Header text change in End User Logon page

Could you please let me know where can i change the Header text of End User logon page which is SAP GRC Access Control, 10 to an different description.

Hi Abhi,
Go to SE80
Go to Package GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST -> Web Dynpro -> Web Dynpro Application -> GRAC_UIBB_END_USER_LOGIN
Open the webdynpro in Admin mode and then right click on the page and you can Edit whatever text you want in End User Logon page as well as can enable and disable fields according to your requirement.

If u r using standard layout set RVORDER01.
U can print that sales order header text in the following text element.
/E SUPPLEMENT_TEXT.
U can include ur text objects here.
Then it gets printed.

In order to restrict changes to Sales Order Header Text, the appropriate User Exit would be USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_TVCOM_H. With the help of ABAPer, you can include the simple logic on the basis of Header Text type such that whenever any changes are incurred on the Sales Order header text, updates would be prevented.
Please try out this approach and let us know your latest observation on this issue.

End User Logon

Hi Experts,
We have a issue with End user logon link.End user link is embedded in
portal. We have maintained guest user as well with all respective web-
services enabled. Data source is LDAP and authentication is NO.
Let me explain the scenario as:
1)When user1 clicks on link to raise any access request , it gives
error as attached. Although user1 exist in LDAP and has account in
GRC system with GRC base roles. It gives error as attached
(1st Image).There are 2 screenshot in attachment.
2)But when I assign SAP_ALL to this user1 in GRC , it clears the
authentication page without any issue.
3)When user is in LDAP, but has no account in GRC , it gives error as
attached(2nd Image)
4)Testing the webservice GRAC_UIB_ENDUSER works fine and any user
existing in LDAP able to authenticate the login.
We are in GRCAC 10.0 SP13.
Guest user has been given SAP_ALL. Appreciate your thoght on this

We have tried SAP_ALL and S_LDAP authorization to guest user. But problem still persist.
Although testing the enduser link from SICF works fine without any issue. But the same link when embedded in portal throws error.
Any suggestion here...

Generate a new version for PO header text change

Hi,
Could you pls instruct me the configuration settings to generate a new version for PO header text change? I secceeded in other fields, e.g. Inco Term, Order Qty, Delivery date, but failed in header and Item Text.
I added STXH_TDNAME but it doesn't work. Thanks!

Thank you very for the feedback.
The 4th point of note 664928 says "This is not a change to print-relevant texts". I assume there is a way to configure the text as a "print-relevant text" and I confirmed my texted is configured for printing for operation 1 & 2 (create and change order) in:
MM > Purchasing > Messages > Texts for Messages > Define Texts for Purchase Order.
Still not working. Any idea? Do I miss anything? Thanks!

How to create a PDF form which can be filled out and saved with change by end user

I am using Acrobat 8.0 - Mac - and want to create a PDF with text form fields. Simple one page file. The end user needs to be able to fill out the text form fields and SAVE those changes. so far they can fill out the fields but can not save the file with changes.

I should have said Mac users. Because the Print system and sytem by which Mac users view anything is based on the PDF engine. The Mac sytem can do anything Standard Standrd could do. although in order to placate Adobe the pdf engine used is a version or two behind. If the Mac OS could do everything Acrobat could do there would be no reason for Adobe to provide Acrobat Or Reader for Mac.
And you basing your assumption of what Standard can do a PC. Standard on Mac is basically Mac's Print to PDF wrapped in an Adobe Package. It shad no ability to confer rights to reader (that didn't come to Acrobat Mac until Version 8) and was unable to to create forms. The current version of Acrobat PC comes as Standard, Pro, And extended. There never has and never will be an extended pro version for Mac (that adds the ability to create XML based forms) They don't have the interest. To adobe is little more than a Play toy. Because Windows has so much clout They can dictate what they want. Apple not so much. One advantage Mac does have is that Forms creator is built in. on PC its an adon (it free but an addon or was).
Now back in OS 9 days and Acrobat 5.x Acrobat for Mac and PC were equal. except to have the print press features Mac users had to pay an addition $200.00. (It exactly as you described in your last sentence - except Acrobat 5.x without the printpress and The Acrobat 5 without Print press was $299.00 and $499.00 with Print press.) I know I've used Acrobat since version 3.

Change CUCM end User, no AD integration

We have CUCM (7.1.5.32900-2), we do not have Active Directory integration,
Is it acceptable practice if a user leaves, to just change the name on the End User config within CUCM, (setting up for use as a CAD agent), rather than deleting and creating new from scratch?
Everything stays the same on the End user except the name.
Or is the preferred method to delete existing user and creat a new one?
I realize if I change the name, I should delete the old resource in UCCX.

Implications of Deleting Agents in Unified CM
Note This section only applies to Unified CCX Deployments with Unified CM.
If you modify an agent's record in Unified CM (for example, changing the Unified CCX extension or deleting the agent),ensure to refresh the user page on Unified CCX Administration interface so that the agent's information in the Unified CCX RmCm subsystem is updated. Choose Subsystems > RmCm > Resources option to update the Unified CCX information in the Unified CCX Administration any time. If you change the Unified CCX extension of an agent who is currently logged in, the agent will continue to use the old extension until the agent logs off. The agent must log off and then log back in to the Cisco Agent Desktop to get the new extension.
When Unified CCX detects that the agent no longer exists in Unified CM, it does not automatically delete that agent from the Unified CCX database. Instead, the Unified CCX Resources page displays a new link called Inactive Agents. When you click this link, Unified CCX displays a list of agents deleted from Unified CM but still existing in the Unified CCX database. In this case, select the agents to delete from Unified CCX by checking the check box next to the required agent (or select all agents for deletion by clicking Check All). Then click Delete to remove the selected agents from the Unified CCX database. Unless you follow this procedure, agents deleted in Unified CM will continue to appear in the agents list in the Unified CCX Resources page, but they will not be able to log in as the Unified CM authentication will not be successful.
Caution
Deleting Inactive Agents removes the agent details and records from the Historical Reporting Database and HR reports will not display historical information of these agents.
If Unified CM connection errors have occurred, all agents will not be visible to Unified CCX. In this case, Unified CCX interprets these agents as deleted agents. As a result, the Inactive Agents list will not be accurate. When the errors are resolved, click Inactive Agents again to see an accurate list.

KE30 report header text change

Hi All,
Kindly note that we have requirement in KE30(profitability report) where the client wants to see the posting date and period for which the report is ran in the header.Right now we can see the current data i.e the date on which report is generated.
in brief:
Currently
header data: the date on which the report is ran.(report run date)
Expected
Header: posting period and date for which report is run.
Please provide some information as to how do we move with the changes.

Char PERIO is available in KE30 reports which is in the format MMM.YYYY
In your header text, use "Selection Parameters" and insert PERIO... you can write the header text as below
You have executed this report for period from "Per1" to "Per 2" for the company code "BUKRS1"
Where Per1 and Per 2 and BUKRS1 are the variables taht you used in your report definition

Best practice for end user menu pages

here is my goal :
i want to add a link on the end user menu offering the user the ability to reset some LDAP fields (for example reset default values for mail settings after the user made a wrong customization).
I saw all links on the end user menu are pointing to jsp pages. must i do the same or can i achieve my goal with only workflows and forms in the BPE ?
is there somewhere a good example or a best practice desciption of such a customization ?

thanks a lotDo you mean adding additional tabs to the accounts information (default being identity, assignments, security, and attributes). So, you want an additional tab such as 'LDAP attributes' after attributes, once you have assigned LDAP resournce to that user, right?

End Users Personalizing Pages

Hi,
I have created a page, and this page contains one iView and a second page including two iViews.
Example:
-Page_1
iView_1.1
Page_2
iView_2.1
iView_2.2
The feature Remove iView from page is enabled in all the iViews (iView_1.1, iView2.1 and iView_2.2).
If the end user removes iView_1.1 from Page_1, he can include the same iView, going to Personalize option available in the Title Bar of Page_1.
Issue: If the end user removes one of the iViews from Page_2, he is never able to reassign the iView again. Even if he goes to Personalize option available in the Title Bar of Page_1, and clicking on Restore defaults.
Any hint?

good idea. I suggest that John puts all the iViews on Page using a custom Layout.
@John I assume the reason why you choose to use a second page is that you wanted to have something like a T - Page Layout or some other fancy layout SAP did not provide. Well, you can create your own Layout.

Sales document header-- head text changes not working in VA01 if we rasie with reference to quotation

Greetings!!
We have raised a quotation, in this quotation we have manually updated Job number (1234) and project number (9876) in header--> header text and saved the quotation.
With reference to this Quotation we raised a sales order(VA01) and here we have changed job number from 1234 to ABCD and project number from 876 to EFGHIJ and saved the sales document but system by default takes quotation job and project number only. If we go to change mode of sales document (VA02) our changes working fine.
ould you please let us know how we can overcome this issue? Or this is standard behavior or what?

Shopping Cart header text ( Approval Note )with User id, Date , Time

Hi Experts ,
We are mapped SC header Text to Classic PO header text sucessfully. But in the SC Approval Note system is automatically pouplating User Id, Date , Time and Time Zone ..along with manullay entered Text.....and same is pouplating in tyhe created Classic PO.
We don't want these extra things in the SC and PO both .
Can anyone please suggest how we can achive this ?

Hi,
Please check the ABAP Class CL_SRM_ICF_BASIC_LOGIN. This class builds the logon page.
You can comment out the "Forgot your Password" line.

Change title in portal Logon Page

I have a client who doen't want to see the word "Portal" in title bar of the browser while they are logged in to the Portal.
I.e. In the title bar of the browser where it normall says "SAP NetWeaver Portal - Microsoft Internet Explorer" they want it only to say "SAP NetWeaver - Microsoft Internet Explorer".
I am guessing that I can just change the <title> html parameters in the jsp of the portal login page...
Could someone tell me where I can find the JSP page?

Try it with the following first:
System Administration >> System Confguration >> Service Configuration >> Portal Runtime >> Central Configuration
Double cklick on "Central Configuriation"
Go to parameter portal.html.head.title and modify this title to your needs.
Save and restart the whole portal.
Now in the whole portal the new title should appear.
