Help combining rollovers with js menus

I'm building a site and have hit a roadblock. I've created
javascript menus (adapting code a friend gave me) that work
perfectly, except for the fact that the main menu items are
currently text, but I'd like them to appear as tabs that I've
created with rollover images. The submenus are working perfectly,
using an image background that repeats on the x axis.
I have built 2 samples of the page; one with each of these
features, that I'd like to combine into one. So far I've been
unsuccessful in my attempts to get this to work.

If there's a way to get the submenus to work with the

You realize that by virtue of using the menu you have, your
page is
inaccessable to those who browse without javascript enabled,
or to those who
need to use screen assistive devices when browsing, or even
to those who
cannot use a mouse?
You could bypass all of these problems by using a menu system
that is tested
to perform in all of those situations - like PVII's
TabMenuMagic -

HELP - Combining files with different page views

Hi - I am trying to combine pdf files - some are to be viewed 2-up and others to be viewed as single page. I have not found a way to do this. Even if I save each individual file with its own page view - when I combine them I have to define the new file with a page view so it alters the individual files. Has anyone found a way to manage this problem and have each file retain its individual identity? I would rather not save them as a package but rather as merging files into one pdf file. I can only imagine there should be a way around this. Any ideas???? Thanks, Robin

I want to make an iDVD with 9 menus. Please help.

I want to make a DVD with 9 menus. There are 10 movies that will be on the DVD. Two of the movies
would just have the title. Eight of the movies would have multiple chapter markers. There would be an opening
menu. The opening menu would have 3 buttons on it. One would play a short movie. The other two would go to separate
menus. Each menu would have 4 selections. One selection would play a movie. The other 3 selections would go to separate
menus. Each final menu would have the play button and scene buttons.
Any help would sure be appreciated, or if you could steer me to a tutorial or article that would work. It may be that this is too many
menus. In trying to simplify the DVD, I may be making it too complicated. If I need to I will look to a more powerful DVD creation software.

PSE 11 with Mavericks menus gray. Is there a solution?

Hi - We installed Mavericks. Since then, it takes a very long time to open PSE 11. Once open, when I try to open a file, as soon as I scroll to the open window, PSE 11 locks, goes back to the editor screen and all menus are gray. I have to Force Quit. There is also a separate Editor Icon showing up that I don't remember seeing prior to installing Mavericks. Please help.

It's related to the default display of the CoverFlow viewing mode with the OS dialogs.

If clicking the different modes isn't "quick enough", then you can use CMD1-3 to switch modes as long as the dialog is displayed, Once you get to any other display mode other than CoverFlow, the dialogs should stay open and function properly.

Rollovers with Pop up Menu

The last time I tried to do rollovers with a pop up menu in
Dreamweaver 8. It wouldn't work. So I'm searching for another way
to do it.
I created navigation using Fireworks - follow link below to
example. But when I mouse over the rollover that has a pop up menu
attached to it (First link on the left) the rollover images
disappear. Also the drop down menu tends to hang down longer than I
would like.
Can my problems be fixed? Is Fireworks the right tool for
this task?
I had down loaded a trial of the latest version of
Dreamweaver a few months ago and it seemed that this feature had
been deprecated, but there was some sort of plug-in. I'm far from a
casual user, but it was beyond me for the weekend I tried to use
it. Also, this is a bad time for me to invest in new software or
upgrades.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How to combine BOMs with Free Goods?

Dear all.
I am currently working on setting up a retail store in SAP ERP (6.0). Our client requires from us creating a functionality that would allow to create sets and add free goods to a certain set. For example: if you buy a set consisting of a hammer and a drill at a regular price, you get a pair of gloves free of charge.
We used BOMs to create the sets and attempted to combine them with Free Goods, which prooved impossible -- FGs don't work with BOMs. We also tried to use Bonus Buys, but these seem to be working only with SAP Retail, which is not available to us.
Do you know any way around this problem?

It sounds pretty helpful, however, what we just found out it is impossible to give away free goods according to the local tax standards - so we have to give them away for a fraction of the price rather than free of charge. This forced us to create a separate logic to deduce different item categories in a sales order and different prices according to that.

Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary, and if everything is working as expected after step 1.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:

I have tried to achieve this result in many ways to no avail. If I try to combine PRODUCTS ORDERED with ORDERS I get an erroneous count. I finally resigned myself to getting all the info I needed with separate queries and then trying to combine them with a query of queries. This worked fine until the last query of queries which timed out with no results. I am a newbie and would appreciate any constructive help with this. I am including my queries below as well;

You might be able to simplify that query by getting rid of the subqueries. Something like this

Is it possible to combine JQuery with Captivate?

Hi there,
I'm using Captivate version 6 on a Mac OSX 10. I am creating an elearning resource for a client and most of their staff will be accessing it via iPads and iPhones, so I want to publish it using HTML5. They'd like to add a couple of drag and drop tasks (they don't need to be assessed) but the only way I can see to do this is via the Infosemantics widget. I've bought this and used it for previous projects, and it works well as a drag and drop, but obviously doesn't work on an iPad with it being Flash based.
I've seen that I can create a drag and drop exercise using JQuery, but then I don't know how I can combine this with Captivate to make one seamless presentation. Once the HTML5 has been published is there a way of bringing other HTML pages into it? Or could javascript be used within Captivate?
Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is a website, whose name escapes me ( I am at work ) which people submit to in a variety of languages and various formats such as Extended Cut, Directors Cut etc so that you have no need to mess about with them, just add them. Also, as I said above, some are just for non-English parts so don't show subtitles if the dialogue is in English.

Repair full request :
If you indicate a request in full update mode as a repair request, then it is able to be updated in all data targets. This is also true if they already contain data from initial runs or deltas for this DataSource / source system combination, and they have overlapping selections.
Consequently, a repair request can be updated at any time without checking each ODS object. The system supports loading in an ODS object by using the repair request without having to check the data for overlapping or request sequencing. This is because you can also delete selectively without checking an ODS object.
Posting such requests can lead to duplicate data records in the data target.
Hierarchy/attribute change run after loading master data;
When hierarchies or attributes of characteristics change, the aggregate affected by the change can be adjusted manually or calculated automatically in process chains.
Aggregates:
Aggregates are materialized, pre-aggregated views on InfoCube fact table data. They are independent structures where summary data is stored within separate transparent InfoCubes. The purpose of aggregates is purely to accelerate the response time of queries by reducing the amount of data that must be read in the database for a given query navigation step. In the best case, the records presented in the report will exactly match the records that were read from the database.
Aggregates can only be defined on basic InfoCubes for dimension characteristics, navigational attributes (time-dependent and time-independent) and on hierarchy levels (for time-dependent and time-independent hierarchy structures). Aggregates may not be created on ODS objects, MultiProviders or Remote Cubes.
Queries may be automatically split up into several subqueries, e.g for individual restricted key figures (restricted key figures sales 2001 and sales 2002). Each subquery can use one aggregate; hence, one query can involve several aggregates.
If an aggregate has less than 15 components, BW 3.x puts each component automatically into a separate dimension that will be marked as line item (except package and unit dimension); these aggregates are called flat aggregates. Hence, dimension tables are omitted and SID tables referenced directly. Flat aggregates can be rolled up on the DB server (i.e., without loading data into the application server). This accelerates the roll up (hence the upload) process.
Disadvantage : The more aggregates exist, the more time-consuming is the roll-up process and thus the data loading process; the change run is also affected.

Combining HSL with RGB?

I have an imaging processing need to combine two channels from HSL with a single one from RGB. Specifically I require an HSR image.
I can convert the image to HSL but I can't figure out how to combine the channels. In fact I can't determine which is the H channel and which is the S channel either as PS still shows the channels as being R, G and B even after the conversion despite the colors obviously being changed.

Also I seem not to be able to copy/paste into the channels palate. Right clicking brings up no options other than to duplicate or delete.

Help please...All menus grayed out in CS4...

Premiere Pro used to work and a few weeks ago when I openned it, all of the menu items were grayed out and no editing panel or anything openned. I can't even quit the program. Literally everything is grayed out.
There is nothing I can do with it. I have uninstalled the entire Master Collection using the Adobe Installers and double checked to make sure things were cleaned up by using the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool.I have also attempted to just reinstall Premiere Pro from the disks to no avail.
All other programs in the suite apprear to load and work fine. Only Premiere Pro CS4 does not work.
Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I really need to be able to use the program and can't yet afford to upgrade to CS5.5... so any help would be appreciated.

The second monitor has been an issue with several programs. Photoshop is one too.
There is another thread, where a user was getting the "bing," that a window was open, but could not see it. Sure enough, it was on his second monitor, that had been disconnected. I should have asked if you had ever had a second monitor. I am the "dunce."

Hello there, I am trying to combine photoshop with adobe illustrator for some really basic stuff. However, it keeps glitching for me. I have a saved file from photoshop which is a grey ellipse with the colors PF in it (it is something for my school). I wish to add a flare in the middle of the ellipse, which is a pretty cool effect. I did this before, but I wanted to change the color of the ellipse so I decided to re-do it. Every time I add the flare, it appears BEHIND the ellipse, and even though I bring it to the front and I bring the ellipse to the back, it is still under the ellipse. Please help me.
