So I have used Mozilla for a long time with no problems. All of a sudden I cannot access certain games on facebook. All else works. First uninstalled and reinstalled. Then ran malware program. Still nothing and the games work off IE and Google Chrome. I really like Firefox and would like to be able to go back to it

Thanks to some hints in several strings, I went back to the Control Panel in XP, clicked on Sounds and Devices, clicked on Audio, then changed the default device to the Realtek HD Audio output I have on my computer. Now I can hear You Tube video sound and other Internet audio fine, at least for now. I will come back if it stops again. Thanks to all who posted.

Are you using a bookmark or does this also happen if you type the address of the main (home) page of the website?
Bookmarked pages can become invalid, so you may have to enter the main page and then navigate to the wanted page.
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I have a 1st gen iPhone that I just updated the software to 2.0.2
Now whenever I press the mail icon it goes to the mail app for about 4 seconds, does nothing, no loading of folders, old messages, nothing.
Then it reverts back to the home screen. Tried restarting, haven't tried restoring, thought I'd look here first.

I have used Firefox for about 8 years or since it first was developed and I love it!!!! I especially love the Bookmarks Toolbar and have used it all these years with no problems. Yesterday I somehow lost the Bookmarks Toolbar. It is still listed under View in the Menu. When I check beside it the area enlarges a small bit and when I uncheck it the area decreases a little. All my Bookmarks are still there, just not the toolbar. I have tried everything I know to try. I have uninstalled and downloaded Firefox again and reinstalled it. I have restarted my computer several times. I have tried dragging new bookmarks to the toolbar area from the website address. Nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing this and have a solution? I HATE it without this toolbar. Thanks in advance!!!!

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar

Now it scans but I when I go to read the file there is an error message. What is going on? When I first scanned I could read the file and when I tried to send the file an error accured. When the phone freezes is it random or when you are doing one certain function on the phone? Have you been able to test the device out in Safe Mode for a few hours to see if that will still continue the freezing issues? I have been making in-app purchases with PayPal for over a year. Now I cannot. I changed my payment method to Credit card, but still can't. I can purchase music in itunes but no game purchases. My ID was disabled after a paypal dispute but after an entire evening on the phone with support and security, that was resolved. Any suggestions? If I have to spend more time on the phone with support, I will. But I would rather not.

Please create an update to firefox for MAC OS X 10.5.8...I have so many labs that still use this OS and with budget cuts they are not planning to update for the next few years. It cannot be that difficult.

Mozilla already ended support for Leopard a month ago. The developers believe that the resources spent supporting the older operating system would be better used elsewhere. Realistically, one or more enthusiasts asking not to end support isn't going to change the fact the user base isn't large enough to make that kind of effort worthwhile.

After purchasing a new computer I downloaded itunes and signed in to my account. Everything was fine including my current email address. When I connected my iPod and it started to cink, I go a message that the computer had to be authorized our my music would be removed. When I clicked on the authorize button I got a sign in that had an email address I have not had in almost 3 years. When I put my current logon and password in itunes would not accept it. When I clicked help it offered to send help to my old email address which I have not way of accessing. How do I get my computer to accept my iPod if I cannot enter the current logon and password information?

We are having this same issue. We have over 200 songs that are now missing and only our most recent ones show up in our ITunes library. Fortunately we have one phone that still has all of our music still in tact. This phone is no longer one I will be using as I upgraded to the Iphone 6, and only the most recent purchased songs remain. The rest are no where to be found and the iTunes store shows that I would need to re-purchase. Not sure what to do as when I tried to sync my last phone, all the songs were gone.
