Heavy message push blazeds ??

we have this requirement to push some heavy messages from server to flex client.
what are my options ? currently we are investigating blazeds.. but looks like it has some performance issues. is that true ?
our message rate is high. flex client is expecting to receive atleast 3-5 messages a second.
is there a way to push messages to client directly without using blazeDS ? i read somewhere that you can do this with using some security policy files on server side ? what kind of performance we gain if we use this approach ? any issues if we decide to go this route and eliminate the whole blazeDS ?
one more question about blazeDS. ? what kind of security does it have ? can i make some secure messages that only particular consumer gets and not other should be able to even see that messages ? (like JMS queue.. send secure message to only one consumer) ? how can i achieve this using blazeDS ?
any good tutorial or any infomartion would really help ..

yes you can't change battery and display on software because it's hardware may be release another model aspect your requirement from blackberry ok!

Nokia Messaging push email not working

Hey, i am using a Nokia C3, already subscribed to a nokia messaging service through the operator. Using communities, mail and chat are all ok, except the push email. The push email is not working, sometimes it works, but mostly its not working. I tested to send email from my PC and the email never arrive on my phone. But when i open the mail application and synch, the email will be there. So, the push mail is not working. I set it up correctly i guess, i already set the settings to 'follow my account setting' and the account setting update inbox 'very fast'.
When first using this phone i use an "A" operator, subscribed to nokia messaging service, and then register the email in the mail application. Several week ago i changed to operator "B", and already removed the email and re-adding again. Any solution? Thanks before..

now the both function is working fine in my phone. space bar light and nokia messaging ( push email ) the thing is once it go for low battery profile mode. after that i charge my batter full also my push email will not work. once phone got restarted then it will start works. if my active power saver mode then if we charge my phone also it will not work even in full charge i need restart. before my phone got power saver mode my push email is working fine. once it go for active power saver mode then we charge full also push email will not work. again i need to restart my phone. for this issue what has to be done ? can any one suggects me regarding the same

Using Java to Send Message to BlazeDS

I've created a very simple java program that should have no problem sending a message to BlazeDS.

ok, pretty simple. Now i'm getting a null pointer exception error when i try to run the routeMessageToService function.
Either i don't have my config,services xml set right or what, i have no idea why it can't find the message channel "chat".
I know it's in there. I see it under the BlazeDS samples. Is there something i need to set to specifically target a certain "folder" in blaze ds?
I want this java program to just run on the server (that blazeDS is installed on), anywhere in the os.
So like this....
JavaApp Runs -> JavaApp gets message from outside source -> JavaApp sends messages to BlazeDS -> Clients subscribed to Blaze get message
Pretty easy...but i'm beating my head. Anyone please?

Facebook messages - Push or not lumia 800

i see a few people have had this problem but i can not seem to find an answer as they are talking about apps.
i am using an up to date Lumia 800.
I am not using the facebook app, instead using the intergration to try and get the full nokia experience.
Chat works fine - but only connects over wifi. can it be turned on over network? (data usage isnt an issue)
I an see updates, comments, photos, newsfeeds, everything.....
except when someone sends me a message (not in online chat)
So if i am not online over wifi, or they just send me a message not a chat. as far as i can tell i can not see this without either getting the app or going to the mobile site.
have i missed a push feture somewhere or is this a development oversight

This is a refurbished Torch I received about 2 weeks ago. The previous one and this one worked fine until a few days ago. FB notifications work fine - both to it and my email. Just the messages part is having issues. I did a test and sent myself a FB message from my PC. No notification on the Torch but I could see the message on the Torch if I opened the Messages section of FB (the error message didn't pop up). Oddly enough - older messages in my FB folder don't show up. Just the one I sent myself.

Flex client can SEND but not RECEIVE messages from BlazeDS

Hi there,
I built a sample chat application that should be able to send/receive messages from a JMS topic. However, I am only able to SEND messages, I am not able to receive them. Any advice/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated as I am seriously stuck.
My setup:
- BlazeDS Turnkey
- FioranoMQ JMS provider on remote machine
What I know:
- My MXML code is good. I am able to use the exact same code and get both subscribing and publishing working when I use 'ActiveMQ' instead of 'FioranoMQ' as my JMS provider
- FioranoMQ JMS provider is working fine, my test Java clients can both subscribe and publish to the same JMS topic that the Flex app uses
- Publishing from my Flex app is working because my Java client is able to receive messages from the same topic whenever Flex messages are sent to FioranoMQ
- My Flex app is supposedly 'subscribed' to and 'connected' to the correct (streaming-amf) channel. I know this because the MXML 'Consumer' object's "subscribed" and "connected" properties are true and no fault events appear whenever I issue "consumer.subscribe()" in my Flex app.
Sample debug console log:
(I tried sending 8 JMS messages from my Java client code to the 'mytopic' topic that my Flex app is using. The end of the log shows that SOMETHING is happening after sending these messages, but notice the actual 'message' is never streamed even in the log!)

Hi Alex, thanks for your advice. I tried reading the client-side logs, but it just physically shows what I was saying earlier - that the consumer is connected and subscribed, but no messages are coming through to it.
I've attached the output of the 'flashlog.txt' file. For the particular session shown, the flex application was sent 8 JMS messages, but as you can see nothing got through. I put a 'trace' message in the message handler function (for my consumer object), but it never gets called.

Seems to me there can only be two explanations: either my BlazeDS configuration is incorrect (which is unlikely given that everything works if I use a ActiveMQ as my JMS provider with only trivial changes to my configuration), or there is some bug within BlazeDS that is preventing it from working properly with FioranoMQ. What do you think?

Facebook and Facebook Messenger message push notifications not working?

I have a 4th generation iPod touch running iOS 6.1.5 and an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4. On my iPod touch, Facebook and Facebook Messenger give me notifications for everything. On my iPhone, the Facebook app gives me every notification except for messages. Facebook Messenger, on the other hand, doesn't give me any kind of notification aside from the in-app notifications. I've been missing important messages on my iPhone because of this. I've set all notifications settings on my iPhone to "on." I turned on all the notifications settings in the notification center, the apps themselves, and even the Facebook integrated settings under Settings > Facebook. I also tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling, to hard booting, to logging in and out of the applications, and I even turned off Facebook platform on the computer. I was wondering if this has something to do with being online on both my iPod touch and my iPhone, but my mom has an iPad 3 (I think?) and an iPhone 5s and she never has notification problems. I've already tried Googling my problem up, but none of the solutions worked. I really hope you guys can help me. Thanks a ton in advance!

I've already tried reinstalling and restarting both devices. I now get comment notifications on my ipad but no chat and still nothing on my phone. I don't understand what happened. It was working 2 hours ago.

Why are some messages pushing to mac and not phone?

I am very frustrated, as, I have had occational times where a text bypasses my phone and goes to my macbook. My wife will use the laptop frequently and it happens sometimes when she is on the computer.   It will somtimes send a text the computer even if somone is not using it, though. How do I get the system to send the message to both devices, or, to simply stop all texts from going to the computer? thx

Log out of iMessage on your Mac, and the messages will be forced to only go to your phone.   If your phone has no signal at time the message was sent to you, that could explain why Mac is getting but not your phone.
I'd first try to logout of iMessage on both devices, then reactivate first on your phone, then your Mac.   See if problem fixes itself.

My iPhone was on, in a standby position. I wanted to see if I've got a message, pushed the button and found out that my touch-display is off. What can I do? It's just doesn't work. Is something wrong with my battery?

Is anyone had the same problem? Can I manage it on my own?

Would you rather upgrade to windows 8, BlackBerry or Android phones? Do you honestly think those don't have problems?
You waited a lot and chose to buy an early production model. Mistakes happen all the time a factory retools and workers relearn new skills necessary to keep US happy.

Message stack and push BPEL process

Hi.
I found some strange behaviour of BPEL PM.
I have process with 2 receive activities. First to invoke and second for wait to push.
Process have 2 input operation: initiate and push.
When I call process at first with operation push and some correlation id, nothing happens.
But next when I call process with operation initiate and same correlation id, process run out without waiting and looks like receive message with operation push which was send before.
What does it means. What it causes and Can I change this beaviour ?

Normal SOA behavior.
It looks like the system gets the push activity, but it can not handle that. So it is stored in the dehydration store. (You should verify that). Now the initiate message is comes is. It starts the process, during the process it should get receive message (push) based on your correlation settings. Now, BPEL is looking in the dehydration-store if it has such a message, otherwise it will wait. But the message was already received, to it continues processing.

Can you re-show push notifications for messages after unlocking iPhone?

Is it possible to re-show push notifications for messages after unlocking an iPhone? If I open my phone, but want to re-see the same message push notifications after closing my phone would that be possible? In other words is there a way to customize a lock screen or to restore it?

Confirmed. I did upgrade my phone and then "restore from backup" rather than setting up a new phone.
Would setting up as a new phone delete my extra carrier profiles, or are these untouched? I could try that as well.

Does BlazeDS dropping messages?

Recently I've been working on an assignment to resolve an issuse of missing messages on the client side.
The application is deployed to JBoss 5 server and uses JMS to send over the messages to a Flex client through the use of BlazeDS. My test involves a data injector that publishes message to a JMS topic, a JMS topic monitor written in Java to monitor the messages on the JMS topic, a Flex client that prints log statements on the screen.
The test scenario is listed below:
1. Starts up both Flex client and JMS topic monitor to subscribe to the same JMS topic
2. Uses the data injector to publish messages to the JMS topic.
3. Adjusts the message publishing rate to send more data to the JMS topic.
The data I used was an array that contains 8 elements. The array is coverted to an ObjectMessage through
session.createObjectMessage(Serializable arg) call first then uses MessageProducer.send(Message arg) to publish to the JMS topic. After each send, there is a delay of configurable time interval. The above code is inside a for loop so that I can tune up the number of messages to publish.
For above setting, the Flex client is missing messages when I loop it 500 times while the JMS topic monitor received all messages. However, If I lower the number of the array to only 1 element, the both client received all messages. For the later case, I have the looping variable set as high as 32,000.
It is clear to me that my next step should count the number of messages that BlazeDS received and the number of message it routed to the Flex client. However, I have no prior experience with Flex and BlazeDS. Hence, I need help to overcome this hurdle.
1. I tried to enable the server side log for BlazeDS by following Adobe's documentation but could not see any log entry for BlazeDS.
2. Is there a way to see how many messages received by BlazeDS?

I got resolved this reported issue on blazeds.
The issue was in the BlazeDS version 4.0.0.14931. To point out exactly, the jar file which had this issue in was flex-messaging-core.jar
You can download the latest blazeds version "4.0.1.21287" from the below mentioned link and use the flex-messaging-core.jar. This version has the classcast exception issue fixed while casting org.jgroups.stack.IpAddress to string in "SubscriptionManager.java:736"
