trying to download books from my local public library through OverDrive, which I have been doing for years on my PC and my iPad but it's not working on my brand new Mini. When I click on a book that I've 'checked out' in my Bookshelf (in the 'library') it opens up the Adobe Authorisation window, which says, 'To use this eBook you must first authorize this application with an Adobe ID.' I enter my email address and password, click on Authorize. Then I get a pop up message that says: 'Adobe ID. This Adobe ID is synced to OverDrive. Would you like to log in to OverDrive and restore this activation? No/Yes.' When I click on Yes it takes me to an OverDrive window, asking me to 'Sign in to your OverDrive account'. I log in via Facebook, it opens up the Personal details page of Account Settings. I click Save, then it says 'Your account settings have been updated.' Then nothing else happens. When I go back into my OverDrive Bookshelf I have to do the whole process over again. Obviously the Adobe ID is not authorising somewhere along the line.

    Pressing the Home button twice does not show you what apps are running. It shows you what apps were recently used.
    Download a free app from the App Store. Once it downloads, your other apps should work properly again.

    Please note it did say at the store's discretion, but people have actually been able to return it to the on-line store. (I only saw a couple who tried.)
    And given the outcry, I would think Apple might have other Apple stores join in. Just in case, though, if you can, you might bring it in today.
    If it's an ARS, my guess is they can stick to their 14 day return. Apple cannot force them to do it. SO if it's not bought directly from Apple, and it's past the 14 day deal, I'd bring it in to the store today if you have one. When I gave people the cnet.com site, I gave it so people could read it and know only Apple had made the decision for Apple. And I suggested to some that an Apple reseller would probably stick with their own return policy.
    Because Arnie had just bought his, he should be able to return it to Apple or an ARS because an ARS has to have some kind of full refund or at least return for credit within 7 or 14 days of purchase.
