Height changed for automatic height iviews after upgrade

Hi All,
We have a strange issue. We upgraded recently from EP6 SP20 to EP7 SP16. After this, all the KM iviews which had the height type set as Automatic has the minimum height 150px, not in the iview settings, but in the actual display. In the settings it is still minimum - 0 and max-1000. But when it comes to display, it shows with a minimum height of 150px.
Is there any setting that I can change to make it like before (height depending on content)? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

It seems that this is a bug and is fixed in EP7 SP17. Details in SAP Note: 1261369.

To troubleshoot this issue where your camera is displaying a black screen, please follow the information outlined below.
You see a closed lens or black screen
If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:
Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping (camera swap icon). If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

I have a MacBook Pro Retina display: 15.4-inch late 2015 with OS X Mavericks install, only on second week.
Insight works on FaceTime, Skype, but yahoo program does not show insight cam in dropped down.
Now when I got my new MacBook Pro, I down loaded all new Skype (worked tested), FaceTime (Worked Tested), Yahoo (not worked)
Fix:
With the new Maverick you have to use there messager program Version 8.0 (4218). Once I add my yahoo account video works again.
It also supported AOL, AIM, Google Talk, Jabber.
Guess I miss it frist time... hope this helps...

Apple Mail Search and Spotlight do not work for locating email messages after upgrading to Lion 10.8.3 on my 27" iMac.
When searching in Apple Mail, sometimes a get a few results (with many missing), and sometimes no results at all.
I had absolutely no problems before with Snow Loepard.
I have reindexed mail and my startup drive. I have followed discussions regarding this matter and tried everything - a waste of time.
This is VERY serious for me - I have many thousands of messages that I archive and need to reference for work and clients, and now I cannot find them.

I found out that I needed a $100 mini displayport to dual-link dvi adapter to make my $30" cinema display work with my macbook pro

When I found out that solved the problem, I took it back because that was too expensive for a stupid adapter, and it still didn't work perfectly.

Sabertooth is right. If you are able to go online from your Router then you don't need to install LELA software on your Computer.

Error "EPCF Undefined" in URL Iview after upgrading portal from 7.0 to 7.3

We have upgraded our portal from 7.0 to 7.3 recently. After upgrade when we are trying to open URL iviews(which will open a page in a sesparate window) it is giving some error in left bottom corner of browser. The error is as follows

Hence the problem was not there with previous versions where the .js files were simply not compressed by default.
Solution :
I believe switching off javascript compression is a suitable option in this case as the script files are usually cached by the browser as well and will not be transmitted every time.
Kindly follow these steps:
1. Enter the J2EE Config tool.
2. drill down: Global Server Configuration->services->http
3. on the right hand side, click on NeverCompressed
4. on the bottom, add at the end: ,*.js
5. Apply the changes
6. restart the J2EE.
After this clear the browser cache and then log onto the portal and check if the issue gets resolve

I Tunes for WIndows wont start after upgrade to 8.0.1

I recently upgraded to iTunes 8.0.1.11. After upgrade, if for some reason I need to reboot my computer iTunes will not start. It took forever to finally figure out what it was. I couldn't sync my iPod, could not get on to iTunes , etc. I finally had to try to uninstall Bonjour to make it come up. The problem is that I can never fully uninstall Bonjour. It says I do not have sufficient privileges. It will be ok until I have to reboot again or turn off my computer. I then have to try to uninstall bonjour to make it come up again. Is there a fix for this bug so I don't have to go through the same procedure every time I reboot?

As far as the sufficient privileges go.
You may wish to temporarily disable User Access Control (UAC)
This should then give you permission to complete the uninstall process like you have been doing. Also ensure you are an Administrator user on the account. That right away will cause the message to appear if you are not.
You want to ensure this gets turned back on if you do not have adequate security protection such as
-Firewall Software
-Anti Virus Software
-Spyware/Adaware Software
To Turn UAC off in the easiest way possible
-Launch Control Panel
-Launch User Accounts
In this Window you will see an option called "Turn User Access Control ON/OFF" Click on this. A simple pop up window will appear. If it has a check mark in the box. Un-check it. Reboot. UAC is now off.
Windows security will notify you of this. Feel free to ignore it while you try to uninstall again. Repeat the steps above to turn it back on when you are ready.
By any chance have you tried a Basic Uninstall of Apple Software? and then Run the iTunes Setup file in Administrator Mode?

You can spool (or put in a database table) in your 10G database the sql statements and their performance metadata (this should be done when the system is really used). After the upgrade you can do the same select as used to spool. the statements in the 10G database and compare them (again in a really used system). A sql statement to use could be:
select inst_id, sql_id, hash_value, executions
,(cpu_time/executions)/1000000 cpu_time
,(elapsed_time/executions)/1000000 elapsed_time
,(disk_reads/executions) disk_reads

Problem in VC iview after upgrading the server

Hi,
This is a known issue, and you have three options:
1) Upgrade to SP20 where this issue is fixed
2) open an OSS ticket to SAP support, and you will probably get a fix.
3) sounds like you are using flex 1.5, start using Flex 2 runtime where this issue will not occur.

Change characters in the background after upgrading BEX workbook

Hi,
I have just upgrade the Bex workbook from 3.5X to 7.0. Functionally, it works fine. However, one thing that irritates the end users is that when one opens the workbook, it immediately shows an Excel-sheet with change symbols, numbers and characters scattering from line 1 to 4 (like TRUE, FALSE, arrow-symbols etc). Later on a variable screen pops up on top of this background. The background will disappear only after the variable screen is filled and the result is finally displayed.
Does anyone comes across this issue? Is there any way to get a clean background to start with?

The problem is due to the fact that we are using too low level of SAPGUI. After upgrading the GUI level and patches, this together with other frontend problems such as missing role button, variants not showing and so on are dissolved.

Unable to change tracks on my stereo after upgrading to iOS 6

After upgrading to iOS 6 yesterday I've noticed a problem playing my music through Bluetooth on my Alpine car stereo. It still plays but I am unable to change tracks with the stereo, I have to manually do it on my iPhone. This is a problem, any ideas?

I spoke to a rep at Alpine today. They are aware that there are major issues with the release of iOS 6 and ALL their products. The said they will have to do a firmware update and he had no idea when that would be available.
Not good as I bought a new unit yesterday ! It workd great driving home and this morning no iPhone interface would function properly. I updated my OS last night. And I cannot go back to OS 5 I am told by Apple people.
I love Apple products but I must say I do not like their "we know best" attitude when it comes to deciding what OS I should run on my iPhone. I would much rather have OS 5 and let my iPhone work with my stereo.
Hopefully this firmware update will not take too long but I know there is no way it will be right away. The Alpine rep said his phone started ringing off the hook at 8 am from Alpine techs all over the country !
So clearly this was news to them.

Mail shows wrong creation dates for some older messages after upgrade to OSX 10.9.

Searching for old mail messages I find that the creation date on many old messages is now incorrect after upgrading my system to OSX 10.9.
Searching mail for messages from a person now results in threads that include unconnected messages and messages that are out of date order making the thread difficult to follow.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Migrated Content iviews after upgrade

Hi,
I am planning to upgrade from NW04 SR1 to NW 04 SP 17. I wanted to know if the content of the migrated content folder would be overwritten after upgrade. If so, what are the steps i can take to prevent this ? Should i copy the content to another fodler which is in my namespace ?

I have done the following tasks
1) I have uploaded Roles fro ABAP system into EP.
2) The same is appearing in Migrated Content folder ( which is in SAP namespace)
3) My question is if i go for a SP 17 patch application, will the content which i have uploaded get vanished ?
4) If so, what is the approach for preventing overwriting of the role content which i have uploaed from back end system ? Do i make a copy of the same in some folder under customer namespace ?

MSExchangeSA and IS is not starting automatic at reboot after upgrading the server from SP1 to SP2

I am running a 2 node DAG with separate Hub & CAS servers
I have already upgraded the Hub CAS server and they are fine
Exchange running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1
All are in VM-Ware ESXi 5.0
After I upgrade the mailbox server to SP2 the SA and IS service not starting automatic after reboot
If I run "net time /set" command and then restart ADtopology server, the IS and SA starts fine
But again after reboot they do not start
Also I get the below event in the app log when the IS & SA fails to start

If I check the Registry for time resource it is taking from the DC
I manually compared the time between DC and Exchange and it is fine
Since the Exchange mailbox is virtual, I checked the time sync on VM-Ware tools and it is "unchecked"
Checked for group policy and do not find any specific to time sync.
Confirmed that Windows Time service is running
Suspecting a Operating system issue, tried to upgrade the other DAG
Even that node is displaying the same symptom and Issues
Tried to install RU1 on both nodes and that too did not fix the issue.
Checked with VM-Ware engineer and he said that every thing from VM-Ware end is fine
Is Anyone have come across the issue before ?

Problem:
Unable to initialize the Information Store service because the clocks on the client and server are skewed. This may be caused by a time change either in the client or the server, and may require a reboot of that computer. Verify that
your domain is properly configured and is currently online.
Solution:
Open a cmd prompt from the Exchange Server as administrator (right mouse click on the command prompt shortcut and select “Run as Administrator”)
Run this command
Net time \\ADServerName /Set
Restart the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology Service
*Important!! You have to restart the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology Service or this fix will not work.. I tried just starting the Information Store service after running the command it it still failed..
This worked for me and all is well on my exchange server.

Discount is being updated when changing unit price in SO after upgrade

Hi there,
Customer recently upgraded to version 8.8 from 2005.
They encountered a few transactions where discount is automatically being updated when changing unit price in SO.
Customer created SO by duplicating existing SO. Then change the Unit Price in the new SO.
For one item, the price after discount does not get updated correctly. Instead, system seems to have automatically created the discount.
So far, I can't reproduce this issue yet.
Is this a bug? Please suggest.

The Price List has been set to the correct one as well.
