HELP ! Cannot read normals from a Sphere Object !

Hi everybody! Can anyone help me please ? I�m trying to get the coordinates from a Sphere object, and I can�t read them! I�m implementing the Ray Tracing algorithm, and I need to change the color of a certain pixel on the Sphere. I can get the GeometryArray from the Sphere, but I get a "cannot set cabalility bits on a live or compiled object, bla, blah hhh" message, when I try to set the "ALLOW_NORMAL_READ" permission. Thanks for any help.

i would set the capabilities (ALLOW_COORDINATE_READ, ALLOW_COORDINATE_WRITE,ALLOW_NORMAL_READ,ALLOW_NORMAL_WRITE) directly after creating the sphere, before adding to the content branch.

Please help me about my problem in XI version 7.0.im quite new here.
im trying to test my config but error message occured. "Unable to read payload from the message object"
when i checked the comm channel this is the error message :

when i tried my login in sql it works...but in this message the login is failed..what shall i do..
Please advice.

Check with the connection string & Authorization of user you have used.
MSSQL string is
jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://dbhost:1433;databaseName=example;SelectMethod=Cursor
While doing JDBC its good to refer Note 831162 lot of problems can be resolved.

I have a form which is having a navigation
Setup -> Codes,
as soon as the Code page has open, am pressing Cntrl + F11, and am getting the
below error.
APP-FND-01242: Cannot read value from field COMBO.ENABLED_FLAG
Cause: The field COMBO.ENABLED_FLAG could not be located or read.
Action: This error is normally the result of an incorrectly-entered field name string in a trigger, or a field name string that does not uniquely specify a field in your form. Correct your trigger logic to precisely specify a valid field.
when am clicking on the button 'Ok' am getting a value one by one.
am a newbie to forms, please let me know how to solve this error in details

EP5: Cannot read license from lockserver

I hope someone with experience from the (good) old days of EP5 is listening.
We restored a clustered environment on different hardware and tried to get all components back connected.
(as a basis we used Backup_Restore_EP5_V30.pdf)
During the startup we receive next message in the console_logs on the nodes: "Cannot read license from lockserver: Connection refused"
Has anyone faced the same error or the same situation?
Any help more then welcome!

We started from scratch and added this information to the HOSTS file,with success!
We now get the server up and running and can login.
We see a list of our roles but the iViews,pages cannot be found.
We receive now next two error in the logs:
Console_log_error:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.inqmy.services.dbms.server.DBMSServiceFrame
console_log_output:
SystemLandscapeService: getEPSystem(SAPPortals_CommunicationFramework) failed.

Unable to read payload from the message object

I have a scenario where i am send request to http receiver and getting the response. When I am testing through WFETCH it is working fine. But when i am testing through XI I am getting the follwoing error
Unable to read payload from the message object
I have tested the XI payload in mapping. I have done all kinds of testing but it is still giving the same error.
One more strange thing is
I have done one BPM scenario where Data is coming from Source to BPM( which is asyn) and then from it will go from BPM to Target (which is sync) But when I am checking the SXMB_MONI... it showing the messages like this
Source to BPM
Target to BPM
Target to BPM.
But i think it should show message like
Source to BPM
BPM to Target
Target to BPM
why i am getting the flo

If the attachments are common files that your recipients should be able to read (PDF, DOC, TXT) then what is the setting when you select the menu command Edit > Attachments > Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments (checked or unchecked).
If it's unchecked you should check that setting and retry.

IPod nano help - "cannot read contents of..."

Hi,
I have a new iPod Nano and it currently has no songs on it. Whenever I plug it in, this message comes up on iTunes: "Cannot read contents of the iPod "DON". Use the iPod Updater to restore the iPod to factory settings."
I have two iPods, one is my new nano and one is a regular iPod. My regular iPod works fine on iTunes, but I just can't seem to get my iPod Nano to be recognized by iTunes. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I actually tried via sharepod, and iexplorer, but it still had the error telling me theres no data on the device the ipod on its own functions normally and still has all it's data on it. the only last thing i could come up with is redownload all my songs its taken me a long time but i hope restoring it will solve my problem!

Mail cannot read data from server

Hello!
I'm fairly new to Macs, having used a PC for 12 years, and am still getting used to it's little quirks.
I now have a problem where one of my email servers (a POP account) makes Mail (and Thunderbird for that) come up with;
The attempt to read data from ** has failed
Now, I know that the log on info is OK, as using my Webmail account, on the same iMac, accesses the mail fine. I've emptied the relevant mail account, both locally and on the server, removed the local settings and reset them using info on various Mac help sites.
Nothing that I know of has changed, I've ran and re-ran the reset permissions tool.
Can anyone give me any help?

Cannot read content from ipod...

my 30gb ipod was playing on my girlfriends laptop, then she brought the laptop into the kitchen to play and when i looked up, there was music or videos. But there was my photos on the ipod. My ipod is on manually manage and it says that my ipod has the regular amount of space left that it had before so I dont' think the music and videos are gone but if I restore it then I can't keep my stuff. Sorely confused. Tried to remap the drive through the disk management..itunes recognizes that the name of my ipod cant be read but then it tells me to restore.

Have you had a chance to look at this troubleshooting page? It may be of some help: "Disk cannot be read from or written to" when syncing iPod

I have created a custom smartforms and custom print program. In my print program i have read all the data and populated the internal table and i am able to display the data in the smartform output.
I'm using Tcode me23n to print preview the form. i have to read the "text" tab from the me23n tcode using FM "READ_TEXT". The data is getting populated into an internal table. I coded these statements in Initialization tab in global definition.
Now my problem is ..... Can anyone tell me how to display the data into the forms.

Help-cannot download podcast from itunes to ipod. error msg

I have the IPOD video 30gb, 5th generation, and have itunes 7.02..
I am able to download the podcast from itunes into my library, but am unable to download it onto my ipod. an error msg pops up:
"...was not copied to the IPOD because it cannot be played on this IPOD."
I've searched and searched for an answer to this, and it appears to be a somewhat common problem with the itunes upgradeto 7.02
does any one have a solution?!?

Go to the Movies section of your Library to find and play the converted episodes.
*i had converted the podcast previously, but i had just continued to try and transfer it from the podcast section rather than going to the movie's section, and dragging it from there. once i did that, it worked!

Help with Reading values from static table in a .pdf file

Hi guys,
Pls try to clear this doubt of mine.
I basically have 2 files. Both are .pdf extension and they have tables in them. I need to compare certain values in one file with the corresponding values in the other table in the second file.
I need to do this programatically in c# . net
I have tried using packages like pdfbox and stuff which convert the pdf file into text. But cant I get the table as an object or something using which I can access the required rows and columns?
Also, these tables are static information. They are not a part of a form or anything like that.
Please help me with this.

Reports server Cannot read files from mapped drive

Hi,
Am trying to run a report from a network mapped drive under WinNT 4.0 through report server.
I get "REP-0110 Error opening or reading file" error message. After looking up the help on error, I find:
1. The file being accessed does exist
2. The login account has full privileges
with the file/directory/drive in question.
If the report to be run is on a local drive,
everything is fine.
Can anyone help me asap.

hello,
there are multiple things to keep in mind :
1) if you are using a mapped drive :
mapped drives are on a per-user-basis. the reports-server-service is running as a system-service by default and will not have the same mapped drives as the logged on user. in fact it fill have NO drives mapped.
what you could do is to use the UNC-path like \\servername\share\filename to adress the file
2) problems with UNC
there are some known problems using UNC to access files on remote machines in some versions of reports. pls check with oracle support services in case this causes problems.
