Having trouble installing from the disc

I am trying to installAdobe Acrobat XI Pro from the disc.  The install process starts but then stops and says, "Insert disc."  I already have inserted the disc.  No matter how many times I indicate the disc is inserted, the installation stalls.

Could be a faulty CD. But try copying the entire disk to a folder on your desktop, then install from there. If you still get a message to insert a disk, please let us know the full wording.

  • What to install from the disc ?

Got my p67a-gd65 running and would like to know what else to install from the disc or not ? so far I've just installed the chipset and the lan drivers and I do have a sata3 hd I'm running off of but I didn't know about the rest of the drivers (Win7 default audio seems to be working fine).

Not 100% sure about sata, But i run win7 and never installed the sata driver. If you want the full control on your sound i would install the sound drivers from disk.

I have just updated my IPADs OS to 6.1.2 this caused it to crash and i had to do a restore on the IPAD. Now some of the apps that i have will not reinstall directly from my computer.  living in a country with a slow internet,  uploading from the cloud is painfully slow.  Is there some way to get around this

  • I am having trouble installing (from disk) CS6 for Mac.  I have a new imac with SO 10.8.4.

This is a screen shot of the error screen:  I have all other applications closed.  I still have CS4 installed for safety.  Any ideas?

    Have you reset the SMC?
    Shut down the computer.
    Unplug the computer's power cord.
    Wait fifteen seconds.
    Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
While you're at it, resetting the PRAM won't hurt anything and 'might' help is SMC reset didn't work (PRAM does some port control):
    Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.
Something else you might try .... you don't say how you're updating to 10.6.8, however, if you're using Software Update, you might try downloading the 10.6.8 combo update, which contains all updates to 10.6. Sometimes, Software Update doesn't work quite right, and installing the combo update fixes that. Download the update from Apple's download site at http://support.apple.com/downloads/ , using Disk Utility repair permissions, apply the combo update, then repair permissions again.

  • I recently had to change my internet provider.  Now I am having trouble purchasing from the store.  Help

    Help.
I recently had to change internet providers.  It is making it difficult to complete purchases.

There shouldn't be a any relationship to internet provider and making purchases inside iTunes. If you are connected to the intenet and able to post with the same comuter in question, it's probably something else.
What kind of message do you get? Can you be more specific about the steps and exactly what happens?

I'm having trouble instaling a printer driver for my Canon MG5220. I downloaded the latest printer driver from the Canon website (10.67.1.0) and installed it on my Intel iMac. It said the installation was sucessful, but when I try to add a printer, no go. The printer does'nt show up. I'm fairly new to the Mac, after switching from windows. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

Hold down the option key and select
     ▹ System Information...
from the menu bar. In the window that opens, select
    Hardware ▹ USB
from the list on the left. On the right you should now see a list of all connected USB devices, as well as some built-in components. Is the device shown?

    Hey robr72339266,
With a single user license, you can install Acrobat on maximum two computers, say, your laptop at work and desktop at office.
But, you cannot use Acrobat on both the machines simultaneously.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from the old machine, then install and activate the software on the new OS with the same serial key.
Please Contact | Adobe to seek help on the same.
    Regards,

  • Good day all, I am having trouble installing the latest version of Itunes on my desktop. I receive a message that sttates the older version not be removed and then the installation process is aborted. I am running windows

Good day all, I am having trouble installing te latest version of Itunes on my computer.
When it is installing I get a message that states "the older version of Itunes can not be removed."
Then the installations process is aborted.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
