Do you get an error message page about the secure certificate, or a more general message that the page couldn't be loaded? Or does the page load but not work correctly?

Ok, first thing, why are you doing anything with WAMP or XAMPP when you're running a Mac? MAMP should be what you want unless you're not explaining part of what you are trying to do.
2nd thing, I haven't used MAMP in a while, but there are two possibilities for not seeing what you want to see once you have MAMP turned on. One possibility is that you already have "Web Sharing" turned on in your Sharing Preference Pane. If that is the case, port 80 will already be taken and you'll be seeing the default Apache install (files are stored at /Library/WebServer/Documents/). This would push MAMP to either not turn on it's web serving capabilities, or to push it to another port. The other possibility is that MAMP defaults to another port anyway. So instead of localhost, you might have to type in localhost:8080 or something similar. I believe the control panel that gets installed can take you to the currently MAMP-served page, and it can also help you change which port your serving on.
80 is the default port for web serving and the ONLY port that will let you get straight to the server without having to type in webaddress.com:port# instead of just webaddress.com.

Have you been able to access the internet previously and now it's suddenly not working, or are you still trying to access the internet for the first time on your iPad? Are you at home trying to connect through your home router? If you are at home, did you put your home routers encryption code as your password? The encryption code is what your iPad is looking for and it is usually found on the router and is typically a 13 digit combination of letters and numbers. Let us know......

Unfortunately, when we try to help folks...we usually stumble around for ideas, especially when we don't have the "whole picture". Your router/modem security setup was the wild card.
In your case, it was particularly odd that wife's PC could get out to Citrix through the router's firewall, but Mac couldn't.
But I'd be willing to bet that there's a FAQ section at GoToMyPC, that will explain this for you. But when you're up to your ears in alligators...well you know the rest
(Do you have a firewall running on both the Motorola and on the wireless router? Or don't you have a router, as such, and the network is provided using just the Motorola? Something to think about. Two firewalls are not necessarily better than one).

You are not required to subscribe to Office 365 either. Do keep your copy of Office for Mac 2011 updated via the included AutoUpdate.
Unless it is a personal preference, why do you need Outlook versus Apple Mail? The latter enables you to connect to an Exchange Server, use the corporate Mail directory, and interoperates with meeting requests/replies from OWA, and other Outlook clients. I have used Apple Mail in place of Outlook for Mac, and never had an issue.

I am using my ipad to transfer some mp3s over to my ipad. some go over, most do not. I even had trouble with videos syncing over. I am running version 6.13. I have plenty of space left but they just wont get on there. This is what happens. I take a video I have and make an mp3 out of it sometimes, sometimes its just plain mp3s. I do the conversion and it comes out fine but it goes to my computer itunes and not on my ipad. no they are already in mp3 format I just tried that home sharing today because I couldnt find any other reason why they werent syncing. here is an example of a sync I just tried. I made an mp4 concert into an mp3 it came out perfect on my computer.. then I tried to sync it to my ipad with no luck, other than it going on my computer, it did not show up anywhere on my ipad in any area of the music sections etc playlists, songs, albums etc. Its just not there but remains on my computer. thats why I tried the home share today to see if that would help. Either I am really missing something or there is something wrong with this ipad. When I set up my iPad my hotmail, calendar and contacts were automatically synced with my iPhone. All of a sudden that connection seems to be lost and I can't access my hotmail account (although I can send an email) and my contacts and calendar are empty on the iPad. I have tried deleting the hotmail and reinstalling but nothing changed. I have also reset the iPad twice but that didn't make a difference either. Please help! Is your iPad jailbroke? If it is, all bets are off. If it is not jailbroke, keep reading.
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

You won't be able to purchase and rent from both accounts on the Apple TV, but assuming you use the same ID and password for homesharing (not iTunes) and each have your own libraries, the Apple TV can stream content from either library.

I have the same problem on my iPhone4. It is obviously a bug in the software. Once it pops out I am locked out of my phone. I can't even begin to describe the frustration this causes. All that stuff about holding down the buttons is useless. the phone won't even shut off. I can take a screen shot like that or go to voice control. Even when I got to a wifi connection, I can't get on. This app blocks everything else. This is a serious bug and can have serious consequences. The only thing my phone would do is go to voice control and let me play iTunes or phone people. Some smart phone hey?
